Pleasant quiet place for lunch.
Good food & pleasant service."

Cocktails were unbelievably over
priced. Bartender made one of two incorrectly, probably from not paying attention to the order. We asked for bread and were each given one small piece. Decided not to stay for dinner. We requested a 7:30 table. We're offered 7:15 or 7:45. The restaurant was EMPTY when we arrived at 7:45. What's the game here!?! We won't be back."

We had a very good meal there over
the weekend. The food was pretty good, I rated it lower because the ambiance was average at best. There was hardly anyone in the restaruant on a Saturday night at 7."

Great duck, good and attractive
steak, good wine. A little pricy but fine for a Sat pm"

After an all day snowstorm, what a
lovely way to spend the evening! It was truly a delightful evening."

Arrived at 8 PM on MOnday night,
and unfortunately, it was almost deserted. The food was very good (including a nice amuse bouche), as was the coffee and the drinks. Service was excellent. We like the ambience."

The ambiance in this restaurant is
so wonderful, one wonders why every time I've been there, there are so few diners. One can only guess that it is the menu. Prices are high for what is offered and the quality of the food. This past visit I had a piece of sole(not Dover sole by any means) for $26.00. There was nothing else included in the entree. The sole was fairly dry and overcooked. the restaurant needs to be a "neighborhood gem" not a special occasion restaurant. But with the prices, that's what it turns out to be. Food choices are also a bit odd. Perhaps the chef really needs to take a look at what is on the menu and what the neighborhood seeks."

Decided to go here with wife for a
quiet NYE dinner and it was such a great choice! Great place, great food and great service! Will be back soon!"

My fiancee and I took my parents
and his parents out to dinner here before a show downtown. It was a great experience; knowledgeable wait staff, timely and tasty dishes... I couldn't have asked for more!"

Nice restaurant, clean, and quiet
- good for lunch meetings or out of town visitors of the nearby University or Hospitals. The food was tasty and nicely presented. My only complaint was the crusty bread and a small pad of butter to share with the table. The bread was a rock and there was not enough butter to share between 3 people."

I had lamb bolognese which was a
simplyn delicious entree, my husband ordered a steak. If you are used to steak from Flemings or Morton's - you will not like this one - skip it. Just not the same. Stick with a meal that would be French in nature and you will be fine. Waitress was wonderful, place was not very crowded for a Friday evening - got there around 815 - a little pricey but overall pretty good."

Dined her on a Friday
night..Pianist playing beautiful music, cocktails flowing...Appetizers, fish sticks were amazing! Their bread they serve is very crispy and fresh (warm rustic french bread)...Wedge Salad w/ fried egg is to die for! As for my dinner, the Braised Pork Shank blew my mind.....Delicious! Also, guests had the Lamb Bolognese and they were amazed at the dish. It was beautifully prepared pasta! The sauce was to die for! Chef Fabio Mota is an extremely talented chef. It was a pleasure meeting him! He checked on our table and made sure everything was perfect! Top Restaurant in Cleveland..a MUST!!!! Looking forward to my return..."

I took my wife to Club Isabella
for our anniversary...1st time at this restaurant. We lived in France for 3 years, so we're always "curious" how good local French restaurants are. This was a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere was romantic but chic, with a really cool bar that spanned the restaurant. Our server was great and very friendly. The food was excellent...we met Chef Fabio who studied in Paris (he's American), who is the owner and head chef. We thought it would be fun to have him create our dinner, so we decided on a price range and "5 course meal" that would allow us to taste several things on the menu, so the rest was up to him. The food and experience was fantastic and it will be an anniversary that we'll remember for a long time!"

We had not dined at Isabella for
several months, but tried it again, remembering unique food choices. Though the food was very good, our service was unacceptable. After taking drink orders, the server returned minutes later to ask us to remind him of the drink order. After describing the specials, he again disappeared. We finally motioned for him and he took our order acknowledging one appetizer and 2 entrees. After waiting more than 35 minutes, he finally arrived with the entrees. When we mentioned the missing appetizer, he told us we had not ordered it, taking no responsibility for his error. There are so many excellent dining choices in the area, there is no need to return to this one where service is an afterthought."

Every thing was great ,I love the
relaxed feeling and the good service"

It is a great location and a
teriffic interior buildout, but the food was just so-so. I was with three co-workers and we all had the same assessment of our apps, entrees and desserts. I'd go back to the bar for drinks, but I'd probably skip dinner."
Dined on 10/25/2013
We love this place! Every things
is great, food, service, The pianist."
Dined on 10/12/2013
My entree was EXCELLENT! My wife's
was also good. Service was good and we also got a taste of wine before ordering and a chef's amuse bouche. We were very well-taken care of."

