Our food was great! fresh! tasty! service was good, our waiter did a fantastic job! I had lobster and spaghetti, husband had lamb, the couple with us had risotto and the mushroom soup starter. I had the minestrone soup appetizer. All was enjoyed. Would certainly go back! Recommend for a special outing.

Overall was a great experience. The service was awesome. The overall feeling of the restaurant is amazing from the décor to the food to the wine, etc. Our choice of wine was assisted by our waiter, who was very knowledgeable for taste and selection. Our appetizer was very good and split it up so my wife and I could share. Our main meals is where things didn't go so well. I had the chorizo pasta and it was very good. It was a good portion and tasty. My wife ordered the risotto and it was a disappointment. It was very bland and also was crunchy and undercooked. I would not suggest the risotto to anyone. We shared the truffles for dessert and they were amazing. The overall experience was good...just my wife's main meal.

Excellent gnocchi - an Italian restaurant is easily judged by its pasta. Osso bucco was very good but not a lot of other veal on the menu?

Looks great from the outside. Front end hostess was unfriendly and sat us at a very bad table and was hesitant to move us to a better table even though there were open tables around us that sat empty while we were there. The menu has all of the ingredients that should make for great food but the execution was not there. The manager was kind enough to take our entrees off our bill but that won't bring us back. Wine list is extensive but over priced for most diners. Too many good options in Vancouver to take a chance at Cin Cin

The ambiance is very nice in the restaurant althought it was quite noise inside, so we choosed to sit outside on the balcony which was warm enough due to the very big and confortable heater. The waiter attending us, was just very friendly and helpful with very good behaviour, he treated us like we were the only one there.

We always make a point of dining at Cin Cin when we are in Vancouver. This time, we were laying over for a few days on the way home to Montreal from Tibet. I had made a Friday night reservation before leaving home. Our to-die-for entree is the black cod which never disappoints. In fact, evrything was excellent. I succumbed to our waiter who recommended an Okanagan Valley white wine and it worked just fine with our meals. Our waiter had a number of suggestions which we appreciated. I just love this place ever since I was introduced to it about ten years ago at a retirement party where I had to give a short speech. Good job, folks!

We have enjoyed Cin Cin for over 20 years. Sadly our recent experience will likely be our last. While the food was lovely( not superb by foodie standards)the absolutely unacceptable service overshadowed the evening. Our waiter did not appear to have the standards required and expected of such an establishment. Apart from lacking a personal touch he made many waiting errors. He would deliver cutlery for the next course while we were just enjoying the course that had just arrived, he removed plates prior to all being done their course, hovered and made us feel rushed. When we requested that he pour the remainder of our wine and we would look at dessert menu. He disregarded this request.

This restaurant is a great choice to celebrate a special occasion. It was our first time there and definitely not the last! The service was outstanding and the strongest reason why we will return. The food was delicious except the spaghetti were a bit too "al dente" for our taste. We returned the plate and got another "softer" portion promptly. Our dinner was memorable even more after receiving extra surprising touches like a birthday wish note or happy birthday sign on the dessert plate.

I went with my sister-in-law who was in Vancouver on a work related matter. Seldom do we ever have a time together for a good conversation without a multitude of relatives around. CinCin was a great choice, the tables are nicely spaced, background noise, minimal and the service, unabtrusive. The menu was perfect as it allowed a choice of smaller to full size portions. The wine list was to our liking. We had a wonderful conversation catching up with a beautifully prepared and presented evening meal. My sister-in-law was very happy as I was and it made for a great night out. Thank-you. D.

This was our first visit to CinCin, but it will not be our last. The food lived up to expectations and was in line with the good reviews we had read. The only slight disappointment was that the website made a big point about the wine list and the sommelier's knowledge. We saw no sign of the sommelier and our server had little to add to our own knowledge.

Overall dining experience was fair. Noticed some inconsistency as some tables were offered an amuse-bouche and others weren't. The risotto with squash and taleggio cheese was full of butter and large pieces of cheese resulting in a creamy cheese plate lacking the finesse of a risotto. Definitely overpriced for the quality offered.

My wife and I are from out of town. This was our second visit to Cin Cin based on our great first visit. This visit the ravioli pasta was under cooked and the t-bone steak was bad...could barely saw through it with the steak knife. Mentioned this to one of the managers and his comment was that longer cooking time would soften the meat. Really? This isn't a pot roast. He gave us two smirks throughout our conversation which clearly indicated to me that he really didn't take my concern seriously. He did offer to prepare another steak or even a filet but we were pressed for time and had to leave. Larry our server was top notch. Sorry Cin Cin but the manager's attitude has us hard pressed to come back.

We have travelled extensively in Italy and generally approach Italian food on this side of the world with trepidation. Everything here was spot on from the decor to the desert. Nothing was overdone with tomato sauce. Produce was fresh and tasty. I could have repeated the tomato and mozzarella for desert. Wine list included Italian and Sicilian favorites usually not seen outside of Italy. Risotto which is rarely done well was delightful. Service was professional and low profile, but when I asked the waitress about dishes she was knowledgable about preparation. Wish we could go back, but it was our last night in Vancouver.

A beautiful foyer and a warm greeting at the entrance. That is the ambiance of CinCin. The servers were prompt, knowledgeable, kind, and friendly. The food from start to finish was mouth-watering with balanced flavor profiles (we share the antipasti, chicken, and halibut dishes). Lastly, the tiramisu was rich, smooth, and silky with just the right amount of cocoa nibs for texture. An amazing meal.
