Cioppino's On The WharfGreat dinning experienceWe started off with some Bloody Mary and my husband, who's very picky ,enjoyed his, as did I. Overall, everything we ordered was very good. Best Cioppino I've had in a long time. We ordered the Tiramisu for dessert and the presentation was very nice. We would definitely go back again.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMNamesake lives up to its name!It is one of the many wharf experiences, and that is a competitive marketplace. Nevertheless, it holds it's own in every way.
Our caesar salads were very tasty, with the right amount of dressing, cheese, and fresh lettuce. The Cioppino dishes are perfect, with plenty of fresh crab, mussels, fish and a savory broth. The desserts are really good... try the warm molten chocolate cake.
Service was perfect. There is much to like here!4/28/2013 12:00:00 AMWe visited Cioppino's on theWe visited Cioppino's on the Wharf for dinner. The good was great. Good portions and priced right. The service was outstanding (friendly, courteous and most pleasant).3/18/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat find!I really enjoyed dining at Cioppino's. The menu had some great items and I enjoyed everything I ordered (Garlic shrimp pasta dish and garlic bread appetizer). The drink menu was also fun with some specialty cocktails. I went with a large group (8 of us) and we had a great table with plenty of room and a great server. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a fairly inexpensive Italian or seafood dinner!3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a great time at Cioppinos. We had a great time at Cioppinos. On Fisherman's Wharf and supposed to be touristy, and we are locals, but we loved it. Decor was wonderful- red table clothes, tables far away from each other, extremely well decorated. Service was fast and waitress was very friendly. Good selection of specialty drinks- the Dark and Spicy was ok, Sangria was really good. Calamari appetizer wasn't special, but ok. Lasagna was excellent and good portion - took half home for the next day. Cioppino comes in two sizes and a choice of in the shell or shelled, which is great. My wife had the smaller size and loved it. Very tasty. She even finished it. Tiramisu for dessert is a must. Very friendly and fun time here. Chianti was about a $1.50 overpriced at $8.3/3/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent food!We had an early lunch and the noise level was quiet. By the time we left, the restaurant had filled and it was understandably noisier. The food here is excellent! The cioppino was the best ever! Service was quick, unobtrusive and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.2/16/2013 12:00:00 AM
