"The service at CityGate Grille was great. Our server was very attentive. I do want to mention that this was Easter Sunday and it was very busy. I would like to return here on a non-holiday. I think the food may be much better. I am not sure if they have done buffets before or not, but many items were overcooked while sitting on a buffet line. For instance, there were potato wedges that were as hard as rocks and inedible and the eggs benedict was topped with an egg whose yolk was that of a hard boiled egg. However, the seasoning on items was good. I think it may have been a lack of knowledge as far as cooking to feed masses and the intracacies of having food sit on warmers."

"We've been 3 times now, both as a couple and with our 3 children. I've been impressed each time. The food and service are excellent. Me and my wife both enjoyed our food, and ALL of my kids liked theirs, as well. This is a rare find, where both the adults and kids are happy, without having to make trade-offs. I highly reccomend CityGate Grille!"

"This restaurant is somewhat off the beaten track and is very nicely furnished. It has a good selection of bar food and entrees, inlcuding a fairly priced array of pasta-based meals. I ate a the bar and had a very tasty tortilla soup. The Mediteranean salad was very good and the gentlemen next to me tried 4 different flat breads and seemed to thoroughly enjoy (and finish) each. The humus plate is plentiful with 3 different choices accompanied by some olives, but nothing about it was distinctive. I thought some of the entrees were highly priced ($32 and up), but did not see their size. There is a nice, but small (6) selection of draft beers with a mix of established and microbrew selections. I will visit this restaurant"

"Great atmosphere! Live music while enjoying dinner. And a very broad menu selection. My meal was not prepared to my expectations (potatoes were cold and steak was over cooked), but there was enough potential with the restaurant I would surely give it another try."

"We had a nice dinner with the family. I'm a big fan of the steak flatbread along with the ceaser salad. My wife ordered the filet and split with our son while my daughter really enjoyed the chicken with penne pasta. The mashed garlic served with the flat bread when you sit down is a nice new touch - don't recall this from prior visits."
