Not that bad for a saturday evening. We had a nice table for two in the main area with almost every table in sight taken. Our drink order was taken promptly and shortly after another server took our dinner order. We began with a ceasar salad and lettuce wedge from the ala carte menu. Both were fresh and tasty. My wife enjoyed her main of the horseradish encrusted filet which was prepared to a perfect medium well. I had the duck breast which was delicious. We split a side of creamed spinach which we both enjoyed. The wine list was as extensive as I expected and the wine we selected was very good. The food was also excellent. It's a bit loud and crowded, we went on a Saturday night. However it makes you feel like you're a part of a great vibrant scene. The new menu items, with some old favorites, is delicious, flavorful, and downright perfect. We went on a pretty busy night so service was slightly slow, but overall everything was great.

It's lively, like being in a Manhattan restaurant; the food is GREAT, and the service is extremely friendly and professional. When my friends asked where we should go for dinner I mentioned City Cellar. What everyone liked was that the menu had something for everyone. Each dish was so enjoyable, down to my friends mac and cheese to my lamb with ragu. We were oooooooooooooohing and ahhhhhhhhhing and dipping into each others meals. Our waitress "Stephanie" took the time to explain the white wine offerings after I related to her what I would like. Everyone around us appeared happy,content and enjoying the evening.
