A word from Cinque Terre Italian Restaurant
Growing up in Saronno, Italy, Aldo Marcon would pretend he was the "Amaretto Cookie Chef" in his grandmother"s kitchen. He started cooking as soon as he could get his hands on the stove and never looked back. Marcon studied at Hotel-Restaurant Culinary School "Carlo Porta" in Milan, has worked for notable restaurants throughout the world creating awe-inspiring dishes.

In 2005, Chef Marcon was featured in a few TV Food shows in New Orleans. Afterwards working as chef and owner of La Riviera in Metairie. Cooked for Saint-Michael's Charity Events (Baby Down Syndrome) along with renown chefs Emeril Lagasse and Mario Batali.

In 2008, he moved to Miami and has worked for Cafe Milano, Quattro and Puntino, some of the most renown Italian restaurants in Miami Beach.

He says he is a student to his guests, but full of surprises that please them!

Come one come all this is a great little Italian restaurant in Davie. All pastas are home made, and are worth every single carb and calorie. Corkage is reasonable, so give this place a try.

We did not think it was anywhere near as good as described in some reviews. Cheap plastic coated menus like in a sports bar. An appetizer was removed by a busboy before it was close to finished We mentioned that to a staff member. Was it replaced? No. Were we charged for it? Yes. The waiter forgot to order one person's meal. Other than taking our order and bringing the check, the waiter never came back. We had to constantly grab some of the other help when we wanted something. The waiter went a bit overboard in his attempts to up sell pricier dishes and even expressed shock that no one at our table was ordering the night's meat special. It's sort of pricey for what you get. None of the dishes were anything special. We are not returning.

This is our second time at Cinque Terre. WE loved it the first time, and we were wondering was this going to be a one hit wonder. NO NO NO it was as good, if not more delicious than our first visit. We tried an assortment of appetizer's including octopus, and my table mates licked the plate clean. The home made pastas are the hit of the show. I am a pasta lover, so a great pasta has me a happy camper. The chef is amazing with all types of seafood. He will also accommodate requests that are not on the menu extremely graciously. The coffee as strange as it may seen is fantastic, as well as the tiramisu. PLEASE SUPPORT OUR NEIGHBORHOOD ESTABLISHMENT!!!!

My husband and I went to have early dinner last sunday July 6th to try this new restaurant and we were pleasently surprised. We shared the Burrata with prosciuto (appetizer); he had the tagliolini with seafood in a red sauce and I had the rissoto with seafood (one of the day's specials), everything we ate was very good, delicious. Also tried the dismanteled tiramisu, it was very good as well. Will tell family and friends to go and try it.

I ordered the Lamb Chop special and my girlfriend ordered some sort of lobster & rice special all I can say is WOW both meals made my taste buds explode as both dishes were really excellent! The prices were moderate and they were not skimpy on the portions. I rarely ever wright a review but felt compelled as this was such an excellent dining experience! I really look forward to returning and trying other items on the menu. You will not be sorry experiencing this culinary masterpiece!

Located in an unassuming shopping center on Nova Drive in Davie is this wonderful restaurant, owned and operated by family, lead by the fabulous family chef. The Italian dishes are better than any "fancy" Italian eatery. A MUST TRY!!!! You will return, for sure.

Father's Day and my mom was in town. She suggested trying it, she knew it changed recently, hadn't been in. Beautiful chalk mural on the wall upon entering. Very lively, approx. 14 tables, all full. It didn't take long to get our party of 7 seated. A god sign. However, after 3 rounds of really good bread we finally were served. I wish I could upload the picture of my plate. Lasagna: small mound of sauce in center of large soup bowl with wide rim. So disconcerting, since I was at the head of the table, and I was paying. My mom, wife, AND in-law all frowned at me. I waved it off as it seemed they made out alright. But there was no joy in Mudville. I finished three other plates. We moved on to Flashback Diner on Davie Rd and had a great time.

