  • "We would not miss Cin Cin when we visit Vancouver. It is one of our favorites in the world."

  • "We took our whole family for a birthday celebration and sat on the deck. As always, the food was superb. I had the branzino. It was cooked perfectly. Crispy skin and moist inside. The roasted potatoes were amazing. This was a dish that took me back to a seaside restaurant we once went to in Italy. Fantastic pasta as well. This is a restaurant that has stood the test of time. It gets overlooked in favour of the new trendy spots that have popped up on the east side and Gastown, but it's really just as good or better than all of those."

  • "Wonderful dining experience and a fantastic meal. We chose Cin Cin as it was recommended by our daughter .and she was not wrong"

  • "I brought my friend to CinCin as a special thank you. I've been here once before with a large group and the good and service were excellent. Today, not so much. The pasta was bland, the noodles tasted store bought, not fresh. The service was adequate. For the cost, this place was not worth it and given all the exceptional restaurants in Vancouver in this price range I wouldn't bother with it again."

  • "Horrible food. The salad was fit for a bovine not a human. The veal chop was fatty. This was unique. I've never had fatty veal before. The undercooked salmon was served in a puddle of some mysterious bright green liquid. The server seemed there to harass rather than serve."

  • "Positive reviews and nearness to our hotel were the main reasons for choosing CinCin. The restaurant is on a busy street but being above street level, noise was not a problem at the inside table we were given. The wine list is longer than many novels, with prices ranging from not cheap to bank account emptying, but the lower end BC wine we chose was superb so quality is good. The food was good mediterranean fine dining - relatively small portions of rich food - so we did not have room for dessert. Our waiter was very helpful and friendly and gave some recommendations for future stops on our tour of BC"

  • "Once again we had an excellent meal and service. Requested a quiet corner for a hearing sensitive person and the table couldn't have been better. Thank you"

  • "Had a wonderful meal as always. Menu has so many interesting choices and the wine list has something for everyone"

  • "The food at Cin Cin was, in a word, AMAZING! Top notch service, clean and welcoming ambiance, in a convenient location downtown Vancouver. The menu has a good variety of choices, and the food came in a timely manner with great presentation, a good portion size, plus smelled and tasted delicious. Prices were reasonable for quality of ingredients. We will definitely be back!"

  • "We went there for our anniversary and a romantic dinner but left disappointed. The whole pasta dish I ordered was like a piece of cold jelly. Too dry, sticky and undercooked. They took it off the bill, but I was disappointed with the food. I would make a better pasta at home with cheap stuff. The service was kind of professional though."

  • "Business dinner, perfect location to show what Vancouver dining has to offer. Excellent service, superb meal."
    Dined on 6/24/2014
  • "Came to Cincin with a coworker for dinner and had a wonderful experience. Wine list was quite extensive and the Restaurant Director was kind enough to recommend a fantastic Pinot Grigio. All courses from start to finish were delicious and the service was impeccable - our waters and wine glasses were refilled continually, the food came promptly followed by timely quality checks. Our server Chris was personable and polite though it was probably difficult for him to get a word in while the two of us dined and chatted. Overall, a great restaurant in the heart of downtown."

  • "The establishment is very attractive and the service great, however; the mains were not enjoyable. The sablefish was tasteless and the short rib too rich to palate. The pasta was good though"

  • "I dined at CinCin for the first time for my boyfriend's birthday and was surprised to find that the restaurant is quite family-friendly, as we were seated next to a table with children. Not what I had expected, but it's a nice environment nonetheless. The food was good, but my boyfriend complained that portions were small, even though we ordered the main. He had the ravioli, which is supposed to have truffle broschetto, but didn't taste truffle-y. I tasted and agreed. It was even a bit on the sour side. Maybe the chef was a little heavy-handed with the lemon juice (though the menu didn't mention it would be doused in lemon juice). I enjoyed my dish though, which was the grilled alaskan scallops with risotto. The sorbet was good."

  • "Everything was terrific, from the cocktails (Tuscan Retreat and CinCin Negroni) to the beet salad to the porcini mushroom risotto to the sablefish and the roasted duck breast (the best duck I have ever had... and I've had plenty). My highest recommendation. Robert was an exceptional server."

