This was our 2nd brunch. We wish this restaurant was closer to us. We live in Castle Hills so it is a 20-25 minute drive but worth it. The people who work there and own it are so friendly and service way above average. It is a very international staff. The food is delicious and the price quite reasonable.

This was our second visit to the Citrus Bistro and the experience was excellent both times. The menu selections are varied and the food is excellent while remaining affordable. I selected my courses from the 4 course dinner menu and the others in my party ordered off the regular menu. Everything commented that their food was delicious. The Date Cake dessert was a huge hit with everyone in our party! I would definitely recommend this restaurant for those who wish to have a dining experience that is above and beyond the norm.

We went on a Monday and for awhile we were the only table so it was quiet (dead). The food was very good. We started with Shrimp Bisque and Brie Soup and both were tasty. I had Black Drum Fish and my husband had a fish called Walu. Both were cooked very well, moist and lots of flavor. We will go back and eat there again but maybe on a T/F or Sat. Staff did say they have a popular Sunday brunch.

The sole came from Dover some time ago. It was not properly de-boned. The crab cocktail was terrific. Service was superior. The alleged musical entertainment was awful. I changed my dessert order but the computer billing system did no adjust my bill for the lower price of my changed order--I just paid the higher amount without comment. Ambiance is every good--it is nice to see a tablecloth again. My wife thought her fish and salad were excellent. Shall give it another try early in the week when there will be no "entertainment" and will try a different main course.

I'm always looking for good restaurants for business meetings throughout the Metroplex. I found Citrus Bistro through OpenTable because I needed a lunch restaurant in the Colleyville area, and it was highly rated. We found the food and service to be excellent, the ambiance was upscale and comfortable, and the noise level was moderate which made it easy to carry on a meaningful conversation -- all ingredients I look for. When I need a place in Colleyville I'll be back, and I can recommend it for others.

We used to love Citrus Bistro when it was in Dallas. We thought it would be fun to drive to Colleyville to celebrate our Anniversary. We were starting to have second thoughts because it was a long drive, but construction on SH 183 is complete and we could drive 70 most of the way. We were not disappointed with the food or the service...it was like being reacquainted with an old friend.

We went to this restaurant after reading other reviews from it. They were right. The food is excellent and worth trying something you've never thought of. Our server, Lamce, was so helpful and friendly. There is live music, a guitarist, which was pleasant but a little loud which made the whole place loud. Overall, it was a great experience. We will be back.

We've been wanting to try this place for over a year, and just never found the right time. We live very close by and gave it a try last weekend. We had an early reservation so when we arrived it was practically empty. We stopped at the bar for drinks and had a great conversation with the bartender Michael. He was very friendly and made a great martini. Dinner was great. Our server was Lance and he took very good care of us. As the evening progressed, the dining room was mostly full. Judging by the atmosphere and reactions, I think everyone was enjoying the food and atmosphere. The date cake is not to be missed. Very enjoyable. We will certainly be back.

They need to update their website. We booked a table for lunch on a Saturday, only to find when we arrived that they had instituted a brunch only option on Saturday. Since we were not looking for brunch-type food we left without eating. Very disappointed. Since we could not dine, but I thought this note was important I rated the restaurant an average 3 stars.

This is an excellent restaurant! The food is done in a very classic french style and the flavors are spot on! Our server, Lance, was friendly and knowledgeable without being intrusive. The owners were visible in the dining room checking on the patrons and were very kind and accommodating to special requests. One of the most elaborate and wonderful restaurant week menus we've seen. We look forward to eating here again in the future and trying other items off of their regular menu. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here and would recommend it to anyone!

We celebrated our anniversary here. French food is one of my favorites, so I was really excited about trying Citrus. The steak was tender (but not hot), and the service was great, but those are the only real positives I can offer. The salads were an attempt, but didn't make it, with 2 halves of a grape tomato on top of lettuce. No exaggeration. We shared a creme brûlée, which wasn't the smooth texture one would expect. The decor was pretty bad - but that's not the reason people return to a restaurant. The dishes need to be improved upon greatly. I'd say this would be a good place to meet people for lunch, not for a romantic dinner.

While not a bad meal, we were definitely not wowed for a meal in the price range. Cute place and menu was promising but for a restaurant that calls it self French/ Mediterranean the dishes were surprisingly bland. Crab cakes were very plain , Sole Dynamite was ok but a bit overcooked on the edges, Veal Saltimbocca was average but this is supposed to be a seafood restaurant so maybe not the best menu choice. Could be it was just a bad night in the kitchen or maybe just not the best dishes on their menu but we were very under whelmed and for us there are better options in this price range.

Our food was delicious and all six in our group enjoyed their meals. Lacking was enough wait staff. Our waiter had far too many tables to serve. Thus after taking initial drink order there was no offer to refresh beverages. Also, perhaps more kitchen staff needed. Very long wait between courses. Food, when it arrived, was hot, tasty and beautifully plated.

this was a very nice suprise for a local neighborhood restaurant. The food was delicious and the waiters attention and friendliness was good too. Music was very very nice but a bit too loud in such a small room. My only complaint is that when our other party arrived before us he was told we did not have a reservation yet I had a confirmation number from open table....a bit embarrassing. we were well accommodated and enjoyed the evening .

After reading all the great reviews I expected way more. The crab cake was very plain. The tomato soup was more like spaghetti sauce although both mine and my wifes entrees were quite good. For dessert we had crème brulee which we order almost everywhere that has it, and it was very average. We wanted chocolate mousse as well but they were out of it despite not being busy at all & having it one of 3 desserts on the restaurant week menu so we also tried the "date cake" which was a bit better than the crème brulee but didn't wow us. All of this and it took us over 2 hours to eat when there were only 4 occupied tables (including us) in the entire place! Overall it wasn't horrible but we wouldn't go back again.

Citrus Bistro has a very diverse menu and has options for even non-seafood types. The service was great, we were quickly seated and cared for throughout our dining experienced. Our server was familiar with the menu and a great help on providing direction for our selections based upon our interactions. The live Jazz band was great, the atmosphere was inviting and upscale and still somewhat casual. Most importantly the food was spectacular. For my family, this is not a cheap meal. However, for the quality of the food and what you get, it is definitely a bargain. If you are looking for inexpensive mediocre food, this is not for you. If you are looking for great food at a fair price, you will love this place.

Although this has been open for 9 months, we just heard about it last week from our son who had a great experience there. We went Monday evening and had a wonderful meal of salmon ceviche, poached salmon and seared sea bass with curry sauce. The waiter recommended a wonderful bottle of french white burgundy and was very engaging during the evening. The (French) Chef came by the table to check on things, all in, it was a great evening. We will definitely go back, they have a piano player on Friday and Saturday nights.
