Elements from other Cipriani locations will be incorporated into the design for Cipriani Downtown Miami. The dining room will be finished with striped venetian flooring, walnut wood alongside polished steel, floor-to-ceiling windows that provide a stunning exterior view of the waterfront. The restaurants over 12,000 sq ft of space, will include two levels and offer outdoor waterfront seating for a total of over 400 guests alongside perfect spaces for private events. The restaurant will be open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner, offering Cipriani classics together with other specialties.Continued

Diner Reviews
  • "we had a terrific evening at Cipriani Miami. The location and interior is fantastic and so is the service. Despite that the food is a bit more average (except for the deserts and lobster sallad!) we will definitely get back."

  • "Noise, to much noise , is difficult sometimes even to hear that the music is playing. The food is good , but nothing very special of Italian's foods. By the way we are surprised with the menu . Many different types of food not only Italian. Good selection of wines. The service was correct, the maitre very kind. We made , is not the restaurant that keep in mind to go back soon...."

  • "The great downtown Miami location, decoration, view, first class service, nice people, ambience, and the reputation of the Cipriani name makes it such an experience. I will be back!"

  • "We ask for a Negroni before dinner and we had a Campari. The wine glasses were made for soft drinks. The food was not that good. Just don't worth."

  • "With great expectations went to have dinner at Cipriani's. Good food and good ambiance. Food was not to die for."

  • "Super arrogant waiters, Main course came while we still ate our Appetizers Food quality ok but not worth the price Atmosphere cold - more of a place you may consider for a business lunch Overall NOT recommended while there are so many great Restaurants in Miami!"

  • "There are a lot of options for the type of food and cost in Miami, the food is not excellent! I will say is same as average Italian food! Like IL Gaviano or IL Mulino as example!"

  • "Surprising entrance on Viceroy hotel. Great for walk around before lunch and beautiful bayside view."

  • "No but I could have been. The service staff and personnel was off the hook. The gentlemen on the floor were reminiscent of the service staff at the Rainbow Room in New York City, which, sad to say is rare these days. Unobtrusive, professional, clad in white jackets as on an exclusive crew ship in Italy. Very friendly if spoken to but were quietly in the background all evening. The food was simple yet delicious high-quality w/ very ample amounts of food. Get there early so you can see the bay in daylight and at night the lights serve as a stunning backdrop to this impeccably decorated restaurant As with all things Italian, understated elegance gently touting high-quality is the protocol here at Cipriani. Don't miss it."

  • "My wife and I enjoyed Cipriani. Decor is well done although chairs are a little low and not particularly comfortable. Food was great. Artichoke and avocado salad, cucumber salad, langoustine tempura, sea bass and osso buco all top nocth. Service was great but too quick for a restaurant of this caliber. We felt rushed. Will definiltely go back."

  • "Bland... Bland....bland. Veal chop bland. Finger potatoes bland. Spinach bland. Sea bass bland and dry. Great location, beautiful restaurant. Chef. What chef?...food tasted like Denny's. Lots of posing, and grandiose gestures. Very disappointing, have eaten in some of America's Very best Italian restaurants, and this ain't one of them!"

  • "Nice restaurant, good location, great fine dishes, full wine list."
    Dined on 2/16/2014
  • "If you like wine this is not the place to come. They have an expensive wine list but you need to drink the wine in an small glass which is ridiculous and the wine does not taste the same. The food is good for a quick snack. None of the 4 plates we asked plus the 2 entries were nothing to reorder again. The best things of Cipriani are the view, the bread and a waiter named Javier who made the difference. If you being in cipriani in Rio de Janeiro. Nothing to compare and at the end 4 people paid over 500 dollars for a lunch in cipriani at down town Miami."

  • "The restaurant has amazing views and outstanding service. The food was very good but was a bit on the boring side. If you seek more traditional, predictable choices then it might be perfect, but if you are looking for unique combinations and flavors then maybe not."

  • "Seating is chic but absolutely unusable. If you are over 5 feet tall there is no way to get comfortable. Dinner was like a circa de sole show watching people try to sit in the child size seats. Many people milling about, but no service. Took 30 min to get drinks prior to ordering the had to flag down a waiter. Wine list is ridiculously pricey, food is good put also to expensive for what was delivered. Not much chance this place will survive in the long run with its difficult access, long car lines and other issues. Must make changes. Miami's restaurants are to competitive to deliver average for a high price."

