This restaurant is closing at the end of September, so this review is limited in time. The food was quite good. The service also good. We didn't think it was above and beyond, though, which is why it might be closing. We would go again, though, if it was still operating.

They didn't have halibut this time, so I chose the sea bass. The fish was very small, skin on. Not great. The other dish was thick spaghetti bolognese. It was very greasy. I cannot recommend Circo this time. We don't mind paying more; however, these dishes were not worth the price.

  • Service was disappointing

The wait staff was down right disappointing. The waiter never walked us through the menu, but just walked up to us and said, "are you ready to order". He had a difficult time expaining one of the "specialties" of the house and told us the one white fish on the menu was unavailable (before 9PM in Las Vegas!). Bottom line is we had a terrible waiter which I don't beleive is typical as I've had good service in Circo many times before. Another pet peeve....lots of attention to get you to order the fancy drinks....you have to beg to get your water refilled....would not make it in NYC with the staff here.

We loved the food, the wine and the ambience. However, the website says "business casual attire", and there were about five very drunk girls dressed like they were going to the pool (a very sleazy pool). Circo should stick to their dress code and not let these people ruin a great restaurant.

We were at Circo to celebrate a special day with a nice dinner..turned out to be absolutely great..wonderful views, fantastic service, and mouth watering food. Will go back for sure. The gnocchi was excellent, as was the ravioli...did not have room for dessert but next time will have that as well. Yes, there will be next time for sure.

Bellagio's Circo IS modern elegant dining at its best. The decor, resembling a European big top circus, provides just enough whimsy in order to relax in a formal setting. The perfect amount of attention is invested in diners by the staff without being overbearing. The only complaint my dining companion had was that his Peroni beer tasted as if it was mixed with wine or champagne. Beer should be beer no matter where it is ordered because beer is ordered at face-value as pure (even if served in elegant glassware). However, his discontent was more than made up for by the delicious creme brulee we were surprised with for his birthday. And, my grand marnier souffle with creme Anglais was the best dessert that has ever hit my palate! :)

We decided to enjoy the pre-theatre menu at Circo - and didn't have much time before leaving for a show. The waiter expedited each course, but we never felt rushed. The iPad wine list is fun, even with an option to have a label emailed to you. We also had a view of the stunning Bellagio fountains. A terrific experience - we will be back the next time we're in Vegas!

Very special evening :)

Went here while staying at The Bellagio and it was boring, disgusting, bright, no ambience, gross food, slow service and not worth the money they charge. I am extremely disappointed and upset. There are tons of places to go in Vegas, do not go here. Can't even imagine how anyone thinks this place is good. Guess being from NYC we are spoiled with good Italian, this is vile. You've been warned.

Really average food. Had ravioli - very chewy and bland. Hubby had fish - also pretty bland. Old guy topping up our water provided great service but everyone else pretty average. Overpriced compared to some other nicer places on the strip and even in Bellagio which serve better food.

When making our reservation, I noted that it was my wife and mine's wedding anniversary. I was attempting to get a window view of the Fountains. While we didn't get an actual window view (as there were only about 6-8 tables along window, all of which were already filled), we did get a nice quiet corner adjacent to the window tables. Food was excellent, service even better. As we were about to finish up, at least 3 waiters/waitresses approached our table with on-the-house crème brulee and ice cream. All of them wished us a sincere "Happy Anniversary". Will definitely go to Circo again!

Food fell short. My wife had the MAINE LOBSTER AGNOLO TTI Lobster angolotti, which was delicious and presentation on the plate was delightful but it was literally 7 small pasta pockets each bite sized in a row, more like a light appetizer than a meal. I had the SCRIGNO DI MARE roasted main lobster, dungeness crab, prawns, scallops and risotto. Which was one shriveled crab claw size of my index finger, a half lobster tail very tiny and 4 good sized prawns and lots of scallops throughout the risotto. This meal was very unbalanced, the risotto was bland and on the mushy side and over powered the entire meal. The portion size went to the extreme of what angolotti was. Over all the food was disappointing for price paid, especially for Vegas.

Booked a dinner reservation during our honeymoon and requested on OpenTable a window view for the fountain show. The restaurant kindly obliged. Delicious cocktails and savory meals. We had the ravioli and the main lobster anglotti and they were both delicious! Wouldnt normally be a huge fan of the "circus" theme but went well for the evening for our Cirque du Soleil performance. I would particularly recommend seeing O, the Bellagio's Cirque show. Phenomenal! Again, the restaurant theme added to the evening ambiance.

I made reservations with Open Table several weeks ago for Circo - Bellagio, requesting a table by the window to view the fountain. July 4th is my husband's birthday and this request would make his birthday really special. When we arrived and were shown to our table, I was very pleased with the location, as was my husband and the other two guests. The food was outstanding, as was the birthday desert and the show presented by the fountain.

This has to be the worst Italian food I've ever had! I was in Vegas with a few friends and we really wanted a good plate of pasta we definitely made a wrong choice with this place, being italian I know what a good sauce is suppose to taste like and this was nowhere close to that. The only good thing we ordered was the wine I do not recommend this restaurant. The only good italian restaurant in Vegas is Allegro in the Wynn.

Ok service not good it's better at the cheesecake factory.Oysters smallest i've seen...my wife's salad only taste sour vinagrette not good. When the waiter comes asking about the food when you are having the first bite it kind of descripes the service.Ok main I had lobster spaghetti wich consisted of 1. Overcookex lobstertail some shrimps and tomatosauce that tasted like from a can in supermarket.Wife's pizza much worse than any pizza stand on the strip diaqusting. After eating hardly anything of our mains and asking for the check they absoloutly didn't care why we did not eat there cafeteria style cooking. Airline food tastes better. Dont go !

  • The BEST ITALIAN DINING IN VEGAS!
    born2vegasVIP
    Dined on 6/27/2014
The chef's tasting menu with the wine pairing is hands down one of the best dining experiences in Las Vegas. The Pico Toscani is the best Spaghetti and Bolognese in the United States, without exaggeration. The hand rolled pasta and the sauce, the absolute definition of an Italian meat sauce!! In addition to the food, and with the wine pairing, it just caps off the dining experience to discuss the wine choices with the Sommelier, not only is the wine list incredible but to discuss wine with an expert is worth the price of admission!! I am saddened to learn that the Bellagio/MGM Resorts International is planning on closing Circo in the Fall of 2014 and replace it with a "higher revenue" venue. Are you kidding me?
