I was able to easily make reservations through Open Table and was happily surprised that complimentary valet services were offered.
My boyfriend and I were warmly greeted by all, the food was AMAZING and it really felt like a special night out. My boyfriend remarked at the end of the meal that dollar for dollar, the Cliff House was some of the best "fancy" food we'd had and we take advantage of 5280 and Boulder Bites each year.
The amuse bouche of strawberry mousse and smoked duck was amazing and only second in flavor to my wonderful filet mignon with honey/horseradish mashed potatoes. The service was impeccable from the moment we arrived with just the right touch.
The food was all that we had been led to expect from reviews we has read. The wine list took you breath away, particularly looking at the prices!

The Cliff House was by far our favorite find. The ambience is wonderful and the chef's talent lived up to the ambition of the menu. There were 10 of us, so they gave us a lovely private room. The staff was very accommodating and when one of the dishes arrived overcooked, the manager handled it as professionally as one could hope. If we ever find ourselves in Manitou Springs again, Cliff House will be a must on our itinerary. It we were greeted and congratulated on our anniversary celebration. The entire staff was professional and extremely kind. The food was phenomenal!! I had bacon wrapped elk and my wife had the sirloin. everything was perfect. Ahi Tuna appetizer left us wanting more of it it was delicious. The Creme Brulee trio was my wife's favorite.
