Clyde's Willow Creek FarmDelicious halibutWe went here for Mother's Day and really enjoyed the May special of halibut. Delicious! The history behind the various dining rooms is interesting. We were in the carriage room - nice but a little noisy for our taste. However, we have eaten here before, in quieter rooms.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMothers Day - BrunchBusy outing with mothers. Very good food and drinks. Will be back.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMWill bring a smile to your motherEver reliable, Clyde's remains a pleasure.
The chef knows seafood.
Visually, there is much to catch the eye.
The servers are well trained and attentive.
It is the kind of place you will return to again and again.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMClydes is always a "home run"Clydes is always a "home run" and the Willow Creek location, besides being the closest to my home in Leesburg, is I think best of all (I have visited Tysons , Reston, and Verizon Center in the past year)--- this company does an exceptional job of hiring and training very polite and people-oriented staff.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMI went to Clyde's in BrambletonI went to Clyde's in Brambleton for a Mother's Day dinner. The atmosphere and food was amazing! Thank you for making my Mother's Day dinner a wonderful experience.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMFantasticoClyde's Willow Creek Farm was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We arrived about 10 minutes early and were seated immediately, even though it was Mother's Day and the restaurant was extremely busy. The service was excellent. The Eggs Chesapeake is simply scrumptious. The prices are VERY reasonable. Apart from being an exquisite dining experience, it's worth the visit just for the historical interest!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGo-to restaurantClyde's WCF has been our go-to restaurant for all special occasions. Every time we have gone the food and service has been outstanding. This was our first time for brunch, and we were happy to have the same wonderful experience as we have had on previous visits. My only complaint, if you want to call it that, was our server did not offer to refill coffee soon enough. I think they are used to serving coffee for dessert, and are not accustomed to breakfast/brunch coffee drinkers who like more than one cup. Other than that, everything was delicious.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's day dinnerI decided to take my Mom and my wife out for Mother's day and thought that WCF would be a great choice. We weren't disappointed. The food was great and the service was good as well. The only slight blemmish was that our table wasn't cleaned and setup prior to us sitting down, they perfomed this as we waited for our server to take our order. Personally I would have sat us in a prepared table that was ready.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMUnique AmbianceWell worth an afternoon walk-through before dining just for the unique grounds and architecture, as it was specially designed by the owner from several New England farm buildings reassembled into a multi-room bar and dining layout. Food was excellent and service outstanding!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMOur service was wonderfulOur service was wonderful and even though the server let us know there were problems with the computer, everything went flawless.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMGreatLove Clydes Willow Creek Farm; one of the best restaurants in Northern Virginia. Great atmosphere -- built out of an old farmhouse and barn, with lots of personality. Great food, great service. My wife has bad food allergies and the staff at Clyde's WCF is always incredibly accommodating and she has never had a reaction to anything. Above and beyond!5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMEat at Clyde'sClyde's Williw Creek has it all. Burries all other Clydes' in terms of ambiance & quality. YOu can come casual or dressed to the nines & feel "in place" either way - and you will leave with a wonderful sense of satisfaction in your experience. Oh, and the food is awesome.
