The Cobblestone Grill is an upscale yet casual restaurant located on the brick Main Street in the heart of the quaint village of Zionsville, Indiana.

We opened our restaurant in 2000 with the intent of establishing a fine dining destination with a varied menu, friendly and professional service amid a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

You're welcome to join us for Sunday brunch, lunch or dinner in our dining room, private Garden Room or casual Cobblestone Bar - with 4 HDTV sets. We offer 28 beers on tap with a focus on local craft beers. Enjoy Zionsville's only regular live music - from jazz to folk - every weekend. When the season permits, our outdoor brick patio is open day and night.

As a locally owned restaurant, you can be sure we will deliver the special attention and service your dining experience deserves. We invite you to be our guest at the Cobblestone Grill and pledge to make your time here enjoyable and memorable.

Diner Reviews
  • "Love this place. Been here numerous times and always have a wonderful dining experience. Food is always delicious. A great place to go for dinner. On this occassion I had the Sausage pasta dish, a mixed green salad, and the carrot cake. All were wonderful...."

  • "My wife and I want to this restaurant to enjoy a good meal, but mostly for the live music. Before being seated I asked to be close to where we could hear the list music. The server said we could hear from anywhere in the restaurant. This was not true. We were seated inside and the music was performed outside on a patio area. I asked two other times about not being able to hear the music, but apparently nothing was done. After the meal we walked outside to listen, but there was no place to sit nearby. There were a couple of benches pretty far away - too far to see or hear the talent. Inside the seating was overcrowded. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone."

  • "The 5 of us celebrated a birthday for one of the group. It was relaxing, fun, and our server was very patient, and told us to take our time and enjoy the evening"

  • "We frequently dine at this restaurant and have generally always had a great experience. This time there was an issue with the Sea Scallop dish. Two of our four diners ordered this plate and both had to be returned due to way overcooked scallops (nearly inedible). The staff was quick and courteous and before too long both meals were replaced and apologies from a few members of staff were given. Free dessert was offered (and was wonderful) and also to our surprise, BOGO entre coupons were brought to our table before we left. They truely cared that our experience may have been less than desirable and went out of their way to express it. We will continue to visit, as I believe this was a rare miss, and they proved they want us back."

  • "We were greeted with a friendly attendant and served by a friendly staff. The brunch is very nice. We enjoy all of their food. The upgraded burger was great. Also, the desserts are excellent."

  • "The kids menu is not creative and is not in line with other restaurants in the area."

  • "The Cobblestone Grill is one of my favorite places. The food was excellent. Service was without great, and the atmosphere relaxing. My wife and I couldn't have had a better dining experience. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, any time."

  • "We always enjoy going to Cobblestone, especially when we can sit outside on a pleasant evening. The food was good for everyone and we had a 15 and 11 year old. The entertainment was just right. He was singing the old songs and was there in the background and not overwhelming our conversation."

  • "It's not that we're hard to please, it's just that we live in Chicago and are within blocks of some of the best chefs in the country...and we've been so disappointed by so many Indy area restaurants. Cobblestone is terrific--great food and superior service. Diana took very good care of us and we could really talk without being blasted by some inane background music or loud chatter. We started with the apricot prosciutto bruschetta that was a fabulous flavor mix with the goat cheese and balsamic glaze. Then we had the simple, but perfectly prepared salmon salad. Can't wait to try others--our daughter and spouse took our suggestion and had a great meal there the next evening and loved each dish. Casual elegance at its best. "

  • "We picked this randomly during a trip to the Indy 500. Nice local place downtown. We ate inside and saw the patio later...next time it is Al fresco for us. Service was so so as our server had a huge table outside and a six top next to us....so you know who was under served. I would recommend giving the place a shot as the food was great. They also have a nice wine list and lots of craft brewed beer."

  • "I really enjoyed the new ceesar salad and the new filet mignon with crumbled blue cheese - it was melt in your mouth good! The mashed potatoes were great as always, but the vegetable side of zucchini was quite bland and not at all tasty. I've been here many times and always enjoy the food, but this time around I found the vegetable medley not very pleasing. Luckily the steak made up for it, they've clearly chosen a new place to order their meat from!"

  • "We had not tried this restaurant for no good reason. We first went last fall and were pleasantly surprised. Great food and freindly , professional service. We returned for the Northside Nights restaurant week. Our entrees were excellent and our waiter was prompt but not intrusive. They are about the only restaurant in the greater Indianapolis area, that does not give my blind wife (who has an guide dog) a regular menu. This includes restaurants that we frequent. First class all the way."

  • "We had enjoed a couple times for dinner so tried brunch. The country breakfast bowl was huge with lots of sausage, the french toast was really a delicious bread pudding, and there were sandwich choices for a person who is not a breakfast food fan. It wasn't very busy when we arrived for an 11:30 reservation but filled up by noon. The servers were kept quite busy and I would recommend reservations."

  • "We've been to Cobblestone twice and both times received attentive and professional service. It is clear that the wait staff is well-trained and works hard. The food is good, nothing spectacular. On the 15th, we both had specials (Salmon and Steak) which were solid, but nothing spectacular. The vegetables were probably most disappointing, a few stalks of rather dull white asparagus and sweet red pepper. The crab soup was quite tasty...spicy and rich."

  • "We had a great time at Cobblestone. Steak was kind of fatty so the food rating took a hit, especially when considering the price. They had a little live music playing in the bar that was piped through speakers into the back room where we were and that was actually very nice. Staff was great. Atmosphere was great. We would go back."

  • "My husband and I enjoyed our third consecutive Valentine's Day dinner here and were once again pleased with the food, service and ambiance. We appreciated that our request for a table for two was honored. Small details do matter. We are consistently pleased dining at Cobblestone Grill for a special occasion or for a casual, informal experience. The music is delightful either on the patio or inside...although we prefer not to sit too close to the sound."

  • "Dined on Valentine's Day where they had a special menu. Though the meals were well prepared, we would have rather ordered off their normal menu."

  • "The service at Cobblestone Grille is always far above other restaurants in the area. Wonderful food and excellent people. My wife and I always enjoy coming here. This is a great place to do brunch outside with your dog. One of the only places around that is pet friendly."

  • "We have visited Cobblestone Grill many times. Often these visits have been on special occasions. They have never failed to deliver. The service is always very good and the food is excellent! This visit was on Valentines Day. We were unable to make our reservation time due to weather difficulties. I called to ask if we could still come late. The staff was very understanding and told us "just come when you can and we will take care of you". We did and the did! Impressive! Thanks for another great dinner."

  • "I took a group of co-workers here for lunch. Everyone raved about the tastiness of the food. The servers were wonderful. We stayed well after the lunch hour and the staff continued to check on us to ensure we did not need more food or drinks. This is the third time that I have been here and I will keep coming beck."
