Diner Reviews
  • "Walked from penn station to Clydes. Took about 12 minutes or so. Would be a nice trip after a daytime Saturday knick game. Food was alittle pricey but very good. Appetizers were delicious. Avocado fries a must! Individual stalls in bathroom was different but we had no problem with them. We hope next time we go that Clyde will make a visit!!"

  • "Second was a charm like the first. I had the same great service and the food was even better. The flat screens full of sports was an added bonus to my dining pleasure. You can watch baseball, hockey, soccer or a fight all at the same time. GLORIOUS!!!"

  • "The atmosphere was great. I went for dinner during a Knicks game, and it was a great location to watch I the game. There must be 40 TVs with all the sports playing. Food was very good and reasonably priced for the location. Cocktail menu is awesome especially for a fan of Clyde's."

  • "We went to Clyde's as part of a NY Knicks themed weekend as a family. (2 boys 11 & 13). They are big Knicks fans and enjoy watching/listening to Clyde announce for the Knicks on TV. I was suprised that the outside of the building did not have more advertising. If you weren't looking for this place, you'd never see it. The inside was very nicely decorated with lots of Clyde references. The service was amazing and the burgers we had were big and delicious. My kids especially enjoyed the basketball foul shot room just beyond the bar. It was lunch time on a Friday and we suprisingly had it all to ourselves for over 20 minutes. The trip was complete with the purchase of a Clyde's tee-shirt. Thank you for a fun, memorable lunch!"

  • "This was one of the best restaurants I have been to in New York City. I can not say enough good things about it. The decor is amazing all about Clyde!! Very creative design. This place gives you elbow room, service was excellent the food was delicious the menu selections are unique, very fresh food. Had the wings - in the top 3 I have had, the grilled chicken sandwich with fresh mozz and roasted red peppers and Clyde's pizza were all fresh and delicious. Prices were very reasonable. T.V.'s all over to watch your favorite sports! I would definitely recommend this place and can not wait to go back for dinner!"

  • "Went to Clydes before the Knick Wizards game on Friday the 4th. The atmosphere and food at Clydes is always very good. We started with an order of the Buffalo Wings (which didn't come with either carrots or celery) which were excellent. Then m son and I both had burgers which were exceptional. Shooting baskets prior to eating is also alot of fun. Recommend Clydes wine and dine."

  • "Went here with my family to watch the Knicks game since it would have been cheaper to eat here than to go to the stadium. Food was amazing and the crowd was energetic. The service didn't get 5 stars only because our waitress didn't really check on us often but still was an excellent service. Overall a fun place to hang out eat and watch a game. All around restaurant to take the kids, have lunch, sit at the bar with a group, etc. Really enjoyed my time and will come back again."

  • "This is a great place to go to if you are going to the Garden"

  • "I loved the place. The one thing I will mention is the price. Drinks was not worth the money. If I pay $15 for a cocktail I should taste the alcohol that in it. That was the only disappointing thing. Also I would love to enjoy the place more often but the prices are high so I will leave it to a once in the blue experience."

  • "Food was fantastic. You can work off what you ate on the basketball court. Then stop at the bar to hydrate. Eat again when the drinks kick in."

  • "My son and I had a terrific meal. The service was impeccable. It was a special evening in that my son doesn't get to New York that often, and I was extremely pleased that the restaurant and the staff contributed so commendably. Thank you."

  • "I had a wonderful time with my lady. The only thing I would suggest is bigger tables for when its two guests dining. There wasnt enough space to put all the food. Thank you for an amazing 1st time experience"

  • "Exceeded expectations! The food was really good. We were also very happy how we were treated by the GM, server and back servers. All were helpful and also engaged in a friendly way with my three children that are 7 and under. Not often does a restaurant make us feel welcome once they see children. We were there during the 1st half of a Knicks game and got to meet knicks city dancers and see John Starks. So that was a big plus. We will be back."

  • "Only a couple of blocks from the convention center, a nice venue for a good meal with an energetic vibe. Upscale sports bar style food, burgers looked amazing, and menu had some nice twists. Service at lunch time was slow, however, so don't plan for a quick meal. Overall, a good experience and a nice break from Javits!"

  • "The place was great - very fun atmosphere. The only downside was the service. If there was less than one star, I would use that. It needs to improve if you are going to be successful. We only saw our waiter to take our order and needed to ask someone else for the check and then he handed it to us."

  • "Went their before a Knicks game; loved the atmosphere; very classy and vibrant energy throughout. Ordered the short ribs; they were good, not spectacular. Portion sizes were good. Staff very friendly. Overall I would definitely go back."

  • "Although our server disappeared for long stretches and my meal was covered in butter sauce even though I requested 'no butter sauce' since I don't process fat well, it is an experience not to be missed. The servers and bus people seemed very good and some of the food served to adjoining tables looked really good. Still, don't miss Clyde's. (The wine was yummy)."

  • "Great location within walking distance of MSG. Fried avocados were super as was my burger. My husband had the fajitas which were also good. Only complaint was that the person checking guest in needs to stop talking on the phone and attend to those of us who were waiting to be seated."

  • "We decided to go to Clyde's to celebrate a birthday and we had an awesome time. If you are a avid basketball/ NY Knick fan you will love it. Food and service was very good. I especially enjoyed the blackened salmon with the spinach and mashed potatoes. The place is a bit smaller than I expected and there was no BIG tv in the main dining area but overall it is a great place to have a bite to eat and watch a game. I would definitely return again."

  • "I was impressed from the moment I stepped inside. The decor is tastefully done. The service was good and the food was tasty and presented extremely well. I would recommend this restaurant especially for anyone who is attending a function at the Javitz Center."

  • "We went to Clydes restaurant to celebrate my sons 28th birthday. We got there a half hour early and one of our guests was running late. I appreciated that we were not rushed to order, that the waiter was very pleasant, he actually gave us some space and when our guest did not arrive by 6 pm, we then started ordering. The appetizers were amazing, we got a kick watching as they made the guacamole right at table side. We then ordered dinner and dessert. Everything was wonderful. I loved the background music that was playing and loved watching the tv screens and got a kick when we saw the Knicks and Mike Woodsen on the screen. Will definitely go again and will definitely refer friends and family to visit there."

  • "Food is always good here. However, we were there over an hour and for a lot of the time we were the only customers and no one came over to refill a drink or ask if things were ok. They only came over hoping we would order dessert and after declining it took way too long to get a check."
