City Square Cafegreat for train watchers!Went to the City Square Cafe for Mother's Day Brunch. Even on this busy day, the service was great, the food was very good and the ambience was very nice and laid back. it was a definite plus that we train fans were seated right by the tracks, so we could enjoy the passenger trains as they whizzed by. They were nice enough to put us in the back so our 2 year old wouldn't "bother" the other diners. The service was excellent and the food was amazing, as always. I also appreciated that the restaurant contacted us a few days ahead of time to confirm our reservation and they were ready for us when we arrived, no wait. They did a nice job of scheduling the tables, we weren't on top of each other. The Cafe was prompt with our orders and the food was good! No complaints! We hope to go there again next year for Easter. If the weather is good, we'll sit outside. This year we sat inside due to rain.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AM
