  • "We were five, and were seated in one of the comfortable banquette tables. Waitress, Marta, was immediately welcoming, attentive but not intrusive all during dinner. The food, as always was excellent. Stated with sushi and fresh oysters and live soft shell crab. Their seafood is the best. Divers Sea scallop, Scottish salmon, red snapper for main courses, chocolate lava cake for dessert..The martinis were made to perfection and the wine list was a nice range from affordable to expensive. Overall, we'll come back definitely!"

The food is wonderful in that it is authentic, fresh and alive with flavor. The energy is great and the staff is the right balance between professional, friendly and respectful. Oyster Samplers, Grilled octopus and Seafood with squid ink pasta are my recommendations."

  • "We were celebrating a special occasion, so ordered the 5 course tasting menu for $65. Here's what a tasting menu is supposed to be: It is supposed to be courses created by the chef that are different from the regular menu. It is supposed to include a few surprises, amuses bouche, that are like little gifts. It is supposed to allow time for savoring this experience. Here's what it was at Coast: Five courses that we could have ordered off the menu. The chef deciding what to feed us is not the same as a tasting menu. There was nothing in addition to these 5 dishes. At the end I felt like I had allowed myself to be taken advantage of and greatly regretted the experience."

  • "Restaurants in Greenwich tend to have a wholesome, fresh and quality foods. This one somehow has much more personality both in its food and atmosphere. If you love fresh seafood and/or sushi this one is a must. Their wine list, salads, apps, and wide range of fresh seafood from the live soft shell crab to Maine Lobster and fatty toro are all great... hard to find such great food around this area! Add this one to your key go-to list in Greenwich."

  • "Really enjoyed this restaurant, sat outside and was surprised to see we were in view of water and cattail, quiet and so enjoyable. Did not expect the pretty view, since the restaurant is on the end of a string of stores. Food was really, really good. Service was a bit slow to get started, but once it did all were attentive and friendly. Food was timely and delish!"

  • "Excelklent and very friendly and energetic service. Food excellent and well-presented. An oddity: bread is served and a tiny portion of olive is poured into a shallow saucer on the table and the oil container is taken away "because we will need it" said the waiter. Then when one needs more oil you have to wait to catch the waiter's eye; then ask for it; then wait while he goes to get it; then he pours a small amount again; then and then.... This is silly. Just put a small bottle of oil oil on each table. When entrees cost $35 this is not too much."

  • " Excellent spinach salad ... interesting/unusual lobster roll (Asian style!) -- and AMAZING carrot/ginger puree. Divine!!! I will come back for that alone. Delicious grilled salmon and crisp, delicious fries. Noisy but what else can be expected on a Sat. night. Charming/efficient/handsome waiter. We will absolutely return ... Thank you."

  • "They sat us quickly but that's the only thing that happens quickly at this restaurant. Took 15 min for a water and a hello. Took 45 min for our appetizer. The waiter was no where to be seen almost the entire time. Did I mention the place was half full. The beef carpaccio and tuna tartare were average. The burger was great. The seafood risotto was terrible and was served like warm. Just a waste of time."

  • "We all (4) of us enjoyed our meal-tuna tartar, soft shelled crabs, snapper and duck, Caesar salad. Sitting outside was delightful--one of few places in Westchester or CT that offer an attractive, comfortable, quiet--no busy street noise-- setting for outdoor dining. Service was friendly, attentive but not overbearing, as it sometimes was in its previous incarnation as Nuage. We will definitely be coming back!"

Everything we tried from the Live soft shell crab, to the fresh Divers sea scallops and Wild Scottish salmon was a delight to the palate. Despite the unpleasantness of a customer who was chewing the chef out (who listened thoughtfully and responded graciously) who really just wanted his meal comped my companion and I had a really great night.   • "Locals love it here for very good reasons. the fish is wonderful, as is the sushi, service is friendly but professional. If they have Toro crispy rice the night you are there, order it. It's the best of all. I've been coming here since I moved from NYC this year and love it. My office is not far so I grab lunch, after work drinks and dinner frequently and the Coast never disappoints."

  • "Had dinner there with another couple recently. Friendly service, but extremely long wait for the various appetizers and entrees. Fortunately the restaurant was not crowded on a Monday night. We might have had to wait until midnight. Food in itself was excellent. Decor is a bit faded, layout not changed from previous owners "Nuage". The chef needs help as it simply takes too long to get the food on the table."

