  • "Clyde's never disappoints! Great food, great service, great ambiance. Comforting after a long day at work."

  • "I thought the crab cakes were underseasoned. While the mustard aioli wa good I felt they need a little more flavor. "

  • "Went to Clyde's for our 19th Anniversary. Reservation through open table and seating was great. Service was great. Food was good but a bit salty for our taste. Restaurant offered complimentary dessert because it was our anniversary (very nice touch)."

  • "Good, basic food, a step for sure than tavern/pub food."

  • "This was my girlfriend and I first time dinning at Clyde's and will NOT be our Last. Our reason for choosing Clyde's is because we where told Clyde's have excellent food and service. Our server Elisebeth was great overall we loved our experience and would recommend Clyde's in Reston to anyone who wants great good and service"

  • "Clyde's locations are usually top notch, and Reston is no exception! Great service and food in a relaxed atmosphere, a change of pace from so many quick lunch choices!"
    Dined on 4/9/2014
  • "There was a VERY loud table near us, and it made conversation difficult about half way through our meal."
    Dined on 4/1/2014
  • "Clyde's has always been my go-to choice for consistently good food. But this was my first visit to the Reston franchise and I was very disappointed. The waitress had no knowledge of the wines they served and tried to fake her way through 'helping' us select. My entree (grilled rockfish) was overdone and dry. The accompanying vegetables were seriously undercooked and wooden tasting. My friend's trout was overpowered by its coating and her vegetables were likewise inedible. Not going back and will not recommend."

  • "Our family enjoyed Sunday brunch at Clyde's because of its excellent menu, great ambience and efficient service. A wide variety on the menu allowed everyone to find a delectable entree despite diet idiosyncrasies. The ambience with old model planes mounted on the ceiling on one side and sailing ships on the other contributed to conversation as d the carpet kept the noise down. Would recommend this restaurant."
    Dined on 3/30/2014
  • "Clyde's continues to meet my expectations in providing a great dining experience. My only negative comment is the noise level is too high. My server on the 30th was awesome!"
    Dined on 3/30/2014
  • "I'm sorry. I have had excellent meals at Clydes, and the food and service has always been outstanding. However, the noise level is well beyond the conversation level. There were large groups waiting for tables and nothing between them and our table. Add to this the overactive bar, a birthday party adjacent to our table and the noise level was over the top. I had to shout to my dinner companion to be heard and I only understood about half of her side of a very disrupted conversation. I'll think twice the next time we go out. ."

  • "Dining at Clyde's is always a pleasure: Reliably good food, friendly service, and reasonably priced. But the Clyde's at Reston has one drawback, as far as we are concerned.. Unlike most of the other Clyde's restaurants, Reston has everyone in one large room. At lunch on Wednesday it was extremely busy - and noisy. That's something we seldom run into in the other facilities because they have several rooms and that seems to cut down on the noise factor. The aisles seem narrow, and with guests and waitstaff going up and down - well, it reminded me of an airplane when the stewards are pushing the food carts up and down, and passengers are trying to get past. Don't suppose there's a thing they can do about it!"
    Dined on 3/26/2014
  • "Food was good but not outstanding. Noise level was very high. Had an enjoyable evening despite the noise level. Service was good."
    Dined on 3/22/2014
  • "There service was great and our waiter was understanding to us and the time it took. We were on our first date and it was hard to read the menu. Thank you to our server and the staff."
    Dined on 3/22/2014
  • "Very nice environment and location for meeting friends for lunch. The service was prompt and the food was quite good."
    Dined on 3/21/2014
  • "We have been going to Clyde's for years and always enjoy ourselves - the food and staff are both great. And when the weather is nice, the patio is perfect."
    Dined on 3/21/2014
  • "The front desk operation is, and always has been, less than satisfactory. The personnel don't make eye contact or smile, they often seem out of touch with what is happening, they ignore people in line and they frequently will seat two members of the same party who arrive separatly at different tables, even if both ask for the same reservation name. The wait staff is always excellent, one you can get to your table."
    Dined on 3/20/2014
  • "Clyde's is an excellent choice when you are at the Reston Town Center. Great variety, nice ambience."
    Dined on 3/19/2014
  • "You can generally expect reasonably-priced, good food and friendly service at Clyde's and this time was no exception. Not exceptional, just good."
    Dined on 3/15/2014
  • "I would still recommend as the food is consistently good, the atmosphere is cozy, as long as you get a booth (ask for one), and can put up with noise if you go at a high volume time. Our service was very spotty, but it was the weekend of St. Patrick's day and the patio area was open, too, so we give the servers some grace."
    Dined on 3/15/2014
  • "Consistently great food and great service, but also consistently the coffee refills are lukewarm. Can probably be fixed as simply as getting modern insulated carafes."
    Dined on 3/15/2014
  • "This may have been the wrong time of year to go to Reston's Clydes. My family and me did not enjoy the food and our server was horrible. I was very surprised because I have visited this restaurant on several occasions and thought the service and food were good."
    Dined on 3/14/2014
  • "Clydes is always wonderful- good food at reasonable prices, great service, fun atmosphere. For whatever the occasion, I would recommend it. Makes for a wonderful dining experience."