  • "We went there for my wife's birthday, and brought along our baby. Staff was very courteous and helpful to accomodate us. They gave us a very reserved table, and were available all the time for whatever we needed. We had Speck (amazing) and then gnocchi and rissotto, bot excellent. As a dessert, we had tiramisu and sorbet, and I can fully recommend both."

  • "This is my third time in this restaurant, and it continues to disappoint. It is surprising as I am used to the opposite in all the other Cipriani restaurants that I have been. The service was delayed, and spotty at best. The Bellinis that were part of our order did not come until the main course had arrived."

  • "The food was amazing. The only problem was the italian manager, who didn't respect the reservations and sitted his friends first. My reservation was for 9:30 and I got a table at 11:00, just 1 second before I was going to leave the place. More respect, please!!!"

  • "Althoug Harry's bar in Venice has a much more good food, this new spot has a better place. Please, return to convencional glassware!!!"

  • "FIRST OF ALL I ORDERED A MR. C RECOMMENDED BY THE HEAD WAITER, BUT I DID NOT LIKE IT AND EXCHANGE FOR A COSMOPOLITAN, WHEN I RECEIVED THE COSMO IT WAS IN A SMALL SHOT GLASS, I MENTION IT TO THE WAITER AND HE SAID DEPENDING HOW THE BARTENDER FEELS HOW THE DRINK WOULD COME OUT IN A CHAMPAGNE GLASS. I WAS DISAPPOINTED. WE RAN INTO BOBBY CASTELLANOS AND WE MENTION IT TO HIM AND HE SAID ( NOT RIGHT) ALSO"
    Dined on 1/12/2014
  • "Food and service were good .the chairs which look good are not meant for full size people. My back still hurts 3 days later.the drinks were served in the ugliest smallest glasses I ever saw and I would not order a second drink."

  • "Congratulations . Keep it like this. Fashion, beautiful people, very nice food. A very good restaurant"

Thanks"

  • "Vale pela ambiente e vista agradavel. A comecar pelas tacas do bellini, baixas e pequenas, apresentacao e quantidade de comida ruins, mesas baixas, cadeiras nada confortaveis e caro custo x beneficio. Bem pior que o de NY"

  • "Had a wonderful evening at the new Miami location. Food and service were great; just as good as their other locations. Highly recommend a visit."
    Dined on 11/24/2013
  • "Ouch- my back still hurts from the extraordinary low-backed chairs. Food and service was amazing just like the ones in NYC. Such a shame that all of the chairs are so poorly designed."
    Dined on 11/30/2013
  • "The service and food are excellent! Order a signature cocktail or wine but do not order a martini. You will receive vodka in a shot glass with two olives over the top. It's Cipiani's way of saying - screw you. lol"

  • "I have been a regular both at the original Harrys Bar in Venice, and the restaurants in London and New York. The cooking in Miami is just not up to standard. And the valet parking consistently rips customers off! Both times I visited I was told that I had to pay more because I had parked for more than two hours, but I checked and that was just not so.. Not a good experience unfortunately."

  • "We had a great time, eating as well as talking and laughing all night long!!! Excellent service added to that makes a wonderful evening."
    Dined on 11/19/2013
  • "Ridiculously small portions spoils what could be a good place! Do not understand why they would do that - the other restaurants in the group do not do that - why Miami??"
    Dined on 11/19/2013
  • "Service was slightly above average for the typical overpriced restaurant however the food did not meet expectations for the price range. At such a high price, I would have expecteded more."
    Dined on 11/19/2013
  • "The people around seem elegant, the service is great, but the food should be much better, it's not very comfortable (not at all...), noising, big problems with "known" or friend people getting tables first than others, tables too close, aloud talking between managers, no space waiting the call. Not a good experience for a Cipriani Restaurant."
    Dined on 11/14/2013
  • "Very pricy for what you get. The Bellini was tasty but not $17 worth. Beet and asparagus salad with goat cheese was just the sum of its parts nothing more. Braised artichoke was five mushy pieces of former artichoke. Entrees were acceptable but hardly memorable. Waiters dressed in silly white jackets bustled around performing kitschy rituals of "extravagant service". At one point the maître d' greeted an arriving couple by holding his arms out toward them then affecting a pantomime of prayerful joy at their presence from the midst of the dining room. How special. A really dumb way to spend $200."