  • "Friendly service on a quiet Friday evening,food was fairly good...one meal (salmon) was very good,the other (snapper) was fair,at best.Drinks were very good,as was molten chocolate dessert.We were visiting from out of town and called for directions....hostess was basically useless,and didn't tell us we were right across the street as we tried to find the place.All in all,not a "bad" experience,but based upon reviews,we were expecting better."

The food was exceptional as well, I had the sea bass and my wife, the snapper both recommended...pur table was outside, lights, great weather, great wine with candlelight. Highly recommended for a romantic dinner and special occasion."

Sadly, there was a table of extremely loud people that did not knowhow to behave themselves after a couple of glasses of wine and ruined the evening for everybody else. I think it's perfectly OK for the owner of the restaurant or key staff to step in and remind them of normal human behavior, or simply escort them out of the restaurant."

  • "We were party of 5 for the business lunch at Coast. We had the prix fixe lunch. The mussles were impeccable. All the food was beautifully plated and more importantly delicious. It was very busy at lunch, but we were attended to. 3 course prix fixe only $22 is a very good deal with multiple choices(entree, dessert or drink, and coffee included) in Greenwich. Very enjoy!"

  • "We had a wonderful Father's Day dinner at Coast. It was a beautiful day and we sat outside. We had seafood and steak as well as salads and appetizers. Not only the seafood, but also the filet mignon were delicious. Our waiter was very attentive and made sure our dining experience was delightful. I have dined at Coast several times and have always been very satisfied with our dining experience. We will return and will recommend Coast to our friends."

  • "Don't be fooled by its location in a strip of shops. The food here is sophisticated. Asian influenced. Sampled most of the appetizers and everything is delicious, particularly the tuna tarter. In warm weather, there is a nice side patio for outdoor dining. This is a hidden gem."

  • "I moved to Greenwich from New York City so I always expect fresh seafood, but when I am saying fresh, I really mean fresh when it comes to this restaurant. Delicious dishes and the seafood is so fresh that the meat of the seafood tastes sweet. Of note, they have an excellent big eye tuna tartare . If you love oysters, they have a nice selection. Plus, toro crispy rice is my favorite dish!"

  • "I didn't know what to expect when I made the reservations for the Coast, but all the recommendations seemed positive. Now I know why. The seafood was excellent; we ordered the Soft Shell Crab, Oysters as a starter and entrees were Red Snapper, Crab Spaghetti and Sushi—all very enjoyable. There was also a decent selection of moderately priced wines and beers. There was a nice energy—good music and buzz. The volume of the conversation was loud, but no overwhelming. The waiter was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We were a party of five and went to celebrate a graduation, Coast would be suitable for just about any occasion."

  • "Lots of our friends recommended Coast Seafood Restaurant to us. We couldn't get a seat at their busiest weekend, but we tried on Tuesday night. We arrived at 7 pm and Coast was already buzzed with beautiful people. Seated immediately on arrival, service was fantastic, attentive but not overbearing. We started with the scottish salmon trio which was so fresh and inventive. Live soft shell crab was crispy and tasty. Diver scallops and cauliflower was the stand out, plump scallops and beautiful textures and balanced flavours. Cocktails were delicious. Skipped dessert as we are so full. Great spot to impress."

  • "Weather cooperated for outdoor seating, which enhanced our wonderful meal. We had great food for lunch. I recommended their prix fixe lunch menu, 3 courses for only $22. I ordered rock shrimp and tuna steak plus bread pudding; my friend had tuna tartare for apptazier, salmon for entrée, coffee instead of dessert. Very fresh and tasty seafood with extensive choices. My father is seafood lover, I will bring him for the father's day to celebrate."

  • "The service was horrible - it was obvious they were understaffed. We had to wait for the butter to go with the bread, the appetizer took for ever and four of us were served while the fifth member of our party had to wait. By the time the entrees arrived, I had asked for the bill to be brought at the same time. When I asked to speak to the manager, I was told he was cooking!! If you are a restaurant that charges the prices it does, you cannot use the excuse that the tables filled up at the same time and the kitchen is overwhelmed. Surely that is the purpose of a restaurant - to feed people at similar times We left and had dessert elsewhere which was delicious and promptly served with care and politeness."