  • "You can always count on good food and service at Clyde's"
    Dined on 3/11/2014
  • "The food is always excellent - seasonal, regional with some long standing options. This restaurant in Reston has wonderful outdoor dining when the weather is warmer. Service is always excellent, which is why it is one of our favorite places!"
    Dined on 3/8/2014
  • "Food was good, prepared as requested and served hot. Service was attentive but not overbearing. The restaurant was crowded and there was a high degree of bustling and aisle traffic. It was difficult (not impossible) to maintain a conversation because of the background noise. It was actually relaxing to get outside after dinner."
    Dined on 3/8/2014
  • "Noise level a little high with only average service but very disappointed with almost nothing for vegetarians!"
    Dined on 3/7/2014
  • "Food is always good and they are great at accomodating special needs."
    Dined on 3/1/2014
  • "Had a delicious Eggs Benedict with my friend and our waitress was able to split our dish as well - great experience will be back for sure!"
    Dined on 1/2/2014
  • "I got to try a Clyde's grass-fed hamburger for the 1st time. FABULOUS!! Great service too!!"
    Dined on 3/1/2014
  • "I really like this Clyde's. I know I can go there and have a positive experience, starting with the ability to make a reservation. That gets things started off right. Server was terrific and her pace was just exactly right. Drinks and food were perfect and tasty. There is good spacing between tables and I love that you can talk freely without the next table being able to hear everything you say."

  • "Great food, great décor and nice wine list. We came with a group of folks and each of us loved it! The cookies and cream dessert is sinful!! I always order roasted chicken and this one was excellent!!"
    Dined on 2/28/2014
  • "Clydes is always a good experience. Good food and service, moderate prices, great décor. But be sure to use this service to make a reservation, because without out it you will have to wait. We were wisked to our table at our reservation time, while there was a big line in front waiting for tables for people without reservations."
    Dined on 2/28/2014
  • "My mother in law loves the crab cakes. That's why we go here. Other than that...it's old news. Their pea soup was not very good... Very hulley. Tomatoe soup good. It, frankly, needs an over haul. There's too many amazing places to eat nowadays. Why settle for mediocre?"

  • "Clyde's is never great, but importantly never bad either. Good stalwart for a business lunch, or lunch with friends."
    Dined on 1/28/2014
  • "A friend was driving in from Delaware to catch an international flight from Dulles. Our schedules allowed time enough for lunch before his flight. Given the limited options at Dulles, we opted to reserve a table at lunchtime on a weekday at Clyde's in Reston -- and it worked out beautifully. The server was knowledgable, attentive but unobtrusive. Service was prompt, and we were able to eat leisurely and still have enough time to get to the airport without pressure. Food was good. Restaurant was very noisy when we arrived (1:00 p.m.) but had largely emptied out and become much quieter by about 2:15."

  • "I always enjoy dining at most Clyde's restaurants.whether for lunch, brunch or special occasion. Best on my list are the ones I frequent most : Tysons, Reston Town Center and Tower Oaks Lodge"
    Dined on 2/22/2014
  • "Service and food were very nice - Osso Buco was just average - tender but mostly bone. Others in the group enjoyed their meals. Server was attentive and quick. Reservation was on time which was appreciated on a busy Saturday night."

  • "Clydes in Reston is always a good choice and is Clydes in Ashburn. Good food, good service and good surroundings."
    Dined on 2/22/2014
  • "I am happy to see Clyde's is consistenly reading and granting my open table request for a certain seating area. We were seated immediately which is impressive considering the Reston Clyde's is always busy and this was prime dining time. ."
