Citrus Bistro is a French - Mediterranean restaurant which specializes in Seafood.
We also offer several steaks, rack of lamb and specialty desserts all made in-house.
Our main dining room can seat 80 guests and offer outside seating for 40 to 60 guests, our private Chef Table can seat up to 17 guests . We have a Bar-lounge, guests can Orders at the bar too. Citrus Bistro offers full bar services

  • "The restaurant is not exactly in the best place and I could see my wife kind of scoffing at the exterior, but once we made it inside, her expression and expectations totally changed. We had a musician playing near us, but it wasn't too loud. The food was delicious and drinks were relatively priced for that type of restaurant. Waitstaff was superb!"

  • "When this restaurant moved from Royal Lane to Collyville, the North Dallas neighborhood went into mourning. I had the occasion to visit the new location and found nothing had changed. The fix cost dinner was excellent and reasonable. The food was perfect. The wine list was excellent including both value based and high end varieties. It is good to know that Citrus has maintained its uniqueness and quality. And finally, the date cake from an old family recipe remains the high point of the evening in an evening of superlatives. I will return even though it is a 45 minute drive."

  • "My wife and I really enjoyed Citrus Bistro. It is tucked in the back of a strip mall. Decor had a nautical theme, white tablecloths. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Food is outstanding. Menu has a lot of interesting items. Wine list with many interesting choices at reasonable prices. I had a truffle pate to start, which was fabulous. My entree was an Idaho Ruby trout with sriracha beurre blanc. Perfectly prepared and the sauce was inventive and very nicely complemented the fish. The surprising part of the evening was the entertainment, a very talented vocalist accompanying himself on keyboard that literally had the audience on their feet by the end of the evening. Overall, this is an awesome place!"

  • "If you like seafood and/or French food, this is the place to go. My wife had the Bronzini, a type of fish, and it was delicious. The portions were geneous and it was cooked to perfection. The vegetables were also cooked just right. I had the Chilean Sea Bass and it, too was delicious. The best treat of the night was the Date Cake. It's made with Dates and is very moist and light. I would recommend this dessert to anyone who enjoys eating."

  • "I do not usually right reviews and don't ever complain. I paid the bill without complaint, but my wife and I showed up on Valentines to discover that the dining room was overstuffed. We were literally in the conversations of the people around us (that might have been the highlight of the evening) The people on our left were there for over an hour before their order was taken. The ones on our right could not get refills of water. We received the third course of our meal almost two hours after we arrived, yet it was still before the second course. At over $100 a plate this was not acceptable. Had a good night with my wife, but the restaurant was a great disappointment. Would have been better off at Applebee's."

We sat for over an hour before we had any of our food served. The waiter was not at all attentive, the owner and busboys served us. The tuna appetizer was very good, salads good, lobster bisque very thin, entrees ok, desserts good."

Also tried some of the other items mentioned in the review. Both of us were delighted and pleased that the review did not stear us wrong. We were also impressed with our friendly, efficient waiter who was able to answer all our questions about menue items and did not seem bothered to have to educate us. All in all, it was a most pleasant experience and we have since recommended it to several freinds."

The reviews about the must have bundt cake were an understatement. It is worth every savory bite. I could go there just for the bundt cake. I was celebrating a friend's birthday and she was so excited about the rack of lamb she forgot to take a picture as she desired and tried to capture one after eating half the rack that was scrumptious."

  • "On our third visit, the food continued to be outstanding and is definitely the highlight. This was New Year's Eve and a price fixe menu which, at $85 per person, was a bit high. However, I would have gladly paid that for the food if the service had been decent. It was busy so we expected things to be slow but not for the wait staff to be snobbish and borderline rude. When we asked a question about a menu item, they acted as if we should know and then gave an explanation that provided no insight into the dish. To do a hand wave and say it is outstanding does not explain specifically to a customer what to expect. The service was good on our first trip but has deteriorated significantly in subsequent visits."

The brie soup nearly put me in "briehab" - it was that good! The watermelon salad is divine and at our most recent outing, the monk fish was done to perfection as was my father's pork chop. If you are looking for a little jewel of a french bistro in the heart of Colleyville, look no further - this place shines like a diamond!"

The Brie soup had very good flavor but the stuffed shrimp tasted like something frozen from Sam's Club. My niece enjoyed her fish dinner and I was wishing I had ordered the same. Very disappointing! We shared the date cake for dessert and while it was ok, it didn't live up to it's build up either. Probably won't go back."

  • "In the bedroom community of Colleyville, Texas is a mid-cities gem of a French restaurant. From the salmon gallantine to the midori duck to the date cake, the food is uniformly excellent presented in an appealing plate display. The wine list ranges from the moderate to the expensive and contains numerous bottles of French wines at reasonable prices as well as a full range of the normally available California wines. Especially notable on our last visit was the mixed seafood en croute appetizer and the garganzola encrusted beef tenderloin. The date cake for dessert is a "cannot miss." It sounds heavy and ponderous, but is as light as a feather with a superb anglaise sauce to accompany. Service is prompt and friendly but unobtrusive."
