This was my first time dining at this restaurant. It's a nice location, right off the freeway. The food and service was excellent. The steaks were by far the highlight of the night. My husband and I both ordered filets and they were mouth-watering, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The mousse/torte chocolate pie was also great. The rolls, salads and side dishes along with the steak dipping sauces capped off a perfect night. The bar area was packed and very lively. Overall great dining experience, would go back there again.

After reading all the reviews, we wouldn't have tried this place, but since we had a coupon we did. There were open reservations all night per OT so we didn't make reservations. The host claimed there were NO tables open in the dining room (it was 6:45) that evening. I stood in front of him, opened up my app and clicked on a reservation for 7.00. He still said there were no tables (clearly there were at least 10 from where we stood), but just took his direction to eat in the bar. Still hesitant (and believing the reviews), we continued on w/ dinner. My husband ordered the strip and I the filet. All were outstanding including the service. We were VERY pleased with our experience (aside from the host's misdirection and cluelessness).

the prime rib was poor, although the meat was medium & little pink as requested, it was chewy, I had to cut some for my wife because cutting it hurt her wrist. Was reasonably priced, if you don't enjoy it or hard to chew then not a plus. Better to charge a little more & have excellent quality of prime rib so we can tell others we found a nice restaurant & great prime rib. Also, the broccolini was a little hard, undercooked. The AYCE prime rib is not a great thing since after one has finished the small amount of mashed potatoes & veggie who wants to just eat a plate of meat? Probably won't return due to noticing on the menu that seafood entrees don't include sides. When we got in the car we both said we didn't enjoy dinner at all.

We were one of three other couples on a Saturday evening at 8 p.m. Waitress was not attentive, did not fill water or coffee except when it was first poured. Didn't bring a steak knife for my husband; buy the time he got one his prime rib was almost cost. My lasagna was cold upon getting it and she didn't come back to check on how things were so I couldn't even say it was cold. I didn't eat it. Was disappointed in the quality of food and the service. Breakfast was actually better because it was buffet-self service.

While our server was very attentive and did a very good job, the food was subpar and overpriced. My filet was rubbery and grey. My husband had the "all you can eat" prime rib special and enjoyed it, but was not overly impressed. The mushrooms we ordered as a side were not cooked properly and our server very nicely took them off our bill without our even asking. The salads were boring - greens, two grape tomatoes, two slices of cucumber, two slices of onion and some dressing. Very unappetizing. The bread basket had EXACTLY two pieces of bread with two pats of butter to accompany it. The pecan ball for dessert was good and we enjoyed it. The food is not terrible, but it is definitely overpriced for the quality.

I recently booked this restaurant located at Quail Hollow Golf Resort in Painesville for dinner following a 36 hole day at Little Mountain CC and Painesville CC with three buddies. It worked out good for 4 tired golfers, but probably wouldn't recommend it for groups looking for a hopping atmosphere. Food was good and service was very acceptable.

Food good even though I received the wrong order. Never received a wine list. Saw more of the Water girl than we did of our waitress who kept disappearing and bringing us back the wrong food and drinks. I would of been empathetic if they were busy but the place was practically empty. I would go back for the food but if I saw that waitress again I'm out the door.

Our dinner Saturday night was short of being memorable. My main concern and I mentioned it to my wife at dinner was the quality of my $32 strip steak. I left about 10 bites of hard gristle after taking some bites. The steak just wasn't quality as one would expect at that price. It was more like a steak one would get at Golden Corral. The vegetables were broccolini and unappealing to the eye. I ate mine but my wife didn't eat hers.

I was hoping that we finally found a steakhouse that could cook steaks. It was not to be. My husband had a bone-in rib eye and I had the filet, both were ordered medium. They were cooked to within an inch of their lives. Totally well done. They did give us a free dessert to compensate but I wanted a good steak.

Why can't they update the dining room, hire experienced servers that show they really like their job, and do something about their terrible wine list The new chef won't have a chance to succeed because the environment won't allow that. Too bad. Close to home, I've been going there consistently for 7 years, but no one listens to feedback. When I first visited there, they had a real vibe going on with a wine steward, kick butt wine list, reasonable prices and great food. What happened?

The rolls were hard and other tables were saying the same thing. My wife's steak came out raw and she asked for medium well. The waitress took it back right away and they finished cooking it. My stuffed trout had very little flavor. Don't waste your money here!

I made the reservation on line for Sunday evening July 6 . I was not told that the dining room was not open on Sunday night due to the extended brunch on Sunday am. It was ok to be the only ones in the dining room but not exciting fun or special. I felt like "left-overs. Bree, our server was super but still and all we were an add on. The meal was average salad just ok, the bake potato was from days ago. 85 dollars and a $20 tip later we said good- bye and I do not plan a return trip for quite a while,

We were there for the Saturday night all you-can-eat prime rib. My husband ordered that, and he was satisfied with his meal. I ordered the chicken Toscana and thought that was tasty as well. Our son had to send back his steak filet because it was rare and he ordered medium. The waitress came back with another one after my husband and I had already finished eating. So, a family dinner wasn't really spent together. Disappointing. The waitress was too slow with about everything, and the atmosphere was more of a board room with tacky, dated nick knacks on the wall. It was a depressing atmosphere-- dark and dated. We were offered free desserts and had their delicious cheesecake. So, good food--horrible atmosphere and service.

I love that CK's has included a salad with the prime rib special on Saturday evenings. Makes for a fuller stomach. The prime rib, however, is hit and miss. This past time was not too bad, however on my previous trip, it was very fatty and hardly any meat on it. Definitely had to have a second piece. Potatoes were also very dry and hardlike.

We had a very good experience at CK's. Service was excellent, and very accommodating. The best thing, however, was the Chef's specialty soup - Creole Onion. Think of French Onion soup jazzed up with bacon and lots of flavor. I will return just for this soup, it was that amazing.

We arrived early and were seated right away, which was great! But then it took a very long time to even be recognized, let alone get a drink. We order an appetizer, fried ravioli, which was good, but took entirely too long to arrive. At this point we still hadn't gotten our bread or our drinks. Our steaks were just ok,, nothing really fantastic and the lobster tail that I added on was cold and rubbery. Our server was hard to find for the whole meal. Again---really disappointed because we expected sooo much more!!

Our reservations were for 6pm- while I did ask our waitress to hold our food till 7pm we did not end up getting our food to well after 8:15. I had to ask her when are we going to be served. Also, everyone at my table got their salads mine did not come out till 10 mins later. I really felt that the service was slow and I don't think it was just our table. I had plenty of time to observe other tables and many other patrons had the same issues.

My husband and I were looking for a close to home restaurant for a "date night" that we hadn't been to before. CK's was a surprisingly great find. Excellent food, interesting menu, and attentive staff. Would definately recommend this to friends and family for a relaxing night out. The only downside was that due to it being a Sunday night, staffing was low, and we had to be seated in the bar. There were several men watching a game on tv and they would yell out, disrupting the atmosphere. Other than that, a fun place to go for a night out.

I was pleasently surprised with the quality of all of the dinners that were ordered at our table. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the lamb was really good as well. I felt it was a little pricy but when compared to the quality of the dinner the food was worth it. I would go back again! the ambiance is definetly that of a hotel restaurant nothing really to be desired.

We choose the lounge -v- the restaurant as there were only 12 people in the restaurant. The lounge had live music and we felt this would be livelier. The food was excellent however, the band only played ballads and kept asking people to get up and dance, hard to do to ballads. The most energetic part of our evening was an argument between the bartender and a server.
