  • "Our food was good. My seafood plate came to the table with hot halibut but the lobster tail was only warm. My tortilla soup was real good but also came to the table only slightly warm. The waiters and waitresses we observed were geared to a younger crowd, but very nice. Our experience was good but not great. We have eaten at Christopher's downtown in the past and have always had an excellent experience."

  • "The food was amazing! The sautéed lobster tails with tomato and asparagus were absolutely outstanding. The booths are comfortable and high backed which provided a more intimate setting. The place settings were elegant without being pretentious, and the overall feeling of the restaurant was very comfortable. This was our first trip to Christophers, and we will certainly become regulars!"

  • "My wife and I have heard good things about this restaurant, but that must be the SLC location not the Draper. We did not enjoy the experience at all. The food was not prepared well, like we were at a cooking school instead of at a fine dining restaurant. I had the Medallions which were warm at best and a baked potato that was not warm and very starchy or gummy inside. Seriously, I've had a better baked potato from Wendy's. My wife's steak was ordered medium well but was a brick of charcoal, plus it was cold. She also ordered a side of jumbo shrimp scampi, also cold and fishy tasting. The highlight of our experience was the appetizer. which was a jumbo shrimp cocktail, which was supposed to be cold. I do admit my clam chowder was good."

  • "We were greeted at the door by a lady in jeans and a casual blouse that had a tank top you could see underneath. Her nametag had "owner" on it. It was a real turn-off. Our waitress was amazing, but I fear poor ownership may drive her out. She came to us to let us know about a change to our order, but we had made no change to our order. Evidently the owner had gone to another table, changed the order and told our waitress the wrong table number. Our waitress felt so bad about the mixup. Also, we had a gift certificate and a coupon that made the meal zero out. The waitress said she was unable to add a tip through our credit card - bummer, but good thing we had cash or that poor waitress would have been stiffed. Great staff. Poor ownership."

  • "My husband and I tried this restaurant for his birthday last year up in SLC and wanted to go there again this year. The service, food. ambiance was absolutely amazing. I made a reservation in draper ut since it is a lot closer to where we live and our expectations were very high. We walked into first being greeted by the hostess wearing jeans and a sweater, our server acted like she was twelve, the service felt like we were at Denny's, our empty dishes were not cleared, she was not familiar with the menu, she kept using the word "sweetie" and our drinks were always empty. Not professional at all. Although the food is always outstanding. So, If you want to experience this restaurant go up to SLC, not the draper location."

  • "I wasn't expecting much since the location is in a strip mall but was very satisfied. Both my Wife and I had very good Apps, salads and steaks for Dinner. Service was spot on and we were able to take our time to eat and not rushed to turn over table.Restaurant was moderately busy but he didn't roll her eyes or hesitate which was awesome. Steaks were cooked perfectly and absolutely great meal front to back.... Was there for a life event and asked the hostess if we could move to a booth which was more private and she obliged without blinking an eye."

  • "Our dinner was very disappointing. Our table was crowded and uncomfortably close to other diners. The plates, glasses, and silverware were cafeteria quality with tacky raffia tied napkins. We ordered the artichoke appetizer which arrived soggy and soaked in balsamic syrup. Salad was served with imitation bacon bits and bottled blue cheese dressing. Steak fries were whole potatoes cut into fourths - dry and unseasoned. Please pass on dessert as our frozen berries over ice cream was unremarkable and delivered with berry juice dripping everywhere. We dined without steak knives (yes, this is a steak house). The steak knives were being washed, so we mangled our steaks throughout dinner with our butter knives. We won't be going back."

  • "Better off going to Longhorn Steakhouse or better yet Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. Greeting was not customer service friendly, got seated and wasn't helped for 8 minutes (yes we counted) and when we finally were acknowledged, it was like we we're an inconvenience like we weren't in the right section. The manager we felt did not handle a situation with the table next to us properly or even professionally. I ordered their herbed butter pasta with my filet and let's just say they drenched the pasta with minced garlic that only one bite was more than enough and the steak was gritty, not worth the money they charge. Overall just very disappointed with what we paid for what we got in our 1st visit here and our last."

  • "Ordered the prixe fixe, comes with an appetizer and dessert but the server never brought either. Asked for an adjustment to only make the meal cost what it would have which was $6 less. Discounted two dollars off of it. Got the prime robe which was $28 for twelve ounces in the meal ordered it was 10 ounces. Should have only had to pay for the prime rib not the prixe fixe meal."

  • "We did enjoy our dinner earlier this week. The place was nice inside, if odd to be attached to a strip mall. No complaints about the service. Some of the food was excellent and some was okay. Our Beef medallions were tender and cooked just right and the sauce was delicious. My mashed potatoes were very good, my husband's herbed pasta okay. Our wedge salads were very good, but I'd say I've had better. We shared a creme brulee for dessert and while the flavor was decent, we didn't like the texture--it wasn't creamy, it was more gelatinous, like a flan. So does everything have to be perfect? No, but at those prices I'd say it would have to be closer to excellent for every element for me to want to come back and spend money there."

  • "WE GO TO CHRISTOPHER'S ALL OF THE TIME, BUT FOR SOME REASON FRIDAY NIGHT, FEBRUARY 13, 2014, WE ATE IN THE SPORTS BAR AND HAD TO WAIT QUITE A WHILE, PEOPLE THAT CAME IN AFTER WE DID GET SERVED THEIR FOOD A LOT EARLIER THAN WE DID AND WE HAD A RESERVATION, ALSO THE BAKED POTATOES THAT BOTH ME AND MY PARTNER HAD WERE COLD AND UNDER COOKED AND OUT FILETS WERE TOUGH, ALSO THE BREAD WAS NOT BROUGHT UNTIL WE WERE HALF WAY THROUGH OUR MEAL. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED SO IT WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING FOR BOTH OF US. WE WILL RETURN, BUT IF THIS HAPPENS AGAIN WE WILL FIND A NEW FAVORITE PLACE."

