For the price and reputation, though, the fruit on the desert should have been fresh. The portions could be better as well. As for the ambience, you couldn't ask for a better setting, then came the music. On a week night you'll have business people coming in for dinner. They are night and day. The downtown location is everything you expect from a fine dining restaurant. This was our first time eating here and we were all very pleased with the experience. The staff was very friendly and their service was excellent. The menu offerings were diverse and creative. We enjoyed a tasty "lobster corn dog" appetizer before dinner. We all had different steak meals and found that each one was cooked as ordered and delicious. We had a gift certificate and took our good friends out for a "thank you" date. We went early on a Sunday evening. There were not a lot of people there and the staff were very attentive. Our waiter, Jake, even turned down the music that was a bit too loud in our area. Jake was able to answer all of our questions about the menu and kept a pleasant attatude. The appatizer was enough for the four of us, which I appreciated very much. The clam chowder was the best I have had. Everyone enjoyed their food and said it was cooked to perfection. The creme brule' was so good, we almost ordered another round. The clam chowder was great, and the creme brulee was excellent. Pretty pricey, compared to my usual fare, so probably best suited to a special ocassion. Nice quiet, romantic atmosphere; the tables felt private without being secluded. Not kid friendly, but a nice place for a night away from the family. Very attentive servers. We went for my birthday, and it was nice being greeted with a happy birthday card on the table. Would definatly go back again!! Our waitress fun and sociable and Adrean greeted us when we came in and then took us on a tour of the resturant since we had only been to the old one by the Perry Hotel. Beautiful!

Never have we had calamari that was as tender and tasty as yours, and we've had a lot! The food was cooked to perfection! We were to full for dessert so Adrien gave us a certificate to come back!

Christopher's staff was extremely accommodating, provided excellent service, and even made suggestions to help make the surprise better. The food was fantastic with reasonable portions for the price.

On our last visit we celebrated my husbands birthday. We were greeted warmly, found a birthday card at our table & were served champagne for a birthday toast. The service was friendly & attentive. The food, as usual-perfectly delicious. Steaks-cooked exactly as ordered. We love the House salad & brussel sprouts. Our server surprised us with a special"flaming"apple/ice cream" dessert made just for us! Wonderful evening! For any special occassion let Christophers know you are coming. They will go above & beyond to make your evening spectacular.
