The noise was on the high side, making conversation not quite as easy as we might have preferred. The service was superb, with at least 3 levels of waiters/ waitresses for our table. My mother's halibut good, but a bit dry, and my wife's oysters quite good. My chicken salad sandwich was delicious, but the bread a bit too buttered. We broke a glass in the middle of the meal, and the waiter quickly provided totally NEW platters of everything... since glass was in all of the food. Creme Brulet good but too sweet. Not rushed. It's been there for 33 years and it keeps getting better. The menu has dozens of items that are the best of their class (like the Crab Cakes). The value is high. The quality and service are consistently outstanding. The restaurant is beautiful. It may be a little hard to find the way the roads have grown and changed. When I phoned, the manager gave me his name and said that it was his pleasure to personally ensure this would take place and to let him know if we needed anything else. The restaurant additionally called earlier in the day of our visit to confirm our reservation, which was just another example of their positive professionalism and great customer service. The grade of beef chosen was not up to par for KC grade. Just stay avoid the KC steak, tough and too thin. Tysons Corner construction makes it tougher to reach but it is worth the effort. Service is always excellent and it is a good lunch choice to spend an hour with a friend. The menu is variable. I have had an excellent pumpkin ravioli which was not on the menu this time but hopefully will be again. The lentil burger was good and I appreciated being able to substitute shoestring onion rings for french fries.
