  • "Waiter was great, food delicious great place to eat"

  • "My girlfriends and I were celebratimg a birthday at Cincos and although the sevice was great, the food lacked a bit. I ordered the shrimp enchiladas at the recommendation of our waiter but I was very disappointed with their consistency. It was like I was eating undercooked mushy dough. The shrimp were very small and pretty tastless. I had asked the waiter for no cilantro and the entree came with it. Not a good pick for me but my friends were satisfied with their meal. "

  • "Ok, wifey and I went to Cinco for the first time on a Friday night. It was packed but with the reservation we went straight in to our table. This is one place were the food and drinks came out so fast I couldn't believe it. We ere so happy with the service and the food was great as well. Except for the dip but we changed it for the cheese dip and everything was great after that."

  • "Cinco's is a local chain of TexMex resetaurants in ATL. Their food isn't bad, and food prices are probably a little above normal. Margaritas are tasty, but a little expensive as well. While not terrible, one could probably do better as well."

  • "My husband and I went to Cinco before an event at the Cobb Energy Center. The waiter asked us if we were about to see a show, so he could get the food order in in time for us. Very good! Everything came out quickly, food was good and then we just strolled over :)"

  • "There are only a few choices in Atlanta to have an Uupper scale" restaurant which serves Mexican. Service and food were very good. The ambiance was nice and the noise levels were moderate. Will definitely go back. Had fun with friends."

  • "I'm a repeat customer at Cinco's as its on the way home. Some night we just like to stop and eat dinner here at Aker's Mill rather then battle the traffice into Marietta. Always nice and the food is great."

  • "If you like full flavor, this is the place to go!! Service is good. The room in the back is a great place for groups with a great atmosphere and decorations!!"

  • "No comparison we go around town and their margaritas are the best! Strong ( you can taste the licor) I hate when you get a water down margarita! Also their Texas margaritas are great! Just to compare last nite we went to "agave" around cabbage town and their as much reputation they got not even got close to cinco margaritas!"

  • "My boyfriend and I wanted to try Mexican for a change of pace on our first Valentine's Day together. I made reservations at Cinco @ Akers Mill because I had previously read some good reviews on OpenTable. We arrived a few minutes after our reservation time but were taken straight back to our table. Our server, Alejandro was great! He made excellent drink recommendations. We ordered 2 appetizers (Crab Fritters and Chipotle-Lime Butterfly Shrimp). Both were great! In terms of entrees, I had the Pollo Con Crema Langosta and he had the Salmon A La Parilla. Again both were excellent choices. Drinks were quite strong, but we are not heavy drinkers. :) I would recommend Cinco to anyone looking for fresh tasting food and great atmosphere."

  • "Fun, lively upscale Mexican restaurant....5 Star all the way - service, menu selections, taste & presentation. Ambiance is warm, friendly, while also having a nighttime "cool" factor. Has appeal for all age groups."

  • "My 3rd visit to the restaurant for Sunday Brunch. 1st two times I was with a group of at least 10 and this time was spur of the moment with only one friend. I love that it is a true brunch buffet not just certain items to be ordered ala carte between time designated for breakfast and lunch. I appreciate made to order waffles and I'm told the made to order omelets are just as good (I don't like eggs). When I'm feeling like something more hardy, I have enjoyed the carved prime rib (tho I wish they could season it). Of course what's a Mexican themed restaurant without fresh guacamole? Guac and other items I've gotten to test have been worth it.Whether in a group or party of 2 I have always been greeted promptly and service has been attentive."

  • "As usual, we had dinner again at Cinco and it was delicious! The GM "Rob" and his staff took very good care of us and made us feel as if we were dining at "our club!" The Tuna Tatapos were fantastic and we just enjoyed the entire meal! They are also running a "special" during January with a discount if you dine there often! Can't wait to go back again!"

  • "Food and drinks were pretty good. I really loved the decor and ambiance of the restaurant. Our server was very friendly but really slow and didn't really check on us very often."

  • "We picked Cinco to celebrate my birthday. I love the food! The waiter could have been a bit more attentive. It wasn't busy but took a long time to get service. We had to ask for water and refills. But, the check was delivered promptly. We'll come back because the food was great! Love the open table feature."

  • "As always, the experience was amazing! They've added a new drink that I fell in love with...a jalapeno margarita. The food was exceptional and our server gave great service. I'll be back on Friday!!!"

  • "Cinco is slipping. Their food is not as good as it used to be. The dish I ordered is something I've had a number of times there and it wasn't as good as it has been in the past. Things keep changing with how the dish is served and the flavoring of the sauce."

  • "They have an awesome Sunday Brunch with a very wide selection of breakfast foods and Mexican dishes. I went to the omelette station and the Chef made me a delicious bacon & cheese omelette. I also asked him to throw on a piece of prime rib from the carving station. So many things to choose from and also many delicious deserts. I highly recommend it."

  • "This was our first time to Cinco and while it was a nice place for dinner - nice atmosphere, good service, etc. the food was somewhat lacking in flavor and the drinks were so-so. For the $$, I'll go somewhere else for Mexican."

  • "Nice and tasty, great ahead of attending cobb energy show"

  • "We always have enjoyed eating at the bar at the Alpharetta location and could count on attentive service. The Cumberland location bartenders are not quite with it. We shouldn't have to ask for chips and salsa -- twice. Maybe it's because the bar is circular with a partition in the center that blocks their view of half the patrons. Also, my wife had the chicken fajitas, her favorite and regular dish at Cinco. The quantity was really skimpy compared to what she usually gets. We are beginning to think that LaPaz in Vinings will be our go-to Southwestern restaurant. The service at Cinco isn't getting it done for us."

  • "Dined here prior to attending The Rockettes show within walking distance to venue. We had early reservations so getting seated and served in plenty of time before show was no problem. Service was good. We ordered an appetizer, Lobster & Shrimp Cheese Dip. Very good. I would suggest restaurant bring another basket of chips or offer flour tortillias with this appetizer. Our party of 5 had already gone through the 1st basket of chips with the complimentary salsa, which was excellent w/roasted tasted. I ordered grilled fish tacos. I was a bit disappointed. The "grilled" looked more like sauteed and there was nothing on the fish taco's except what appeared to be mayo. Would probably try Cinco's again, just not the fish tacos."

  • "Our local Los Bravos has gone downhill so we needed a new Mexican restaurant. Decided to try Cinco. We were promptly seated. The service was attentive and helpful. Our server was very nice and answered all our questions. The food was a definite step up from our previous haunt, and not much more expensive - better value for money in my opinion. My wife had a shrimp dish and I had the Carne Asada. I also had a premium Margarita. We finished off with Tres Leches for desert. All in all a very nice dining experience. We will definitely be back."

  • "Who knew? I have to say it was probably the best meal I've ever had at Cinco. The food is usually hit or miss which is why I usually go for drinks only. I knew about the brunch but never tried it out until Subday. We had intentions on going to Marlow's brunch buffet but we had heard Cinco was $12.99. Well it wasn't, it was actually $17.99 but for a buffet that's not too bad. My hubby and I both had the buffet and we shared a pitcher of Texas margaritas. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was great and I had a lovely date with my husband."

  • "I had a good experience here. I brought a group of my friends to celebrate my birthday with me and I have mixed feelings. The hostess staff were pleasant and welcoming. The server was very nice but inexperienced and overwhelmed. He didn't know how to describe the menu and seemed a bit nervous. It's possible that we could have gotten a newbie but all in all he was very nice so that made up for it. The food was ok. It was good but not the best. The drinks were great. Overall, I would visit this place again but be prepared to walk because there is absolutely NO parking."
