"Very nice restaurant with quiet atmosphere when there's only a few customers there. It turns extremely noisy as it gets busier and the mood is ruined. Food was okay. Not as bad as some reviews on other sites. Pasta sauces are very heavy and salad dressings are pre-applied with WAY too much put on the salad. Service was okay, maybe a little slow, but the servers were very friendly. There were only 2 and were doing fine until it got busy and then they were very overworked. 4 would have been more appropriate for the size. Manager (owner?) was acting as host and was walking around with shirt untucked. He looked like a slob."

"Sweet little bistro. Great talkability, the place was oddly quiet given the high ceilings and business they had for lunch. Food was pretty good very full of flavor. If you don't like salt and spice stay away from the black and bleu salad. Oddly, no bread was offered with the salad. My friend had the grilled pesto chicken panini ...DELICIOUSO! The only beer on tap is Bud Light, although they had a good handful of them bottled. Price was a little higher than your norm, probably for the atmosphere. Said atmosphere kept us comfortably chatting away for 30 minutes after we'd finished eating."

"The food was great! We had a large group of 8 and we all enjoyed our food. Plenty of bread served before dinner. Service was a little slow but their was a hugh crowd. The peanut butter pie was excellent."

"Our first time to the restaurant there was a waiting list of over and hour...so we passed. This time we made reservations and as it turns out, Tuesday night was pretty slow after 8:00 PM....we had such an attentive waiter.....timing of all the food and drinks was perfect. Great portions; certainly enough for the next day's lunch. Highly recommended."

"We went to Ciao Bella for my birthday on a Friday night. We arrived at 8pm, the time of our reservation and got right in. Both our Wine & Appetizers were delivered in timely fashion, salads cold, but our entrees were delivered way too hot to eat. Although we both ordered broiled entrees, the plates they were delivered to our table in were sizzling and I really feared they were melting the table covering. Our server even commented "have they cooled enough to see how they taste?" It was more than 10 min before I could try mine, but when it finally cooled to a tolerable temperature, it was tasty. We took the Tiramisu home & enjoyed it later with espresso."

"Ciao Bella has the best service staff I have ever dealt with. They were so friendly and efficient. The food was well beyond the standard Italian restaurant, very delicious. The menu is not to big, but has plenty of great food to offer."

"Extremely friendly staff; very helpful, and willing to modify standard dishes to account for individual tastes. The tiramisu was superb: No excessive coffee taste; a delicate flavor with the right touch of sweetness--highly recommended. My daughter loves the brushetta--keeps going back for more of it (likes the big cuts of tomato)--and my wife could easily make a meal of it: Again, highly recommended."

"You can't beat the pizza!!!Outstanding unique hand made look, taste, outstanding crust, sauce, Love IT!!!When they have the free concerts in the summer down town LS, we walk over order a pizza and enjoy it while watching the concert."
