"We had a great meal at Cleonice. The food was great and our waitress was awesome. We did not have to ask for a thing! The only item that I would say bothered me about our experience which is why I am at a less than perfect "scoring" is that our table was right next to the kitchen and it was very loud and distracting. For example, we could hear the garbage disposal running when it was turned on. Next time we go back, we will specifically ask for a booth so that we are put in this environment."

"Pricey and good for northern Maine but not up to its online rating of five stars. Organic chicken at nearly $26 is still chicken at $26. Vege risotto was flavorful but heavy with unimpressive presentation. Paella unexciting with undercooked clams and over cooked shrimp and dry sausage. Delightful house salad and wine choices with main dishes. Nice ambience. NOT for foodies but still the best around."

"We had the hangar steak w/ frites, the steak was tough and the frites were actually chips... a technical disappointment. The risotto was starchy and bland. The sauteed greens were marvelous. The mashed potatoes were pretty good. The chocolate truffle, gelato & ice cream was heaven."
