Cibo TrattoriaGreat choice for pre-concert dinnerInteresting cocktail and wine list, including a good selection by the glass. The food we ordered was delicious and cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly without intruding and were aware of our time constraints. We will be happy to return.9/4/2013 12:00:00 AMWe were there for a work meeting/We were there for a work meeting/ dinner and we all really enjoyed our dining experience!8/4/2013 12:00:00 AMVisiting VancouverWent to Cibo based on vegan friendly notation on urbanspoon. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and was able to indicate which dishes could be made vegan. Husband (not vegan) had the oysters as an appy and said they were very good. I had a nice mixed salad and the crispy polenta main. Husband had the linguine. All the food was very good. Husband also liked the large serving of tiramisu. Cibo was busy with a mostly theatre/symphony crowd. The orpheum is right across the street.6/5/2013 12:00:00 AMSuperbWe thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The ingredients were fresh and the favour came through without too much salt as many other restaurants use.
One of the best meals we can remember in Vancouver. The best fresh pasta we've had outside Italy.
We appreciated the professional, unobtrusive service. The last thing we want is to be asked, "How is it tasting NOW?" three or four times - an annoying practice that seems to be proliferating in BC.
If you like authentic Italian cuisine you won't be disappointed.6/3/2013 12:00:00 AMWe find this restaurant aWe find this restaurant a little crowded. It is difficult for the servers to teach tables, and once patrons are seated it is very difficult to get up again if others have been seated at a nearby table.5/30/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat lunch!Wonderful lunch. Very quiet for a good catch up with friends. The post-lunch coffee was superb!5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMA gem in Vancouver's downtownLoved lunch, great service! Had spotted prawns which I love because they're local sustainable delicacy, and looked stunning on presentation but hard to eat as served.5/15/2013 12:00:00 AMlove the chef were glad thatlove the chef were glad that he could accomodate so many food allergies.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMThat special touch!Convenient to the Orpheum theatre, in the heart of Vancouver, it is rare to find such a treasure. The food is truly original and exquisite. A favourite dining place for myself and friends!5/8/2013 12:00:00 AMCiboThis is my favourite restaurants Vancouver restaurant. I wish I lived closer. If ever I have an event downtown I try to go there. I love the menu which always has unusual and tempting items. The servers are helpful without being intrusive. I love the fact that they use local products and feature BC wines. I also love the ability to share tapas style. I find the prices to be reasonable in comparison to the competition with similar quality food.5/7/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat ServiceOpen table rates this restaurant at $$; however, it should br rated at $$$. This was fine but we were not looking for something so
Chic on this particular night. Having a menu posted outside the restaurant would have helped in this case.
We will be back. Food and service were excellent.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMGood food, convenient locationCibo offers a good selection of Italian cuisine.