Ssipess5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMNice Place for a Nice OutingI have been a Clyde's customer since they first opened the Tyson's Corner location. I have always enjoyed their dining atmosphere and food. Bruch last week was very good as usual and was my second visit to this place. I have elderly parents and the place is easily accessible. My mother loves to go here and even her picky appetite is satisfied.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMAwesome as usualWe've been to Clyde's numerous times a year and have never had a bad experience. The service is always pleasant and attentive and the food is amazing. The portions are good and come out hot. We ordered apps, salads, burger, fish, kid's meal, and Cinco de Mayo specials.................what a good time.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways greatI've been to Clydes in Broadlands a few times and I have always enjoy the full experience. Excellent food, service and atmosphere.4/30/2013 12:00:00 AMNever fails to please!I've never turned down an opportunity to eat at Clyde's. Keep up the good work. I'll be back soon.4/29/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Dining!!Although a large place, it is still quaint and charming! The cream of crab soup was rich and loaded with blue crab. Glad we only ordered one spinach salad because it was huge!! It too was loaded with fresh spinach, egg, bacon and the sweet walnuts were a perfect balance to the vinaigrette dressing. The Mr. had the salmon and I had the trout. To the Mr.'s dismay, the salmon did not come with either a potato or rice but our server, Alex, had some jasmine rice added, making it a perfect meal! Both of our entrees were delicious, had plentiful portions and came to us hot!! Alex was attentive, yet we never felt hurried. Thank you Clyde's Willow Creek Farm for an outstanding and relaxing dining experience!4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat place to take a familyGreat place to take a family (w/ high school and college age boys) for a special occasion and a nice step up from the normal neighborhood family chains like Applebees, TGIF, etc. Never a traffic problem. Comfortable setting and decor. Good value in terms of food quality, selection and price.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMWe tthink this restaurantWe tthink this restaurant is one of the best because of the ambiance. We've taken many out of town guests there primarily forthe ambiance.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat place! Great food andGreat place! Great food and service. Highly recommend.4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat atmosphere, serviceGreat atmosphere, service and the food was delicious.4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is a great place to goThis is a great place to go for a special occasion. We went for our 40th anniversary dinner and again for a family birthday. Extra special to relax and feel pampered with food you would not find on the ordinary chain restaurant menus. Quiet relaxed atmosphere where you do have to speak loudly to hear each other.4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMTried the new Lamb Steak! We go here a lot, it's right down the street from our house. Always great food, always great service. My 2 teenage boys love it too. The had a NEW item I had to try, a Lamb Steak on potatoes with asparagus. First, the lamb steak was really good. Oddly enough, very little of the gamey/strong lamb flavor. I actually LIKE the lamb flavor, but this was grilled nicely, and I think much more subtle and main-stream for people that might not be such a fan of the strong lamb flavor. I'd get it again. Potatoes with onion were fine. But I STILL don't get WHY restaurants continue to serve TREE TRUNK sized asparagus?? Small, young, tender asparagus is what you want, not tough, stringy, huge things. Please STOP that.4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMThe both the quality and presentatiThe both the quality and presentation of food was very good and the service was excellent.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMNot lying about the 5 stars...weNot lying about the 5 stars...we took friends from Arlington, a long drive, and they now have Clyde's at Willow Creek on the top of their special occasion restaurants...and maybe prime for taking the grandchildren out to lunch on a Saturday . Like a mini-vacation ...4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMIncredibleOur dining experience here was one of if not the best we've ever experienced. The service is friendly and efficient. The food is top notch. For the price you just can't beat the food and the ambience of the facility. The calamari is incredible, the KC strip steak was tender and delicious and done to my request. My wife's trout parmesan and accompanying vegetables was large enough to feed two. The wine and beer lists are all encompassing. Our server, Mark, was spot on even tho' he was very busy. We highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMBeautiful location and wonderfulBeautiful location and wonderful ambience. Very disappointed in the food. The signature strip steak was very tough, almost inedible. Service was excellent. Would love to say I'd go back, but after paying that much for a poor meal, I doubt it.4/16/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and service. MadeGreat food and service. Made anniversary dinner memorable.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMConsistent Clyde'sDinner was very good. Clyde's is very consistent on some items like the crab cakes, for instance, which my wife had. Server was attentive and all went well.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways a consistently goodAlways a consistently good experience with this organization and this night was no exception. The server wasn't quite up to their standards so I'll just surmise a long day or rough shift, but it was still a good experience.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding Ashburn/BroadlandsOutstanding Ashburn/Broadlands area location. Great look, service, and food. My new favorite place4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMService was outstanding. TheService was outstanding. The food was better prepared than the same at any of Clydes other locations. We will definitely return to Clyde's Willow Creek Farm.