  • "When I found out that the wine pairing for a good cause was at the clock tower ,I was ecstatic!!! I have eaten here before and remember a wonderful ambience as well as fantastic food. And as expected was delivered... For the wine pairing The table was neatly set and my glass was filled upon arrival . My boyfriend is allergic to lobster and we only let the restaurant know this as they were serving the lobster pudding, within moments they had a perfect match for the wine we were drinking that complemented the meal perfectly. The restaurants staff was very friendly and accommodating. This restaurant is definitely a gem!!!"

  • "My husband and I found this restaurant during HV restaurant week it exceeded our expectations and although there's always room for improvement (food cold, server not so friendly) we will go back."

  • "We decided to try this place during Hudson Valley Restaurant Week. We had never heard anything about it before, had no recommendations from anyone we knew, but it looked good on line. I'm so happy we took a chance. We like everything about it. The menu is interesting, the food preparation is terrific, our server was excellent, and everything was absolutely delicious. Even the butter for our bread was exceptional. We can't wait to go back."

  • "Tried the Clock Tower Grill on a whim looking for someplace different. Was very pleasently surprised at the result! The staff was great, very helpful and friendly. The menu was interesting with a number of differently prepared items (CIA training was very apparent here), and the meals we had were absolutely delicious! Would highly recomment this restaurant to anyone."

  • "We been to CTG many times and always enjoy the food. The only difficulty we usually have is in deciding what to order from the wonderful menu. Our trip during Restaurant Week was no different, with a great selection on the prix fixe menu, and respectable sized portions. The craft beer selections are always outstanding. Service was good, as usual, with one disappointing hitch during dessert. Overall, highly recommended."

  • "The only problem on Saturday night (3/15) was our waitress. She was not very friendly or accommodating and acted like it was a chore to serve us. I don't believe we were a difficult table although we were a party of 10. Aside from her attitude, we never got our second round of drinks that we ordered. When one of us complained about the cold coffee, she gave us a reason but no apology and didn't offer to heat it up. We have been to this restaurant several times which is why I chose your establishment, but my husband said that he had our waitress once before with the same attitude and they were only a party of 4. The other times we were there, the waitstaff was VERY friendly."

  • "Was traveling thru the area and looking for a nice place for dinner. Booked a table but really didn't need a reservation (we were kind of early for dinner here I think). The place does indeed have the look and feel of an old barn, but updated. We had the burgers which were very good, Hard to find this place though as it is in a business plaza. I would definitely dine here again next time we are back in the area."

  • "First time going to this place on Valentines day! It was fabulous! Me and my hubby had a great time! We ordered Lobster Ravioli and Filet Mignon and it was delish! Drinks were great also, we got Pomegranate cosmo which was very good and my husband got Jack Daniels on the rocks. It was perfectly mixed right, you know when you go somewhere and they jip you on how much liquor they put in, well this place didn't, it was perfect! It was cool, that they had LIVE Band at around 8ish. So the vibe was chill but nice and the dim lights so it made sorta romantic and the crowd was mixed ages so it was cool. A hidden gem that's close to us so pretty stoked about it. Definitely will be going back! Check it out!"

  • "What an excellent restaurant. Food was fantastic. Among four dinners we sampled the gnocchi with short ribs, New York Strip with mashed potatoes and duck breast with grits. The gnocchi were super soft, and the short ribs were incredibly tender with a great flavor. Only negative food-wise was my bread pudding was a bit mushy and underdone. The flavor was good though. We'll definitely return."

  • "We've been to Clock Tower a few times-- always a memorable meal. Glad that we're getting some great restaurants in the Brewster/Pawling area. Food is excellent-- in a comfortable environment. Can dress down or up for this place. Great service too. The only thing missing (as far as I know) is a nice Sunday Brunch! ""

  • "A gem of a find that you should definitely check out. The food is supurb, the staff professional and the atmosphere very cozy. Arrived for dinner the other evening and it happened that there was no power in the area. The staff welcomed us in to candlelight and advised they were still able to cook a great meal. It was fabulous."

  • "I brought 3 pvery fussy people here. Everything was very good and service personal & excellent. The drinks here are better than most places too. We arrived early for New Years (older people with me) and the only concern I had was the noise level of the music. Although it is great rock music for my age, it was definetely too loud for the older people and I was actually embarassed at the choice of music. I would think blues/jazz/Sinatra would have been more in line for this cozy restaurant. I was told that the music selection is their #1 compliment so... Anyway, twinkies with Baileys cream were delicious and steaks and short ribs cooked perfectly A small band was starting just as we left, in the bar area. Sounded great. Will keep in mind."

