Citrus GrillhouseThis is a fantastic restaraunt,This is a fantastic restaraunt, right on the ocean, with tables outside and several inside that overlook the beach. The prices are what you'd expect for an upmarket restaraunt in a vacation town, but they also offer an Early Bird Prix Fixe menu consisting of a salad and main course for 17$ or add dessert for 20$ (with an additional discount in summer since it's the off-season!). Everything we ordered was fantastic, but you MUST try the French Fries with Truffle Butter- unbeleivable! There is even a kid's menu. A present for my wife's birthday had been delivered earlier that day, and it was presented by the manager just at the right moment. The soft shell crab, the fire roasted squid, and the scallops were all wonderful, and the heirloom tomato and mozzarella with basil pesto was one of the best I have tasted outside Italy.5/28/2013 12:00:00 AMSnobbery?We have eaten here like 12 times at least, maybe more. We always make a reservation days in a dance, and we always request a window table, and we always reserve for 5 PM when the place is empty and quiet and service is best. Despite all this, 2 or 3 times, the hostess has tried to seat us at tiny little tables that are frankly awful. This happened on Sunday, and I had to say "no, I want to sit THERE." The hostess said we could not sit by the window, because it was taken "by a special request". So, we sat one table from the window. Needless to say, no one ever sat at the window table for the next 90 minutes.
Service was great, food was great.
This is the 3rd time the hostess has been rude.

The grilled salad was fantastic and my pappardelle pasta was surprisingly delicious. My husband's steak was a little disappointing. The key lime pie was one of the best I've eaten. Sitting on the terrace having a wonderful meal was so special. Each different thing we tried (we shared some of everything) was amazing and our waiter was so very helpful and really knew not only the menu but how things were made and with what ingredients.

It was a great find and restaurant and can't wait to go back. Everything was amazing on the menu and we were able to bring our own wine for a small corkage fee. In the end they took the fee off the bill. Wes our waiter was so professional yet had fun with us during service. The food was fantastic, fresh and just the right amount. I had the lamb and my husband had the chicken...it is pricey but in the end you pay for value. The service on the other hand was lacking. We sat for 15 min. After the table was bussed and then had to catch the eye if our waiter in order to get the bill! We decided at that point not to get dessert because who knew when we would get out of there! We arrived early so the restaurant was just beginning to fill by the time we left. Usually the outside tables are crowded and with the weather being chilly, the weather being cold no one wanted this option. The steak was excellent as was the pasta with rock shrimp. The flounder was okay, and was a lot thicker than the flounder we normally get.
