The unique history of the building is worth the visit even if you don't want to eat. I had the baked eggs which was cooked perfectly, and my fiance had the french toast which was great as well. My friend had scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and burrata cheese and enjoyed the dish as well. We shared a fresh fruit bowl which was refreshing. The hosts were very friendly and accomodating. Our server was fine but rushed us quite a bit, dropping the check 3 bites into our breakfasts. He made sure to replenish our coffee in a timely manner, but the fact that we were so rushed put a damper on the morning. We do still look forward to returning to Clink, specifically for the delicious menu options.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMOur table was ready on timeOur table was ready on time and the service was helpful and friendly. The brunch menu was unique & tasty, and they offer a self-serve Bloody Mary bar (instead of the typical omelet bar for brunch.) Our kids (4 and 6) were pleased with the children's menu as well. The food was out of this world delicious and the staff was very attentive. They have a nice selection of tasty cocktails (which are a little pricey, but worth it)and the restaurant was very quiet for the number of people dining there. I'm getting a bit tired, however, of the negative attitude of waiters during Restaurant Week and many restaurants, and ours was no exception - perhaps worst than most. At least make an attempt to smile once?! I always make it a point to overtip during Restaurant Week, knowing that the waiters are making less than usual. I'm not necessarily looking for a huge bargain -I just want to try something new. Because of the food and ambiance, I will return to this restaurant, though if I were to base it solely on the attitude of the waiter, I would not.3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMThe seafood chowder was outstandingThe seafood chowder was outstanding. The lunch was fair - pasta, sausage and broccoli in my case. The dessert was very good, lemon zest ice cream and a lemon poppy muffin, nice and warm. Two out of three was not bad!!!