We dined during the week, so restaurant was not packed. We had excellent service from start to finish. The owner took time to review specials and any questions we had about the menu. Food was top notch and reasonably priced. Not your traditional American Italian food. More similar to menu items found in Italy. We enjoyed our night out and plan to return. I would definitely recommend giving this restaurant a try..

Cinque Terre Restaurant is a fairly new concept owned by the great, experienced chef, Aldo Marcon. I have been fortunate to enjoy Chef Marcon's food in New York, Louisiana, Miami and now here in Davie, Florida. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the fish was fresh and tasty. We loved the meat and cheese presentation as well. Chef Marcon's partner Luisa and staff took great care of us from beginning to end, making our experience just perfect. If you don't live in Davie, it's well worth the drive to experience this comfortable restaurant with outstanding Italian food. This was our second time at Cinque Terre and it was even better than the last. We can't wait to return to this gem of a restaurant the next time we are in Florida.

We had a friendly, knowledgeable waiter greet and seat us. The atmosphere was pleasant, the room relatively quiet. The food was exceptional. We started with the burrata cheese and each had a seafood dish -- lobster and mixed seafood, both with homemade pasta and an excellent sauce. We plan on returning, and will highly recommend the restaurant to friends. The food was well worth the price, but given the cost I'd hesitate to make this a weekly excursion.

Cinque Terre is our "go to" neighborhood spot. We have been going there since it opened several months ago. It is getting very popular and we often meet friends and neighbors. We enjoy the warm, friendly atmosphere and always have wonderful food. My favorites is seafood pasta. My husband always orders one of the specials. They are always delicious and uniquely prepared. The prices are fair and the new special 3 course dinner menu is a BARGAIN! It's truly a neighborhood gem, located in Davie, conveniently off of University Drive.

The homemade pasta I had was perfectly done. Vegetables were sauteed to right texture. I liked the fact they removed the seeds from the squash before cooking it - attention to details like this important in the kitchen. Very good 3 course dinner specials Monday-Thursday.

This was our first time to Cinque Terre and we can't wait to go back for more. We had a mozzarella cheese specialty for an appetizer, mmmmm good. We had salmon for the main course and it was the best we have ever had anywhere. We had tiramisu for desert, it was delicious. The service was very good and the prices were reasonable. We enjoyed our meal very much.

Loved the gourmet quality Italian cooking by the chef. Since it is the chef/owner that is cooking, food takes a bit long to get to the table. Their service staff needs a bit of training, they are slow to greet and bring drinks. But the food is worth overlooking everything, it's worth the wait.

We have returned to Cinque Terre several time since it opened a few months ago. It has a warm, friendly atmosphere and great food. The "Specials" are always very special! The menu has a wonderful selection of freshly prepared Italian dishes. My favorite is the Cioppino, fish/seafood stew. It is filled with shrimp, mussels, octopus, and a wonderful white fish. The broth is stupendous. Salads are fresh and deserts, like bread pudding and ice cream, are all homemade and delicious. We will return again and again. It's our local FAVORITE dining spot.

Excellent exceptional food, trust the Chef's specials. The prices are very reasonable especially for the quality of the food. The food is so good and such an experience I wish the decor was quieter and more intimate but it would probably be more expensive it it were. We have been there twice we ordered different seafood Chef's specials both time and were delighted both times. The staff and the service are also excellent. We'll be going back. Yum!

This is a fairly new restaurant, so we wanted to try it. The service was really good. We enjoyed our entrees a lot. The wine list is a bit pricey for what they offer. I would suggest that they lower those prices. I've been to very fancy restaurants that have a more extensive wine list and a lot cheaper.

You really need to know where this restaurant is located as it is off a main street and hidden in a strip mall. It is a more casual environment than I expected with a pleasant and interesting decor. There were numerous offerings that piqued our interest. The entrees we settled on were the Lasagna and Lemon Chicken both of which were very good. The appetizers (Meatballs and Caesar Salad) were a bit disappointing. Prices were reasonable especially the 3 Course Dinner offered Monday thru Thursday. On a Saturday evening it was a little more than half full. I hope it catches on and develops a following.
