The food was excellent and the service was very attentive. My wife had the gnocchi with wild mushrooms and I had the fresh local shrimp with grits. She loved her dish and I loved mine. The shrimp tasted like nothing you get from the supermarket, these were plump and sweet, and the dish had a subtle smoked flavor...wonderful. Both plates were perfectly portioned and not over-priced. The restaurant is easy to find in historic downtown, and public parking is around the corner & is very reasonably priced so don't waste your time trying to find street parking. Should we return to Wilmington, we will return to this restaurant. Tapas were well presented and the main courses were plated very nicely. Atmosphere was cozy and intimate. Thinking that spring/early summer dining would be outstanding with the windows open and the interior romatic lighting. We will go back and certainly enjoy the "colassal" desserts. Easily sharable with 4 people and a lovely ending to a lovely meal. Accomodated large parties (around 12 were very comfortably seated) as well as smaller groups.
