Another Cindy Pawlcyn homerun! Four of us dined there for the first time and we all agreed the food was outstanding. We enjoyed every dish we ordered from the extensive menu. The Pork Belly was to die for ! The Hanger Steak was excellent and was enjoyed by three in our party. We will return here for sure and highly recommend this retaurant.

With so many options in St. Helena to chose from, our first visit to Cindy's Wood Grill was really excellent. With the exception of one dish (the vegetarian enchiladas which were WAY to spicy and unedible), all of the food was outstanding. The braised short rib over polenta was one of the best I've tried. We loved the corn bread and brussel sprout side dishes, very flavorful and perfect accompaniments. Eggplant fries were excellent - different (I have to try that at home!). Dungeness crab louis salad was outstanding. Service was very friendly and super efficient. Outstanding value for your money with a menu that most everyone can find something to enjoy, particularly three foodies teenagers.

To be honest my expectations were not high considering this is Cindy's second or third attempt at this location. Both my wife and I were pleasantly surprised. The crustini was delicious and generous. My wife loved her tuna spaghetti and I enjoyed my hanger steak. I still like Cindy'sMustard's iteration better but this one was decent. The sweet potato fries went well will the rich sauce. Our waiter for the evening was also the bartender and it was fun chatting and watching him move around the room unhurried and on time. I suspect this will change as business picks up. I think this is a gem worth getting to before folks find out and gets crowded like all the other places in the valley. Good luck.

My wife, two kids and I visited on January 1. Terrible service ruined the experience. My son ordered a burger and my daughter ordered crab. We ordered a salad and stuffed clams as appetizers and my wife ordered ravioli and I ordered a burger. First the server had a terrible time telling us the menu additions. She tried valiantly, but was clearly not prepared. After ordering, the server asked if she could bring the kids food with the appetizers so that they would not have to wait while we ate. Fine, we thought. We received the kids entrees and appetizers without delay. However, after finishing the appetizers, we sat for approximately 30 minutes waiting for our entrees. The kids were finished eating and ready to go by the time they arrived

We have enjoyed Cindy's other restaurants, so it's no surprise that we enjoyed our first visit to this one. The entire approach to wine is one of this restaurant's charms. Of course there is a good wine list for starters, as you would expect for a restaurant in the Napa Valley. Then add Cindy's dozen under-the-radar wineries, all available by the taste, glass, carafe or bottle. Then two whole pages of wines available the same way. You might be better off here than cruising around the valley stopping at a bunch of winery tasting rooms. Not to mention that the food is terrific, and the service is entirely professional at the same time that it's friendly and welcoming.

We had lunch the Sunday before New Years. Shared the excellent Winter Salad! Will try to replicate at home. Also shared the Crab Roll. Too delicious! Slices of creamy avocado; fabulous soft bun. And homemade potato Chips. We ordered two glasses of the Old Dogs Sauvignon Blanc. It was so good we bought two bottles. We will definitely be back for lunch or dinner.

My daughter, her boyfriend and his parents met up for lunch. It was my first time meeting my daughter's boyfriends parents. We had a very nice visit, as the noise level was just perfect. The music that was playing was awesome. I love music and the songs that were playing we all my favorites. The food was very good and the choices were all very different. Great choices. I had the Sole Almondine, which was great. The others had the crab stuffed sandwich, the asian chicken salad, gareden enchladas, carrot soup. All was delish. I will definitley be recommending Cindy's Wood Grill to all of my guests and friends.

Really enjoyed our experience at this restaurant. We decided to go there because we love Cindy's Mustard Grill. We were seated right away. Initially I was a little disappointed in the amount of food choices to choose from, however, I have to say everything we had was delicious. Definitely try the Egg Plant Fries! So delish. My son loved the chocolate and chipoltle ribs. My husband and I both had the sole which was definitely good, but not any different than great sole we have had in other places. Overall a great experience! Go there and be adventurous!

Another Pawlcyn hit, Wood Grill provides interesting and delicious cuisine in a beautiful, modern setting. We dined outside for lunch and had a wonderful experience. The duck confit salad was perfectly balanced and the confit moist and delicious. My husband's fish and chips were crispy and nicely seasoned. Service was as always friendly without being intrusive, timely, and professional. The wine list is, as at all Pawlcyn locations, extensive and well-priced. Pawlcyn provides the quintessential Napa dining experience without the hefty price tag and snobbery.

Cindy's Wood Grill and Wine Bar puts a new twist on casual dining and comfort food. Creative takes on old favorites, e.g. Coffee baby back ribs, miso hanger steak, or short ribs spiced up, are just a few examples. While their wine list is not comparable to a fine restaurant, the have a very good selection and an interesting list of wines from wineries in the area that do not have tasting rooms. This allows one to sample a wine that otherwise would not be possible. The service is professional and friendly. And the tab won't break your budget, albeit it's still Napa Valley!

We are in Napa Valley about once a year or so. We've driven by this restaurant without noticing it until the big, lighted "white sign" Cindy Pawlcyn's caught our attention. One might say the rest is history. Spectacular wine list, including some small, unknown vineyards, really good wines by the way. The menu is first class. Never had French fried eggplant before this visit. The specials were great - a puréed creamed vegetable soup, yellow fin tuna prepared to perfection on a bed of lentils with bits of currents for sweetness. Sole almandine for my spouse, to die for. Dessert was a buttermilk, lemon cheesecake, but very light. Service was wonderful, attentive. This is a great find in St. Helena's. can't wait to return.
