First time to dine at City Cafe, looked it up on Open Table while in Dallas on business. A good friend and I met there for dinner. He's a local Dallas guy who was unaware of City Cafe. He's a "particular" diner, with some food allergies, and the kitchen was VERY accommodating to his requests.
Our food was fresh, perfectly prepared and plated. The wines by the glass were impressive and very well thought out.
A business associate of my friend was having dinner with his wife, they have been regulars at City Cafe for years. They had nothing but great things to say.
I enjoyed our evening, we never felt rushed, and had a great dinner.