We came early for dinner and had
the place nearly to ourselves for a while. The dishes are tasty and very nicely presented. Very stylish!"
Dined on 9/29/2013
Friendly staff, good creative food
in a beautifully appointed dining room. The waiter needed to check on us more often, particularly since the restaurant wasn't very crowded. I had to ask to get more water. The food is well-cooked with a variety of creative choices. I had grilled fish tacos for lunch. They were very tasty. They are good for what they do but relative to the nearby competition, there are better choices. They, however, are one of the few open on Mondays in Little Italy for lunch and are the best of that group."

Met another couple here for
dinner. Live piano music and nice ambiance. Fish was a bit fishy, but what do you want? This is Cleveland, not Boston. Service was very good. Overall a very nice dinner out."

Isabella never disappoints. Great
ambiance with piano player, terrific servers who are very accommodating, outstanding food cooked/prepared exactly as ordered."

Outstanding food with delightful
flavor, texture, and color combinations. The staff were very attentive."

Tuesday evening began with a stop
at Club Isabella! A brand new app on the menu - fish sticks. Served in a clever basket with a pleasant cornichon remoulade for dipping. The all-star entree was the Orecchiette - one of the better plates enjoyed anywhere in recent restaurant visits anywhere."
Dined on 9/11/2013
we had a small shower here for a
co-worker and they did a fantastic job. Food, service and set up were great."
Dined on 9/6/2013
On a sunny 72-degree day, this was
an ideal lunch spot. We could eat in comfort indoors, but the many wide-open picture windows gave the impression of an al fresco meal. The menu was varied and interesting. I had the crab cakes, which were very good, but came accompanied by a dark green concoction that turned out to have way too much raw garlic in it for either my palate or my wife's comfort when I arrived home that evening. She too chose to open all the windows!"
Dined on 9/5/2013
This is a beautiful restaurant
with an interesting menu. The ambience is wonderful all seasons of the year. But ,the food and drink are inconsistant. Some of the dishes we ordered were quite good and some should never have left the kitchen. We want this restaurant to survive but it won't if it continues to disapoint as it did us the other night. There are enough good restaurants to choose from to gamble on one that is not dependable when it comes to the quality that come out of the kitchen. And, stop with the weird drinks and find a bar tender that knows how to make a good basic drink!"
Dined on 8/10/2013
Even though on Monday menu was so
limited it dampened expectations for dinner. Ended up just ordering a pizza and salad, which were good enough, but expected a more robust selection of fish and meat."
Dined on 8/6/2013
Overall, the setting, food and
service were just what we were looking for in a night out. We enjoyed all aspects of the evening. Would recommend wholeheartedly to others."

I decided to treat the love of my
life for dinner to celebrate his birthday at Club Isabella. Upon entering Club Isabella, the hostess greeted him by saying "happy birthday". He was very surprised that his birthday acknowledged. We were able to select a comfortable section of the dining area by a window. Our sever went out of her way to ensure that we were aware of the types of various wines. It was great to have available an experience server. The meal and its presentation were outstanding. The music from the pianist was enjoyable. With all the special touches that were provided they helped to make his birthday special."

Innovative food in a smart
setting. Indoor and outdoor dining, even have a nice putting green!"
Dined on 6/29/2013
For a restaurant that was only 1/2
full, the service and atmosphere was horrible. This was my third time and my husbands first and due to the poor experience we will not be back and it was not b/c of the food which was good. From the completely unprofessional service at the host stand to the fact that a the lights didn't go on until 9pm - it was a train wreck. From the time we sat down until we got our drinks, that our poor server had to make, it was 48 minutes! Our amuse-bouche got to the table at an 1:10 wait, bread 1:25. Absurd considering all the tables around us were empty. The bartender openly drinking and swearing louding didn't help to produce a upscale atmosphere which I have come to expect from this place and price point."
Dined on 6/23/2013
the wait staff was overworked--the
servers kept apologizing due to lack of servers----not my problem the owner did not seem to be aware of the problem----thankfully , a beautiful evening on the patio overcame poor service and mediocre food we've been here many times and i can't remember ever having the quality of food as an issue"

Club Isabella is in the heart of
Little Italy , valet parking makes it easy access on even the busiest of weekends. The food was amazing as was the service. Great night"
Dined on 6/16/2013
Quiet enough for good
conversation. Attentive service that wasn't intrusive. Creative menu with good range of choices that fit on one page for easy perusing. Outstanding quality and presentation at very reasonable prices."
Dined on 5/21/2013
The ambience at Club Isabella is
wonderful -- piano player is just right and the staff is terrific."
Dined on 5/18/2013
Nice ambience but could have been
even better. Food was average and not worth the price. Lots of garlic, meat was a bit tough. Probably will not go back."
Dined on 5/18/2013
We love the food, bright and open
ambiance, and the piano player! Food is presented beautifully."
Dined on 5/17/2013
I have eaten here before and have
always enjoyed it. This time I dined with a large group- the service just ok, the server seemed like she very matter of fact bordering on rude or annoyed. The meals were pretty timely and overall good - though my crab cake entree read far better on the menu than it actually tasted. For a lunch close to the office (walking distance) it served its purpose, but overall I think Isabella's is far better for a drink and a nice meal with someone special."
