Cindy Pawlcyn's Wood Grill & Wine BarThe ultimate outdoor dining experieAwesome food, flavors distinctive, fresh ingredients and wonderful combinations. Service, ambience and outdoor dining is superb!!!4/28/2013 12:00:00 AMSo soThe food was Ok! The pork belly was good as was the chocolate 'souffle'. The pork chop was only so so. Brining it in cola did not appear to make any measurable change to the taste. Friends say the short ribs were average. The food server was fun and attentive. The restaurant has all the right things - good location and parking, fun atmosphere and nice decor. Focus on the taste of the food!4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food, great serviceGreat food, great service what you would expect from Cindy Pawlcyn.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMMustards North+amazing wines!Cindy has done it again! Her Wood Grill is a bit like Mustard's North also incorporating elemnents of her other restaurants with new twists, including a much wider selection of wines (100 by the glass) and a great price point. The oysters, ribs, sole and eggplant fries are not to be missed - along with the desserts of course. I can't wait for the garden to open!4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMReal find! What a great dinner! Start off at the bar for drinks and ask George to show you the olive trick and he's got others up his sleeve too. Food was fantastic!!4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMSt Helena gemgood food, great service, nice ambience ..... what more can one ask for ??4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMBest ribs I have ever eaten!!Fall off the bone ribs were amazing. Love the 2 oz. put selection on wines. Huge space but ver comfortable. Waiters very attentive. Great place. I am a huge fan of anything that Cindy touches. She is magic and has the best recipes to make you feel cozy and warm3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMAbsolutely wonderful fromAbsolutely wonderful from all aspects. We especially enjoyed the sophisticated yet relaxed feel of the restaurant. At no time did we feel rushed and our server's timing and cordiality was outstanding. Having a sampling of a new vintner's bottling was a memorable treat as well.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMLoved the unique twists onLoved the unique twists on the food, wonderful service from Sara and a special touch meeting Cindy.3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMWow...what a meal! We wentWow...what a meal! We went with the recommended specials and 2 oz wine pairings. The ability to taste local wines not available elsewhere was a real plus. In addition, a local vintner was pouring samples from his family winery down the street. We were all invited to come see the property...and we will when we come back next month.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious for the right price! The staff and management were very friendly and extremely helpful in making suggestions for choices. For the area, the prices were very reasonable. The pork belly (even though it initially sounded suspect) was by far our favorite appetizer out of the few choices we went with. Although, just about everything we had was delicious. While we did not have previous experience with any of Cindy Pawcyn's restaurants, we all left very satisfied and would not hesitate to try again. This is definitely a place that you don't want to pass by while you are driving through St. Helena.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMIn love with CP'sFirst time at CP's, long, long time customer at Mustards. Wow! Our food was delicious. The crab rolls were stupendous and so good that we'll be back shortly to do again. Great menu, it was hard to choose! Now it will always be a debate, CP's or Mustards! What great choices!3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMGOOD FOOD AND AMBIANCE, BUT PRICEYThe ambiance was good and the food was innovative, but it was very expensive. Lunch for 3 came to $195 WITHOUT TIP. We did not have a bottle of expensive wine. We did have a plate of oysters that were $36 so that added a lot to the total. We saw them later at a notable restaurant for $1.50 each, which confirmed our belief that they were overpriced at Cindy's.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMNew Spring MenuThe new spring menu is wonderful. I had fresh tasting asparagus with gribiche to start. For my main, I had another new spring menu item: fall-off-the-bone baby back ribs. They were terrific! Just the right combination of sweet and spicy. And served with cole slaw, biscuits and honey butter. I cannot wait to have them again! My husband had the daily special sunchoke soup and risotto carbonara and loved them both. Although we were full, we had to sample one of the new spring desserts. We shared the bread pudding with creme fraiche ice cream and fresh strawberries. It was even better than strawberry shortcake. Each time we return to Cindy Pawlcyn's Wood Grill and Wine Bar, it keeps getting better.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMOur waiter was perfect andOur waiter was perfect and it was great being greeted by Cindy as we arrived. I am looking forward to my next visit.3/13/2013 12:00:00 AMThanks, we needed that . . .A wonderful addition to Napa's Upper Valley, CP's offers unique dining options as well as old fashioned comfort food. Already a favorite among vintners, one of the draws here is the opportunity to sample 2 oz. pours of hard to find wines. One dish is better than another.2/9/2013 12:00:00 AM
