  • "But this time not so much. Waitress had too many tables and was not engaging. Had better service at ihop. Food choices seem to be dwindling and uninspired. One of the charms of Clyde's is that although it is a chain, it never felt like one until this visit. Service really does make the difference."

  • "Normally pretty good here but had issues with one of our orders which made it disappointing. My wife had salmon, which was really good. I ordered the Filet Mignon special, which came out wrong twice. It was nice sitting outside though."

  • "The experience started poorly with wait staff ignoring us for over 10 minutes. We said something to the manager and he totally made it right. He even provided us with a free lunch!!! Everyone makes mistakes, it is how you react to the mistake to make it right. Clyde's always makes it right and I will be back again and again."

  • "We enjoyed a lovely July 4 dinner on the patio. The food was very good and the service excellent. I've lived in NOVA for 20+ years and have never been disappointed in Clyde's restaurants. Willow Creek however is the exception. Just the week before, I was at Willow Creek for a private luncheon, and again, great food and excellent service and the atmosphere is perfect all around."

  • "This was at least our fifth visit, most of the time with friends; this time, just my wife and I. Every time the food was so-so for at least one of the guests. this time the lamb was substandard. The service was just acceptable, and the restaurant was ice cold. For a Fourth of July, attendance was extremely low: we were almost alone in our room. Too bad, because the location is charming, the building is attractive and well decorated, inside and out. It looks like the business is declining. Our visit will remain the last to this Clyde's. This opinion is valid for this Clyde's only; the one in Reston is still fantastic and we love it!"

  • "The food and dining experience were great as always. The service was excellent. My father enjoys Clydes every time he visits from out of state."

  • "The location is fabulous, the service is friendly and professional and the food is consistently delicious - the only comment we had is that the air flow from the air conditioning was cold and uncomfortable. I had to ask the waitress to turn down the AC - even though I had a heavy sweater on (over a summer dress), the flow was hitting my head and neck - I was shivering. The waitress was friendly - and about mid-way through dinner, it became more comfortable. I just hate to have to ask for things like that. Thank you"

  • "I arrived at Clyde's with three professionals who had never dined at this location before. They were all duly impressed with the food, the service, and the ambiance, especially since it was a lunch. I never hesitate to dine at Clyde's for any meal. I cannot comment on the brunches at this location because I have never had brunch here. However, the many times I have had brunch at previous locations I have not once been disappointed."

  • "What drives a chef to produce an excellent meal over and over seems to be a passionate, obsessive, and unrelenting desire of excellence. Each plate carries the chef's perishable testament and the indelible signature. Our meal was excellent. The service, we received, is a reason to overhaul the management. Very poor service and it is the managements fault. Let the chef know his creations are being dealt to the patrons with little more than fast food etiquette and perhaps he can shape up the dinning room. Good job Chef."

  • "He had never been to Clyde's and was very impressed - we had a wonderful time - he's a growing boy so he had an appetizer and an entree that he loved - I had the salmon special - it was delicious. We also enjoyed reading all the information about the building of the restaurant - very interesting."

  • "Setting is great and the food the same as always. Server was pleasant but clueless. I was run over by a phalanx of servers who were more intent on joking among themselves then worrying about a customer. Same old Clyde's but staff needs a refresher course."

  • "Clyde's Willow Creek Farm is less than 2 mile from my home. So with that, my wife and I are very fortunate to in this area and to have this restaurant close by. We came in early for drinks at one of the bars, and had dinner. My wife and I shared the a salad and appetizers, and had separate entrees. It was all great!! We had a great time and a great meals."

  • "It was a beautiful day. The patio at Willow Creek is picturesque with a fountain, lovely plants and a pretty view. The wait staff was friendly . Service was a little slow. The food was excellent."

  • "Had a nice father's day meal that felt special without breaking the bank. Our waitress was great. The food took quite a long time to come out though, especially since we ordered simple items (fish and chips, chicken sandwich, PB&J). It even took longer than I expected to get our salads. Made it tough to keep our hungry little ones quiet. I still like this restaurant and will go back again."

  • "The ambience and decor were beautiful! The food was above average. However, I can think of many other restaurants off the top of my head that have much more impressive food than Clyde's Willow Creek. The restaurant was pretty empty when our family of four arrived for our 5:00pm reservation, and although our waitress was pleasant enough, she seemed tense and made us feel rushed. The restaurant also marked us a a "no-show" even though we were there right on time for our reservation. Probably wouldn't go back, but it was interesting to try it this once."

