Scallop and crab cake appetizers were exceptional as were the Bronzini and Snapper entrees. Order the oxtail with aioli slaw appetizer- incredibly good despite how it might sound. A dessert described as a kind of cheesecake was not appreciated by the child who ordered it, but the adults at the table practically fought over it. It was 2 of us for dinner and we dined outside on the patio on the river. We were going to a Play so we had a good hour and half but would suggest 2 hours to really take your time and enjoy. The staff are very attentive to your time and what you want to do, in accordance to having your food on time.
We had the appetizers, crab cakes (fabulous) and the rock shrimp (fried and tasty). Then for the entrees we both had the Beef Filet. Delicious! The presentation of the dishes, the Chef must be very proud!
Don't forget about this wonderful downtown place! Have fun!3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfectionI was a little concerned when I looked at the menu and saw the prices, but, we found the entire dining experience to be absolutely perfect. The wine list was extensive and we both found wines, by the glass, that we loved at a reasonable price. My companion started with the squash soup--great squash flavor, just the right steamy temperature. Could not have been better. I started with the heirloom tomato salad. It was large enough to share. We split the rock shrimp appetizer and the beef carpacio. Both were exquisitely prepared and just what we were looking for. Our wait staff was attentive without being intrusive.
