I wasn't really sure what to expect, but the service and food exceeded my expectation. 4 courses of delicious desserts and a glass of port was served. Unfortunately, I happen to be gluten intolerant. The staff was wonderful and brought me a mojito on the house. On top of that, they brought me 3 courses of ice cream. Everyone was so nice and attentive. My friend enjoyed her birthday desserts. I went on a week night and it was during Silicon Valley Restaurant week. I did order form the prix fixe menu. The choices were great. The onion soup was delicious. The flat iron steak was cooked & seasoned perfectly and the donut hole dessert was delicious. Service was very good. The restaurant was not busy while I was there so I was not rushed and had time to chat with friends and relax. They started us off with a fun amuse-bouche and a refreshing hamachi sashimi/hearts of palm salad which nicely prepared your palette. We ordered the diver scallops, which were cooked perfectly with a nice crust. My guest ordered the bison, which was good and lean, but I enjoyed my Kobe beef special much more since it was richer in flavor. The food and service are excellent. We tried several things and liked them all. I loved how calm and peaceful it was there. I hate going out to eat and having to shout to be heard.