  • "Our reservation was for 12, when unexpectedly we were 18. CTG's response was "the more the merrier!" It was that warm, welcoming, & perfectly accommodating hospitality that we received all night. Our group, ages 10 to 50-something, included a Vegan, Gluten-Free, Vegetarian, and Dairy-Free guest. Our server, Heather, was sweet, patient,& knowledgeable helping my guests to pick excellent choices. The room was cozy, perfectly lit, and "It's a Wonderful Life" playing on the wall was a delightful surprise! All raved for the appetizers like Butternut Squash Gnocci, salads like the Autumn, & entrees like braised Elk, grilled Salmon, & Tagliatelli w/ scallops & shrimp. Kudos to owners Rich & Cassie, & the entire staff for a flawless evening!"

  • "We ran across this little gem pretty much by accident when we saw a special deal on or local newspaper website. We sensed we'd found a winner when we saw their herb garden out front. The menu had several unusual entries and everyone found something they were interested in (even our gluten-free/vegetarian friend!) A squash soup was rich and complex. An order of calamari was light and tasty. The pasta dishes were not overdone, nor were the meat dishes - the hamburger was done as requested (I like beef rather on the rare side). We also ordered gnocchi which had a simply amazing sauce of rib meat and an aged cheese. We promised ourselves a return trip sometime soon to try some of the other items and perhaps spend some time in the tap room."

  • "Great food. I have been to farm to table restaurants before and been slightly disappointed with the options and taste. Clocktower grille had a lot of options on the menu, all of which sounded delicious! The food was flavorful and the service was excellent.we will definitely be coming back here. Everything we had was so good. I recommend the autumn salad:)"

  • "We are new to the area and needed a place to take visiting family out to dinner. Found Clock Tower Grill on line and took a chance. So glad we did! Loved the rustic-chic décor and the classic rock music. The menu is unique and the food was wonderful. Everyone greatly enjoyed their meals. Service was fast and friendly. We will definitely be back many times to try more dishes or to relax with a drink at the bar. What a wonderful find!"

  • "Two couples visited during restaurant week. Unlike some restaurants who skimp on their specials, this one put forward their best. We all ordered an appetizer featuring a single Scallop, perfect over tiny black al dente lentils topped with A small slice of pork belly (bacon). Our meat-lover Was more than happy with the pork shank. The duck was served over cheesey grits with a Few small Brussels sprouts lightly cooked. My husband loved the very adult mac and cheese With lobster. The desserts were chocolate heaven. Service could have been slightly more attentive. The bar was well removed from dining and had A large selection of draft beers"

  • "We tried the Clock Tower Grill as a change of pace from our usual dining spots and we were not disappointed. The dining room is not overly crowded with tables. The lighting is soft in keeping with its rustic, country look and feel. The menu has a wide variety of dishes, most are traditional with a little something different added to made it special. Serving size is plenty and the menu is moderately priced. The staff is friendly and attentive but not over bearing. We have added this one to our list."

  • "Since it is Hudson Valley Restaurant week we decided to check out the listing and choose a place based on location and menu. Sob glad we picked Clock Tower Grill. We started with a fall salad and a pork belly/scallop appetizer. The salad was very fresh and the scallop and pork belly were cooked perfectly. For our entrees we had a braised short rib and turkey club sandwich. Both were excellent. Dessert was an apple crumble and chocolate creme brûlée. Again excellent. The service was very good. Knowledgeable waiters and the food was paced out nicely. Can't wait to return."

  • "Our first time visiting this restaurant. It was comfortable and looked inviting for a casual meal. The menu had a variety of dishes. I had the pork belly crostini with lentils, it was a tasty beginning. My entree was the pork shank with a wild mushroom risotto. The pork was very tender and flavorful fell off the bone. It was also quite a large portion. I was disappointed with the risotto. There was not a mushroom to be found and the consistency was too soft for my liking. My husband had the scallops, he enjoyed his with no complaints. We ended with the chocolate mousse. Though there was few misses I think it's definitely worth another visit to try some other dishes especially when they are not dealing with the restaurant week surge."
