Cloud Nine Alpine BistroBy far, the best place inBy far, the best place in the neighborhood, especially given that you must ski or chair lift to get there. The food is topped only by the scenery and on a clear day you can see as far as the continental divide over 100 miles away. It can become quite noisy and energetic by late afternoon and even boasts a daytime disco dynamic with music, on some afternoons. Despite the tight seating and high noise level, classics such as the Raclette (order in advance) or wiener schnitzel are unsurpassed at this altitude and west of the Alps. And if you like good wines, be prepared to to give up serious skiing for the rest of the day. But If skiing, great food and wine are your thing, then Cloud Nine is as close to Nirvana as you will ever get.3/26/2013 12:00:00 AMYou can not have more funYou can not have more fun than a cloud 9 lunch in late winter/spring.
