  • "We had reservations for 6:45 on a Saturday night. We were seated promptly. Unfortunately, they were already out of their rib eye cut and their Kansas cut. It's a steakhouse, it's a bit ridiculous when early in the night they are out of certain cuts. We had been their twice before and found the quality superior and the prices comprable to that quality and we were willing to pay it. According to our memory they have raised their prices and I just don't feel those prices are worth the food. The food is still wonderful so people who feel $50 for an entree is reasonable will have no problem with this restaurant. Assuming they have the cut you want."

  • "The food was excellent. The service was okay. Our waitress was very nice, but my water glass was empty for quite a while. I'm not sure why since, for most of our meal, we were the only people in the restaurant. There are no windows inside, which I note because I prefer a restaurant with a view. It was hot inside; they seemed to be having problems with the AC."

  • "My husband had the loveliest meal there last night. We both did the fixed price selection and got lobster wontons and fried artichokes to start. They were excellent. Next came a green salad with blue cheese dressing and as always, it was perfect. Both of us got the prime rib and mine was medium, his was medium well and both were perfect. We came home with so much food that I may just turn those leftovers into fajitas tonight. He had ice cream with berries and brought my chocolate torte home. Maybe I will have it tonight. I like Christopher's so much and feel grateful that we have them in Draper."

  • "This was our second time going to Christopher's in Draper. Was not as good as the first time but it was ok. Service was good - didn't ask what side I wanted and brought out something other than what I was going to order. They had a sales group in the private room; though they didn't disturb us it was weird being able to see the salesmen work while we tried to have a romantic dinner together. Food wasn't as good as the first time we went. My medium steak was actually well done and the waffle chip they decorated my potatoes with was like that burned chip you always find at the bottom of the bag of Ruffles. We'll go back and try again since this was such a contrast from last time."

  • "The food was good, but the menu I saw online wasn't offered. I was interested in the early evening deal (soup or salad, entrée and dessert) for one low price, but they changed their menu 2 weeks ago and now don't offer the deal. Oh well. The food I ordered was delicious."

  • "Christopher's in Draper looks out of place in a strip mall. However, the food is very good and the service is great. The menu differs somewhat from the Christophers in Salt Lake but is very good just the same. We had the Coconut Halibut and filet on the pre-fixe menu and both were very good. "

  • "My husband and I ordered an appetizer and didn't get it. My husband got my side and I got his. We couldn't just switch because they were incorporated into our dish with flavors and sauces. The waitress didn't offer to get it fixed or bring out extra sides that we ordered. Their Cajun sauce was horrible!! My husband will eat everything served to him but he couldn't finish his Cajun shrimp!! To make it worse he ordered that because the waitress recommended it and said it was great. "

  • "I loved my first experience at the DT old Christopher's... The seating, the waiter, the food, and the old school carved wood, ambiance... Then we went again after they moved to a modern deco tiered interior... It was good but the service seemed to ebb a bit... The food seemed more production line... Then we tried the Dealer locale... Sterile, slow, & unresponsive are the adjectives that come to mind... The lobster was pretty incredible though... Not worth the 100 dollars spent to be honest."

  • "The bar tender did not know the difference between a Martini and a Margarita. Waitress asked to see ID. Asked me if I wanted my Martini on the rocks or blended. Margaritas are blended or on the rocks. Still brought me out a Margarita. Tried to pass off a dirty martini as one of their signature Martinis. Did not know what Peppar Vodka was and then tried to add black pepper to it. Out of 3 wines we wanted. The excuse: Hadn't been to the liquor store. It was a Friday night. Greeted by a frumpy hostess wearing levis and a maternity top. Added extra to our bill, Should have given the bad drinks for free. The food was just OK for the price we paid ($180 for 2 people). A steakhouse of this caliber/reputation I was completely disappointed.. "

  • "My husband and I tried Christopher's for a date night. The service was good and it was very quiet and empty for a Saturday evening. We are very used to high end, good quality restaurants, especially steakhouses so we were excited to dig in. The ribeye was 'ok' at best. My baked potato was hard and undercooked. I will say that we enjoyed our calamari but that alone will not bring us back. Wish the food were better, especially after finding out that it's an award winning restaurant."

  • "The food was amazing! The sautéed lobster tails with tomato and asparagus were absolutely outstanding. The booths are comfortable and high backed which provided a more intimate setting. The place settings were elegant without being pretentious, and the overall feeling of the restaurant was very comfortable. This was our first trip to Christophers, and we will certainly become regulars!"

  • "Our food was good. My seafood plate came to the table with hot halibut but the lobster tail was only warm. My tortilla soup was real good but also came to the table only slightly warm. The waiters and waitresses we observed were geared to a younger crowd, but very nice. Our experience was good but not great. We have eaten at Christopher's downtown in the past and have always had an excellent experience."

  • "We were greeted at the door by a lady in jeans and a casual blouse that had a tank top you could see underneath. Her nametag had "owner" on it. It was a real turn-off. Our waitress was amazing, but I fear poor ownership may drive her out. She came to us to let us know about a change to our order, but we had made no change to our order. Evidently the owner had gone to another table, changed the order and told our waitress the wrong table number. Our waitress felt so bad about the mixup. Also, we had a gift certificate and a coupon that made the meal zero out. The waitress said she was unable to add a tip through our credit card - bummer, but good thing we had cash or that poor waitress would have been stiffed. Great staff. Poor ownership."