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMHappy Easter!Willow Creek was a find! We had a wonderful holiday brunch in the George Washington Room, so welcoming that it made even a gloomy, damp Easter feel special. A 'Bunny' came around, also a wonderful musician, and they had bunnies in the courtyard for the children as well. Food and drinks were exceptional, all hot, the service was friendly and prompt, and every table seemed to be happy and well served. Awesome Sazerac, a drink not usually done well outside of NOLA. We had the Easter ham, some of the best ever, delicious grilled baby asparagus, and our daughter's burger was great. Only sad note, the lemon meringue tart had whipped cream on top instead of meringue; my husband, who ordered it, was looking forward to it in memory of his Mom.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMBring all of your friends & familyGreat restaurant with a great variety of offerings. I will come back with my vegetarian and vegan friends. Some restaurants will include those offerings if they have to-- and they are typically uninspired - not memorable. The vegan and vegetarian offerings at Willow Creek were just as enticing and just as well prepared as the meat entrees.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Atmosphere Great ServiceHad Easter Brunch in a Tavern Room. Atmosphere was great - had a quiet conversation with the rest of the party. Service was excellent - as usual.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMI got an OpenTable confirmationI got an OpenTable confirmation number, but Clyde's did not get the reservation. Fortunately they had an available table.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMWe went for Easter BrunchWe went for Easter Brunch and our experience was fantastic. The service, food, overall ambiance was superior. Thanks for a great experience!3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMThird of fourth time my wifeThird of fourth time my wife and I have eaten here, and we are happy every time we do. This time it was for Easter brunch. Prices are reasonable, the service is excellent - and very respectful to the patrons - and the food is always wonderful.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMMy Mother and I really loveMy Mother and I really love this restaurant. We've never had to wait for a table, the service has always been excellent and the food is always delicious and plated so beautifully. We love the fact that Clydes restored the old buildings instead of tearing them down. They make this restaurant very unique. We will keep coming as long as they keep serving!3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMWe went on Easter Sunday forWe went on Easter Sunday for Brunch. It was extremely busy with a number of larger family groups but the staff were handling the reservations very well. We had requested a certain room and were seated there within a few minutes of our arrival. The Easter Bunny even stopped by and gave us a choice of candy and the manager made rounds to see if everyone one was content. The food was great for such a busy day and our server always there to check on us. We visit the Clyde chain of restaurants quite often in Va. and the District. We are rarely disappointed.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMtHEY WERE VERY ACCOMODATINGtHEY WERE VERY ACCOMODATING OF MY DAUGHTER THAT HAS GLUTTON INTOLERANCE, BUT THEY DIDNT HAVE A SET MENU AND THE WAITER WAS CLUELESS, THE MANAGER WAS VERY GOOD AND TOOK CARE OF HER3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMFor the money, you can't beatFor the money, you can't beat Clydes. The menu is interesting and varied - a little something for everyone. The Parmesan Flounder was simply prepared, crispy and delicious. The tempura salad, satisfying and yummy. The service was perfect; the waiter was attentive but did not "hover". The food was sent directly from the kitchen to our table, and was still hot when it arrived. Plenty of wine choices by the bottle that were affordable. Overall, a perfect dining experience.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMOverall a good experienceOverall a good experience but not without hiccups. We were seated at a bit of an odd time (4:30) so maybe the normal kitchen staff were not there yet. First the good news: I had the rockfish special which was outstanding. Secondly, the service was great. Now for the bad news. My wife ordered a burger (medium rare). When it arrived, the middle was medium rare but the outside was a bit charred. Also, my wife ordered the brownie sundae for desert and part of the brownie was inedible. It was overbaked and so dry and hard there was no way to cut it. (I tried as well). My past experiences says this is an outlier and not typical of Clyde's and will not deter us from visiting again. Everyone gets a pass once in a while.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMWe always love Clyde's WillowWe always love Clyde's Willow Creek! The food is excellent! The whole family walked out happy :) I only rate the Ambiance as "good" though because we were seated in the large dining room (I call it the coral because I feel like we are ust herded in there). Most of the facility is so amazing that I can't believe the massive dining room - a few walls to sub-divide it would make a huge difference. The large dining hall just does not have the fine dining atmosphere of the rest of the restaurant. And I'm alwasy disappointed when we get seated there.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent ambience for couplesExcellent ambience for couples or family. Great special - Rockfish! Perfection! Very friendly server.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMThe service was excellentThe service was excellent and the food was great. We had family visiting from CO and wanted to rake them somewhere special - Clyde's at Willow Creek Farm fit the need very well.3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMEnjoyed our evening untilEnjoyed our evening until a table of nine young women were seated near us. I know they had to sit somewhere, but too bad that it was in our dining room. However, we will go back again.3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMWe went for St. Patricks DayWe went for St. Patricks Day again this year but were dissapointed that they did'nt have Shepherd's pie this year. My husband was happy with the corn beef and cabbage but alas no sheperds pie for me and our daughter.3/17/2013 12:00:00 AMBirthday celebration. GreatBirthday celebration. Great waiter. Very good food. Welcoming atmosphere. Very comfortable booth seats. Not rushed out. Fun evening.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMMy husband's rock fish dinnerMy husband's rock fish dinner special was excellent. It was gluten free also. I had the trout that was delicious. Our friends had the shrimp and risotto. All the meals were delicious. Our dining experience was wonderful and I sure we will return.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AM