  • "This was our second visit to Clyde's Willow Creek Farm. I decided to celebrate Father's Day at this charming outdoor dining location. And again the ambience, service, food and drinks were outstanding. A real favorite - a fun and relaxing place to enjoy an afternoon."

  • "Primary server kept us waiting, didn't bring plates for the coffee cake that took a long time to arrive before our order came on Father's day. My wife asked for medium well for her steak and egg meal, and the steak came out rare. On the service side, the other servers in our area saw we were getting slow service and stepped into help."

  • "The food was excellent, the service staff friendly, our waiter was not as attentive as most. Overall, good place to dine in this area."

  • "Always liked this place but Father's Day brunch was just so-so. For men I thought they would have included more meat dishes not just regular brunch menu. Food ok but nothing special. Don't order cookies for a small dessert. Very blah. We had bloody Mary's and neither of us thought there was any vodka in them; very watery."
    Dined on 6/15/2014
  • "Food was quite good and what you expect from Clyde's, the actual setting of the restaurant in a farm is very nice, but this time the waitress's was very forgetful and it took too long for the food to come out, plus they sat us in a windowless booth which I didn't appreciate."

  • "Calamari was delicious; we loved the spicey-sweet jelly over cocktail sauce! A keeper. We enjoyed the white sangria (expected melons as waiter described but had only three berries) but the red sangria wasn't sweet at all and had a bitter aftertaste. Our personal taste in sangria leans towards more fruit laden and served in wine goblets over the tall tumbler. We wouldn't order this again."

  • "Clyde's at Willow Creek Farm is one of my favorite places to go for lunch on Saturday. The atmosphere is wonderful. The outdoor seating is the best I have seen. It is a beautiful restaurant with happy people and good food."

  • "We have been here a few times. It is always an experience since there are so many places to be seated. Each room has something different. They are also very accomadating to my husband's food allergy. The food is always excellent no matter what you get."

  • "I've been to this restaurant several times in the past. As a matter of fact, I have been to several other Clyde's restaurants over the years and have had great experiences. Not this time. The waitress was very inexperienced. She was left on her own without proper training. We were not offered bread with the meal. We had to ask for it well after our main course was served. The food came to the table luke warm. Our water glasses were not refilled at all. By far, this was the worst dining experience I have ever had. I get better service at McDonalds. The staff that bus the tables were noisy and it was distracting to constantly have the water glass carts constantly going by the table. I will not be returning to this restaurant. "

  • "If we want to take an out of town friend with uncertain likes and dislikes in food; and we want them to be impressed with our hospitality and taste, there is nowhere better than Clyde's, and among them: Old Ebbitt, Willow Creek and Tower Oaks epitomize the chain. Always excellent, nee exemplary."

  • "My wife and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary on Tuesday and had dinner at Willow Creek. It was an outstanding experience, I would definitely go again. When making the reservation I made a request and sure enough they had read it and helped me out. The environment is very nice and I suggest if you have never been to check it out. "

  • "Had multiple wait staff serving table and one had a bad attitude. Food didn't come with all items listed on menu, which staff never mentioned, and then got attitude from staff when I questioned what was served. Restaurant ran out of items on menu and didn't say anything. Would not recommend this restaurant."

  • "I had heard good comments about Clyde's other locations and thought the Willow Creek Farm would be the perfect evening out for our 14th Anniversary. The location is good, the reconstruction of the old buildings is what my wife and I both enjoy. The only thing missing was good food. I am gluten intolerant and the menu did not state that the baked cod was covered in bread crumbs that obviously contained all the flavor. Once I removed that, so I could eat the cod, there was no flavor left. The red potatoes were the only thing on the plate with any flavor. The steak that my wife ordered was chewy. We have had much better steak at less expensive restaurants. We will not go to Clyde's again or recommend it to any friends."

  • "...to provide quality individual service. Beautiful location and decor, but we were seated in an area where sun shone through in our faces the entire meal. We should have been offered a table without this sunlight problem when we were seated and/or when we mentioned it to our waitress. Wait staff was fine. Booth seats dirty with crumbs. My mom (visiting from NC) loved here swordfish but my pasta was lack-luster. Will not return. Should've taken her to a place in Reston---closer to where I live. "