  • "The Chicken was extremely dry. The server didn't check up on us till 20 mins after we got our food, so I just went ahead and ate it. I was hungry and didn't want to wait for a new entree. When my husband told the server he just said "oh sorry, I'll let them know the feedback". My husband ordered the coconut halibut and absolutely loved it. I'm not a huge fan of fish, but wish I would have ordered it instead. Overall disappointed with the food and the service. For what you pay I expected better service and better food."

  • "The service was very slow and one of our dishes was forgotten. The waitress apologized but never brought it. They didn't refill our water unless we asked most high end restaurants constantly refill your water glasses. Two of us had leftovers and she boxed the food in one box. We were busy talking while she boxed the food but were surprised she mixed the food into one box. Now we have a mixture of mashed potatoes and wild rice along with two different steaks. We thought the food was good but the service could be better."

  • "We arrived 5 minutes before our reservation. We waited to be seated for 15 minutes after our reservation time. Our order was taken 15 minutes after we sat down, the waitress said she had forgotten about us. The waitress came to our table 20 minutes after taking our order and said that a big group's order was ahead of us and that was the cause of the delay, if she had taken our order in a timely fashion this would not have been an issue. Our food finally came 30 minutes after we ordered. There was a couple who was seated 5 minutes after us sitting by us. Their food came 25 minutes before ours did, they had a different wait person. We would never go back to eat at Christopher's."

  • "we enjoy going here, especially when they have Groupons. Good food, sometimes great food. Good ambiance, and a great place to go on a nice date, though I can't figure out why I keep seeing people show up in very casual clothes - the inside of this place and its ambiance seems to clearly communicate that it is not Ok to have tennis shoes, average jeans and an untucked average polo."

Had to find the server to get water refilled. Not worth going back to endure this again when you pay their prices for a meal."

  • "The ribeye and prime rib were delicious. Great marbling in the ribeye and the prime rib melted in our mouth. The bread was warm and delicious with the sweet butter - we asked for seconds. We went because we had a coupon since the prices are rather high. The salad was good as was the stuffed backed potato."

  • "We went for the prime rib, only served Fri. and Sat. We were there early on a Fri. and they were already out! Also, my lemonade tasted old, my husbands baked potato was gross, the bacon on his medallions was barely cooked and my steak was mostly fat. We also had 2 gift cards and they would only let us use one. Aren't gift cards just like cash? I also observed lots of problems around us. I'm not sure what the issues were, but at the table next to us the waiter kept apologizing and swapping out their food and another table had the manager come talk to them for quite a while. There are so many other steak houses I would choose to go to before I would go to Christopher's again."

  • "Having heard a couple of nice reviews, my wife and I were excited to done here. The service was excellent, but the rest was less than expected. There was an extremely noisy and distracting seminar/investing group event which greatly took away from the ambiance. It also seemed that the event took away from the quality of the food as both of the sides brought with our entrées were cold. This was also the case with our steak house chili. My wife ordered a well done filet and was disappointed to discover it was pink throughout and couldn't finish it. Overall this was not what we had come to expect and was a disappointment ."

  • "The menu for the draper location website was drastically different from the menu at the restaurant. The salads were fresh, and nice. The artichokes were poorly cooked and painful to eat. I noticed other tables had bread. We were not served bread until we asked. My son's filet mignon was amazing. The rest of us suffered with steaks that were supposed to be medium and came out very rare. One lobster was perfectly cooked, the other was rubbery and inedible. My meal included ice cream which I never received, but was glad to skip."

  • "This was our Anniversary dinner and we had reservations. We were seated under the brightest light in the restaurant and then completely forgotten. Finally a couple sitting next to us noticed that we had been overlooked and they said something to their waiter. I ordered the rib-eye with buttered noodles. My noodles tasted sweet. The waitress asked the cook what was used in the noodles. She came out with a breakdown of ingredients. No offer to substitute. I told her to bring something else. She returned with another side of noodles. I tried them again, they were still sweet. She explained that the manager had tasted them and couldn't figure out what made them sweet. Surprised that the manager had chosen to hide in the kitchen."

  • "I had heard that Christopher's was fine steakhouse and was interested in trying it. I wen to the Draper Utah location. I was little disappointed with the service or lack there of, we had to wait to get our order taken and felt the server hadnt been trained properly, when asking for suggestions. The food was average, but the prices where not average. I had a prepaid coupon for $50 I paid $25 for, if I would have paid full price, I would have felt ripped off, as the food was not that good. Our bake potato wasn't all the way cooked, our steaks was fair."

  • "I loved that this restaurant was not crowded. Atmosphere was good. Prime rib was great. Wedge salad was marginal. We had a party of 8 and thee were many open tables around us. The service was not what I would have expected. Drinks were empty, had to ask twice for more horseradish, and once finished, it took forever to get our bill paid. I can understand this when a restaurant is crowded and understaffed, but this did it seem to be the case the night that we went."

  • "My husband and I went to Christopher's in Draper for our anniversary dinner. We got there at 5:00, and had to wait a few minutes for someone to notice they had customers. They were out of the wine I ordered, so I chose another one. I had the artichoke appetizer with balsamic sauce. Delicious, but messy to eat. My husband's steak, which he ordered "pink," was well-done. I had the steak tournedos and shrimp combo. Didn't care for the raspberry sauce on the steak. I must say the food and the whole experience was not as good as the last time we were there. Our total bill was $100 (with the tip), and I wouldn't call this a $100 meal."
