A word from Churchill's Steakhouse
Churchill's is truly one of the country's great steakhouses. It is one of only a handful of steakhouses that exclusively serves 100% USDA Prime beef from midwestern, corn fed cattle. The loins are dry-aged and hand cut in house by our own Master Meat Cutter to ensure the finest quality. The steaks are cooked in a custom made, top heated, radient broiler at temperatures of 1,800 to 2,200 degrees sealing in the savory juices. Churchill's impressive menu includes USDA Prime domestic Lamb Chops, Duroc Pork Chops, fresh fish and shellfish and other seasonal seafood offerings; like fresh Florida Stone Crab Claws and Copper River King Salmon. Our bakery turns out fresh baked dinner rolls daily along with a variety of home made cakes and desserts. First timers must try our famous "Chocolate Sack". Our lively cocktail lounge, located in the lower level, has an elegant yet casual atmosphere and features live piano music seven nights a week.Continued

Diner Reviews
  • "Owner was present, catered to a group of 9 golfers, paid no attention to others dining rather than giving attention to all diners as good restraunters so often do. Lost the one I wrote. "

  • "I love a perfect steakhouse. This is one of the best. I go every time I fly to Spokane from the East Coast. They have the bsst cuts, great seafood, wonderful sides and flawless service."

  • "We went to Churchill's for our 1st Anniversary. The service was fantastic. The food was so good, we ate every bite. We also had very tasty cocktails. Loved it."

  • "Full-fledged steakhouse. They age and cook their steaks appropriately. The staff is very knowledgeable in the food, and the way it's prepared, as well as the wines. It's a little pricey but it's oh-so-worth-it!"

  • "I would have given this restaurant 5 stars if their wine list offered more reasonable prices on bottles. I've never seen a wine list that had nothing under $54/bottle. Most bottles were $80-$100. Really? So we settled on buying it by the glass. Otherwise, the steaks were divine, the desserts delectable, and the service was exceptional. Thank you!"

  • "Steak was had alot of grissle. Not at all what i was expecting at a place with ypur reputation. The pototoe pancakes were hash browns. Garlic mashed would have better. Salad was great as was the bread and dessert. Service was great but you struck out on the steak."

  • "We have been here before and we were not as impressed as this last visit. Great hostess and waiter this time. Great piano in basement which was new to us. Food excellent."

  • "Piano bar, perfect steaks, oysters Rockefeller. Nothing new and inventive just a great, honest "old standards" steakhouse. Wood paneling, soft lighting, great service, perfect martinis. No euro tech or ultra modern harsh lighting here. I visit Spokane a few times a year and this is the first time that I have eaten at Churchill's, but it won't be my last. Churchill's has just become my "regular spot" when I'm in town. Cheers!"

  • "Churchill's is consistently a great choice for quality food and excellent service."

  • "It was a wonderful change from the noisy lunch places usually available for lunch. The food selection was balanced with a great selection of choices and the price point was very reasonable for the portion size. It gave part of our group to see and experience Churchhill's without the expensive chance of a dinner menu. It would also be a nice and impressive place to take a client for a nice business lunch."

  • "I am a die hard Churchill's fan. I've been several times and loved it. This time it was not up to it's previous high standards. The menu change from the awesome mashed potatoes to the mediocre potato cake was not a good change. The steaks were tender but overpowered by the taste with too much black pepper. Perhaps they changed the chef or he had a bad day. We all had different cuts of meat and all were too peppery. Sad to say I can no longer recommend them."

  • "We took our son to Churchill's for his combination college graduation and military send off as was is headed into the United States Army the following Monday. The meal was fantastic and the atmosphere was wonderful, as always, but having key members of the staff come by and congratulate our son on his graduation and thanking him for his pending service was much appreciated. Overall, Churchill's is the finest restaurant in Spokane."

  • "Notable wine list and food was spectacular. Arrived 15 minutes early but were seated right away. Waiter gave excellent service. Next course arrived just as we were finishing our last. Perfect. Will definitely go again when we are in town."

