The waitress was very professional in offering choices and giving us adequate time to make our choices. We were weekending in Warrenton and found Claire's through OpenTable. Taking a chance, we made reservations. I ordered the beet salad and Spring Risotto. Both were outstanding. The risotto was some of the best I have ever eaten, cooked perfectly. My husband's salad and filet mignon were equally delicious. We tried to get brunch reservations for the next day but unfortunately they were booked. If we are ever in that area again, Claire's will be our restaurant of choice.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding Small Town LandmarkClaire has remodeled the old train station into a sleek, comfortable restaurant with enough original features to be charming. The food is always good, with great variety, and comprehensive menu. The wine list is "good enough". Beautiful patio and yard, not too loud. Kids are welcome, but people tend not to bring them. There is a nice bar scene, but not boisterous. Groups can be accommodated, but it's largely tables of two to four. Easy parking steps from the door. A favorite locally. The number of diners was fine and noise only moderate but parking was a real challenge and only because Warrenton is a small town we could park blocks away.

We have ordered both off the menu as well as the specials and all were outstanding. The staff is professional and attentive. My partner was not clear about her order and the server was so gracious and changed it after it had arrived at the table. The manager treated her to dessert as she had to wait.