  • "The restaurant service is very good and the food is outstanding. Must try the lobster when you there."
    Dined on 6/17/2014
  • "The service was so friendly and helpful, without being pretentious (like so many places in downtown are). The pasta here is the best I have had in Vancouver, and the Italian I brought as my date agreed."
    Dined on 6/13/2014
  • "My wife and I dined this week. The food was fabulous, and the wine list was incredible, especially the Italian wines, though pricey. We would highly recommend."
    Dined on 6/12/2014
  • "Excellent service, great fod expensive but impressive wine list. Only problem? Like so many restaurants in Vancouver IT'S TOO NOISY.... why do sane normal people have to shout at each other?"
    Dined on 6/5/2014
  • "We ate outside at the patio, and we enjoyed it do much, the atmosphere was quite romantic, low lights, candle light, outdoor heaters, street trees hanging their branches over your table, great service, great food, quiet place. I loved it so much."

  • "The food was truly wonderful. Everything from the bread and salad to the entree was unique and perfectly executed. Simple with amazing flavors."

  • "Have dined at Cin Cin before. Was disappointed to find out after being seated that their wood oven pizza oven was being removed. Their famous wood oven pizza is no longer available ! "

  • "i had been hearing about cincin for years and was so excited to go - we were a group of 5 people catching up. we got seated outside which was wonderful - the space is beautiful and feels like an oasis in the city. the service was excellent and we felt well taken care of. the food, however, was a little bit disappointing. it was GOOD - but nothing to write home about and felt quite overpriced for what we got. the plating also didn't appear to be done with care - i don't find these things to be a huge deal - but when you are paying as much as they're charging, you expect a little bit above average."

  • "when I requested patio seating for two over the phone, my namesake there said that though accommodation would be "first come, first served", he would do his best for us, his best turned out to be the best table on the patio, we thought the service itself was no less impressive, congenial, efficient, professional, the food, as usual, superb, the waiter himself good enough even, apparently, we both heartily agreed, to verily eat and the stars twinkled thanks ever for a grand evening - Richard and Susan"

  • "I took my mum here for her 65th. She does not eat wheat so Italian places are usually off the list. However, CinCin offers such a variety of options that you aren't forced to order pasta. Despite dietary restriction, she was overwhelmed with choices. The restaurant offers a huge variety of dinner plates featuring fish and red meat. Their pasta is also amazing for those of you who want it. We ordered the Halibut and the Sablefish. These fish are very different and require different handling and preparation times. Everything came to our table quickly, at the same time, piping hot, well presented and cooked to perfection. We ordered a couple of items "for the table" and a Main dish each. We were stuffed. Great value & service. I'll be back. "

    Dined on 5/8/2014
  • "Cin Cin is the place I go every time I am in Vancouver for business. The service is outstanding with many long time servers happy to see you again. The wine list is incredible, with dozens of hard to find vintages and verticals. I am a pescetarian, so the fish is always outstanding, with specials that are mind blowing. I love Cin Cin, and the fact it has been around so long is testimony to it's level of quality."

  • "It is always a true pleasure to dine at Cin Cin. I just wish that they would re open for lunch. "
    Dined on 5/13/2014
  • "I would not recommend this restaurant for the under 40 crowd. The food is absolutely unremarkable not to mention quite pricey. The atmosphere is very stuffy (that trying really hard to be a "fine" dinning place) and the wait staff is haughty. There was no one under the age of 35 in the restaurant and people were dressed up a bit too much....suits and dresses. I do not mind paying for pricey food but I expect much more from the taste and atmosphere. I prefer a more trendy and relaxed vibe. I would suggest going to the Gastown area for restaurant options."

  • "Once again had a great meal at Cin Cin . Love this restaurant when I come to Vancouver. The ravioli was outstanding and the server was knowledgeable and knew the wine menu as well as the food menu. We will return. :)"
    Dined on 5/11/2014
  • "First their wine list was very extensive, and had a great selection. However, it was outrageously expensive with few GOOD selections in a reasonable range. I am sure they hear this all the time, however, if the wine was more reasonably priced we would have ordered two bottles and probably had appetizers and deserts. Food was mediocre at best. I know this place has been known for good food in the past but I just didnt see it at our table this time (or last time for that matter)."