  • "Churchills is not a place where most of us can go as often as we'd like, but for that special occasion or a special date night it is worth every penny. For several years in a row now my husband and I have celebrated our anniversary at Churchills. We love all of it. And make the evening last as long as possible to really enjoy ourselves. By far the best steaks around. Melt in your mouth. Service is fantastic and we feel as though we are treated special. Great food, wine, and service. The atmosphere is also warm and inviting."

  • "Our meal was fabulous! We orderded 4 cowboy ribs and 1 t-bone! The t-bone was slightly better, but I nearly cried when I tasted the rib eye. It was that good! We also ordered mushrooms, creamed spinach, and asparagus with hollandaise type sauce. They were fabulous, as well. The signature dessert was incredible, and a couple of us had a hot apple drink drink that awesome, as well! Our server was FABULOUS! Might have been one of the best we have had ever! Also a side note, when I made our reservations on line, I accidentally put down Friday, when we actually needed Saturday. They called when we were running late and when I told them, they just moved it with out any trouble! BEST NIGHT out in a long time!"

  • "I wanted to try this restaurant and thought the "Miss - Steaks night would be a good way to try it. I was sadly mistaken. Our steaks were severely under cooked, fatty, & grisly. The waiter was not pleasant, to top it all off I was charged for three meals instead of two, they fixed this of course but seriously if i hadn't paid attention and caught it i would have paid 20 dollars over...The whole experience was very disappointing."

  • "On a whim, I made a reservation for my wife and I and had an excellent experience. I am fortunate enough to be able to eat at a lot of different high end steak houses and Churchill's rates up there with some of the best I have eaten at. The steaks were prepared well and the sides were excellent. Our server was a bit slow, but she made up for it with a great attitude and personality. This was our first time eatng here and we will definitely be back."

  • "We celebrated my husbands retirement and couldn't have had a better time. The couple we brought with us for the celebration are still talking about how nice it was. My husband was surprised but loved every minute of it. After dinner we went down to the piano bar and continued having a great time with an after dinner drink and enjoyed the great piano music. It will be a fond memory for us and thank you so much!"

  • "We have dined here a few times, the steaks are quite good. It has a nice quiet atmosphere. But......upscale restaurants should be accompanied by SUPERIOR service. A patron should NEVER have to get up from their table to find out who or when anyone is actually going to say hello or even simply bring water. We like the place, we like the food. We are not however, certain that we will return. This is NOT Denny's or an outback steak house. The service should be SUPERIOR , it wasn't. One should not have to complain in order to get the staff to simply do their job."

  • "Great food, service and ambiance. We went for a birthday celebration and had a fabulous evening with amazing steaks and side dishes. The creme brulae was a perfect cap to the festivities. We will definately be going again, soon."

  • "We had the best service and food at this grand restaurant. The house was remodeled recently and it has a great contemporary but classic feel. So nice in a restaurant that has a long history in a small town. We will definitely return the next time we are in Spokane. Our waitress was over the top personable, very knowledgeable about the food and the area in general. Our plates were perfect and all in all we feel we had an exceptional dining experience."

  • "Wife and I sat on a long bench with others...not our own table..waiter left our drinks empty on several ocassions. Steak was filled with gristles..wife had to send hers back as her medium well steak was still bloody. Waiter was snobby but hostess was sweet and parking very easy."

  • "Ordered the 14 oz Rib Eye Steak cooked medium rare. The steak was tougher than expected. Normally the Rib Eye is a well marbled piece of meat however the one looked and tasted like it was sliced off a Baron of Beef. I would have expected that this cut would have been previously sliced to size, aged and cooked over an open type of fire rather than a flat iron grill. The presented cut lacked the usual cross-hatch marks significant with the open grill. The rest of the meal was excellent as was the wait staff."

  • "I was overall pleased by the food and service at Churchill's Steakhouse. The sliced sirloin that I had was delicious and the peppercorn sauce was a very nice complement. The snap peas were also delicious. The garlic mashed potatoes were passable. It may be that I prefer a baked potato with a steak. The waitress was excellent and accommodated my every need even to the refreshing of my cocktail when I noted that it was a little too strong for me since I rarely order alcoholic drinks. The creme brule dessert was outstanding. I also enjoyed the piano in the background. It is a classic dining experience."
