We went for Sunday brunch yesterday. I had searched their menu online and knew exactly what I wanted. Was disappointed when I was told they were implementing a new menu that was wasn't online yet. They offered an item that had been on the previous menu (because I wanted Mexican), but it was just "OK". Should have tried something they were prepared to make.

Coblestone Grill has become one of our favorite resturants. We've never been disappointed with the food, the service is wonderful, and, it is one of the best places for outdoor dining when the weather allows. They also have a small, yet welcoming bar, with live entertainment. We learned that their menu is changing a bit, so we are excited to go again soon and see what their wonderful chef will be serving!

Gave this restaurant another try after a 8 year break and encountered the same disappointing experience. We were met by a very unpleasant host (maybe owner) no greeting just a very quick shuffle to what probably is their "family dinning" area. Menu is boring and outdated. Our server seemed impaired. 45 minutes before our drinks came. A table of 4 arrived after us and was served and left just as we were being served our entrees. We asked for coffee after dinner and was told a new pot was being brewed. 15 minutes later finally got the coffee that was luke warm. Really? ......... This seems like a real hot spot for Zionsville, but I just don't get it.

Not cutting edge, but always great tasting meat and fish with slightly different accents. The Northside nights promotion allowed combination of an innovative salad and tranditional entree such that you essentially get a desert for free. The bread pudding as always was delicious, and if not northside nights they offer pies freshly made at a Zionsville bakery.

The menu on the net was different to the actual menu. However it worked out OK. Service was good and we had plenty of time to reminisce with out of state friends. Daughter had eaten there two days before and also gave us a good report, which is why we chose it.

We made reservations online at our desired time. Requested a quiet table since it was for a special occasion. We were put at the best possible location in quiet corner so there was plenty of privacy. The food was very good and a nice presentation. We were given a complimentary dessert, which was a nice added bonus. The waiter was pleasant and efficient.

The Cobblestone Grill has been our "go to" restaurant for probably 5-6 years because of the reliably great food, excellent service and it's location in the heart of quaint Zionsville. Its proximity to Michigan Rd. and I-465 makes it easy for us to meet friends traveling from outside of Indianapolis. The outdoor eating space is great, too.

My wife and I want to this restaurant to enjoy a good meal, but mostly for the live music. Before being seated I asked to be close to where we could hear the list music. The server said we could hear from anywhere in the restaurant. This was not true. We were seated inside and the music was performed outside on a patio area. I asked two other times about not being able to hear the music, but apparently nothing was done. After the meal we walked outside to listen, but there was no place to sit nearby. There were a couple of benches pretty far away - too far to see or hear the talent. Inside the seating was overcrowded. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We frequently dine at this restaurant and have generally always had a great experience. This time there was an issue with the Sea Scallop dish. Two of our four diners ordered this plate and both had to be returned due to way overcooked scallops (nearly inedible). The staff was quick and courteous and before too long both meals were replaced and apologies from a few members of staff were given. Free dessert was offered (and was wonderful) and also to our surprise, BOGO entre coupons were brought to our table before we left. They truely cared that our experience may have been less than desirable and went out of their way to express it. We will continue to visit, as I believe this was a rare miss, and they proved they want us back.

We always enjoy going to Cobblestone, especially when we can sit outside on a pleasant evening. The food was good for everyone and we had a 15 and 11 year old. The entertainment was just right. He was singing the old songs and was there in the background and not overwhelming our conversation.

It's not that we're hard to please, it's just that we live in Chicago and are within blocks of some of the best chefs in the country...and we've been so disappointed by so many Indy area restaurants. Cobblestone is terrific--great food and superior service. Diana took very good care of us and we could really talk without being blasted by some inane background music or loud chatter. We started with the apricot prosciutto bruschetta that was a fabulous flavor mix with the goat cheese and balsamic glaze. Then we had the simple, but perfectly prepared salmon salad. Can't wait to try others--our daughter and spouse took our suggestion and had a great meal there the next evening and loved each dish. Casual elegance at its best.

We picked this randomly during a trip to the Indy 500. Nice local place downtown. We ate inside and saw the patio later...next time it is Al fresco for us. Service was so so as our server had a huge table outside and a six top next to us....so you know who was under served. I would recommend giving the place a shot as the food was great. They also have a nice wine list and lots of craft brewed beer.

I really enjoyed the new ceesar salad and the new filet mignon with crumbled blue cheese - it was melt in your mouth good! The mashed potatoes were great as always, but the vegetable side of zucchini was quite bland and not at all tasty. I've been here many times and always enjoy the food, but this time around I found the vegetable medley not very pleasing. Luckily the steak made up for it, they've clearly chosen a new place to order their meat from!