  • "My wife and I have heard good things about this restaurant, but that must be the SLC location not the Draper. We did not enjoy the experience at all. The food was not prepared well, like we were at a cooking school instead of at a fine dining restaurant. I had the Medallions which were warm at best and a baked potato that was not warm and very starchy or gummy inside. Seriously, I've had a better baked potato from Wendy's. My wife's steak was ordered medium well but was a brick of charcoal, plus it was cold. She also ordered a side of jumbo shrimp scampi, also cold and fishy tasting. The highlight of our experience was the appetizer. which was a jumbo shrimp cocktail, which was supposed to be cold. I do admit my clam chowder was good."

  • "My husband and I tried this restaurant for his birthday last year up in SLC and wanted to go there again this year. The service, food. ambiance was absolutely amazing. I made a reservation in draper ut since it is a lot closer to where we live and our expectations were very high. We walked into first being greeted by the hostess wearing jeans and a sweater, our server acted like she was twelve, the service felt like we were at Denny's, our empty dishes were not cleared, she was not familiar with the menu, she kept using the word "sweetie" and our drinks were always empty. Not professional at all. Although the food is always outstanding. So, If you want to experience this restaurant go up to SLC, not the draper location."

  • "I wasn't expecting much since the location is in a strip mall but was very satisfied. Both my Wife and I had very good Apps, salads and steaks for Dinner. Service was spot on and we were able to take our time to eat and not rushed to turn over table.Restaurant was moderately busy but he didn't roll her eyes or hesitate which was awesome. Steaks were cooked perfectly and absolutely great meal front to back.... Was there for a life event and asked the hostess if we could move to a booth which was more private and she obliged without blinking an eye."

  • "Our dinner was very disappointing. Our table was crowded and uncomfortably close to other diners. The plates, glasses, and silverware were cafeteria quality with tacky raffia tied napkins. We ordered the artichoke appetizer which arrived soggy and soaked in balsamic syrup. Salad was served with imitation bacon bits and bottled blue cheese dressing. Steak fries were whole potatoes cut into fourths - dry and unseasoned. Please pass on dessert as our frozen berries over ice cream was unremarkable and delivered with berry juice dripping everywhere. We dined without steak knives (yes, this is a steak house). The steak knives were being washed, so we mangled our steaks throughout dinner with our butter knives. We won't be going back."

  • "Better off going to Longhorn Steakhouse or better yet Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. Greeting was not customer service friendly, got seated and wasn't helped for 8 minutes (yes we counted) and when we finally were acknowledged, it was like we we're an inconvenience like we weren't in the right section. The manager we felt did not handle a situation with the table next to us properly or even professionally. I ordered their herbed butter pasta with my filet and let's just say they drenched the pasta with minced garlic that only one bite was more than enough and the steak was gritty, not worth the money they charge. Overall just very disappointed with what we paid for what we got in our 1st visit here and our last."

  • "Ordered the prixe fixe, comes with an appetizer and dessert but the server never brought either. Asked for an adjustment to only make the meal cost what it would have which was $6 less. Discounted two dollars off of it. Got the prime robe which was $28 for twelve ounces in the meal ordered it was 10 ounces. Should have only had to pay for the prime rib not the prixe fixe meal."

  • "WE GO TO CHRISTOPHER'S ALL OF THE TIME, BUT FOR SOME REASON FRIDAY NIGHT, FEBRUARY 13, 2014, WE ATE IN THE SPORTS BAR AND HAD TO WAIT QUITE A WHILE, PEOPLE THAT CAME IN AFTER WE DID GET SERVED THEIR FOOD A LOT EARLIER THAN WE DID AND WE HAD A RESERVATION, ALSO THE BAKED POTATOES THAT BOTH ME AND MY PARTNER HAD WERE COLD AND UNDER COOKED AND OUT FILETS WERE TOUGH, ALSO THE BREAD WAS NOT BROUGHT UNTIL WE WERE HALF WAY THROUGH OUR MEAL. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED SO IT WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING FOR BOTH OF US. WE WILL RETURN, BUT IF THIS HAPPENS AGAIN WE WILL FIND A NEW FAVORITE PLACE."

  • "The Chicken was extremely dry. The server didn't check up on us till 20 mins after we got our food, so I just went ahead and ate it. I was hungry and didn't want to wait for a new entree. When my husband told the server he just said "oh sorry, I'll let them know the feedback". My husband ordered the coconut halibut and absolutely loved it. I'm not a huge fan of fish, but wish I would have ordered it instead. Overall disappointed with the food and the service. For what you pay I expected better service and better food."

  • "We did enjoy our dinner earlier this week. The place was nice inside, if odd to be attached to a strip mall. No complaints about the service. Some of the food was excellent and some was okay. Our Beef medallions were tender and cooked just right and the sauce was delicious. My mashed potatoes were very good, my husband's herbed pasta okay. Our wedge salads were very good, but I'd say I've had better. We shared a creme brulee for dessert and while the flavor was decent, we didn't like the texture--it wasn't creamy, it was more gelatinous, like a flan. So does everything have to be perfect? No, but at those prices I'd say it would have to be closer to excellent for every element for me to want to come back and spend money there."

  • "The service was very slow and one of our dishes was forgotten. The waitress apologized but never brought it. They didn't refill our water unless we asked most high end restaurants constantly refill your water glasses. Two of us had leftovers and she boxed the food in one box. We were busy talking while she boxed the food but were surprised she mixed the food into one box. Now we have a mixture of mashed potatoes and wild rice along with two different steaks. We thought the food was good but the service could be better."
