Most extensive restaurant week menu I've seen. 3 different appetizers, entrees and desserts; all excellent. Standouts; tempura shrimp, sole, and all desserts; lemon tart, bread pudding and caramel gelato.

Overall a great meal. Fun bar to have a drink at if you are waiting for someone. Food was excellent. Some of the best crab cakes I have had in quite awhile. Sea scallop was well prepared and was a sizable portion. The tuna was also excellent. Service was great and even though the restaurant was crowded there was no rush. The wine list has something for everyone!

Coast is a great neighborhood gem that has an extensive sushi and seafood menu without having to go all the way to NYC. My date and I split a dozen oysters that were plump and briny. I had diver sea scallops that were perfectly pan seared, and my date enjoyed the duck. Our waiter was outstanding, and paid attention to each and every detail. We enjoyed our evening and will be back again.

Seafood is excellent. Fish was very fresh and the prices were reasonable for Greenwich. Lively casual place. No fancy creamy sauces -- just terrific fresh seafood cooked however you like it. Service was attentive but not overbearing.

Both the food and service were very good; although a little over priced for what you got. Attentive service; however, our waiter could have used more support when the patio became full. Flavor combinations, especially on the apps, were interesting.

I'm never dissapointed when I come to Coast, the oyster samplers are amazing with such different variety, and the food its always on point. Not matter if you come for lunch or a late dinner date!! How can you go wrong. Fresh seafood kept our party of 6 busy for a good while. Tuna tartare and lobster rolls, both excellent. Highlight I think was the Toro with Crispy rice, really great. The chocolate gelato with truffle for dessert was a perfect ending....

The restaurant doesn't give you cheap ingredients and uninspiring for the restaurant menu like many other places do. The service is efficient and friendly. Every dish we tried are all amazing and can see that the chef actually did put some thought into creating the menu. I think it is difficult to find a great seafood restaurant in Connecticut, finally Coast catches. Very good experience, fresh seafood, reasonable price.

Been here a number of times and have always loved our experience. They have a large selection of seafood. You must order it! The wait staff is fun and knowledgable and the food has gone from good to great. The appetizers are also a treat, with Torched Salmon and Crispy Chicken spring roll. My Skate Fish was the best I have ever had. Fully cooked but still moist. Simply prepared perfection that showcased the fish. I love their warm Bread Pudding. We'll keep coming back.

Went for my birthday with my mom, husband and teenage daughter for an earlyish Sunday dinner and we all were happy and more than satisfied with our dining experience. We had two appetizers (calamari and lobster risotta) the spicy seafood chowder, entres including the fish and chips, the red snapper, the spaghetti with fresh crabmeat and my own tile fish special (to die for :) ) ... Service was excellent; was quiet in restaurant (not unexpected for earlyish on Sunday) but got livelier as dinner progressed. I could see that eating outside here would have upped the ambience for us, but that noteithstanding, we will be returning to Coast Seafood and highly recommend it.

The food was good but the service made it not worth going back. Drink orders were not immediately taken, and it took forever to be served. The main course was served 1-1/2 hours after we were seated. The sashimi appetizer was tiny. If you want to try the restaurant, don't go during the weekend. Maybe then the service will be better.

The restaurant changed name from Nuage to coastal but same chef. Toro tuna app was great but the tuna tartar had a bit too much sesame seed oil which masked the tuna taste the risotto was dense, not creamy, with little taste. The fish and chops was excellent while the octopus app was mushy and not exciting. Overall since $185 for 3 ppl( and we had only one glass a wine for the table and no dessert) it was way over priced for average food. Not sure why the place was packed.

We usually eat early, when the restaurant is quite quiet. However, this time we came after a late meeting. The place was alive with happy foodies! The food was excellent, as usual. My husband had escargot and squid and octopus: his favorites. They were outstanding of course. I had the spring roll which was excellent followed by the fish and chips which, I must say, was just average. We look forward to going again soon, and exploring even more of this fabulous menu!

Reservations at 8, seated 8:03. Quite buzzed that night. Started with fresh lobster roll, fantastic. Followed by crunchy rice cakes (my buddy strongly suggested), I loved them; my wife thought they were yum. Chilean seabass cooked perfectly, tender and juicy. Dive scallop with cauliflower was everything! The dessert recommended was the chocolate gelato with truffle. Overall food is great, will return!

From the minute we arrived the staff made us feel really special on our 15th Wedding anniversary. They served us champagne and made this special day fabulous. The food was perfect- we started with the oysters which was heavenly. The sushi and arctic char were excellent choices as the seafood is exceptionally fresh and served on time. The staff is very knowledgeable about the food and the wines served. I was so grateful we picked the Coast as we do for many of our romantic occasions.

We were five, and were seated in one of the comfortable banquette tables. Waitress, Marta, was immediately welcoming, attentive but not intrusive all during dinner. The food, as always was excellent. Stated with sushi and fresh oysters and live soft shell crab. Their seafood is the best. Divers Sea scallop, Scottish salmon, red snapper for main courses, chocolate lava cake for dessert..The martinis were made to perfection and the wine list was a nice range from affordable to expensive. Overall, we'll come back definitely!

We were celebrating a special occasion, so ordered the 5 course tasting menu for $65. Here's what a tasting menu is supposed to be: It is supposed to be courses created by the chef that are different from the regular menu. It is supposed to include a few surprises, amuses bouche, that are like little gifts. It is supposed to allow time for savoring this experience. Here's what it was at Coast: Five courses that we could have ordered off the menu. The chef deciding what to feed us is not the same as a tasting menu. There was nothing in addition to these 5 dishes. At the end I felt like I had allowed myself to be taken advantage of and greatly regretted the experience.

Restaurants in Greenwich tend to have a wholesome, fresh and quality foods. This one somehow has much more personality both in its food and atmosphere. If you love fresh seafood and/or sushi this one is a must. Their wine list, salads, apps, and wide range of fresh seafood from the live soft shell crab to Maine Lobster and fatty toro are all great... hard to find such great food around this area! Excelklent and very friendly and energetic service. Food excellent and well-presented. An oddity: bread is served and a tiny portion of olive is poured into a shallow saucer on the table and the oil container is taken away "because we will need it" said the waiter. Then when one needs more oil you have to wait to catch the waiter's eye; then ask for it; then wait while he goes to get it; then he pours a small amount again; then and then.... This is silly. Just put a small bottle of oil oil on each table. When entrees cost $35 this is not too much.

They sat us quickly but that's the only thing that happens quickly at this restaurant. Took 15 min for a water and a hello. Took 45 min for our appetizer. The waiter was no where to be seen almost the entire time. Did I mention the place was half full. The beef carpaccio and tuna tartare were average. The burger was great. The seafood risotto was terrible and was served like warm. Just a waste of time.
