"Great food, inventive preparation and preparation, to the point that an explaination of what was sitting on the plate in front of us would have been helpful. I sat very close to the person at the table next to my group, something that surprised me at this price point. Just might be the deal breaker that would keep me from going back."

"We had the surprise seven course tasting menu and all courses were excellent. The sashimi, followed by salad that was well cooked and delicious, super sea urchin and lobster cassoulet, monk fish, the obligatory fois gras slotted (very good with rhubarb), and finally 36 hours slow cooked in root beer beef that fell apart and melted in the mouth. The selection of American cheeses was great, just right for us (although somebody else may have wanted different cheeses and we were not given a choice). Dessert rounded up an excellent evening.
The lack of US wines by the glass was a bit disappointing but otherwise the wine list is very good - not too large.
In all an excellent place - highly recommended, but not for a romantic evening - noisy."
