Christopher Daniel is fine dining in a casual atmosphere. We offer a wide range menu with steaks, fish, seafood and some light fare. We have a kids menu available. Menu prices range from $10-30. Private rooms also available. Reservations are recommended.

  • "A great spot for dinner, whether a special occasion, or just a meal out! In addition to the main dining room, with various sized tables, some round, some square, and three booths, they have a partially enclosed rear dining area for groups of a dozen or more people, (a few smaller tables in this area also, where we sat), and behind that, a private room with its own bar for larger group events. Erik, the manager, is a most welcoming and cordial host who circulates throughout the restaurant, to make sure that food and service meet up to diners' expectations. Our waiter, David, originally from North Carolina, was an attentive and friendly young man, and most accommodating to our needs. Christopher Daniel is not to be missed when in Timonium.."

  • "We don't go there often, but for the price, it's just OK. Food is fine, but doesn't knock your socks off. Food comes stacked, which I guess is the current rage, but nothing stood out. Waitress was friendly, but got real chatty with the table next to us and that was annoying. Ambience, being in a strip mall, is low. Decor is average, walls white, pictures crooked on the walls. Ehh. Take it or leave it, sorry to say."

  • "Had a GroupOn and used it at this establishment. We were greated with a Happy Birthday wish (info was included in Open Table Reservation) and that was a welcome treat. Food was well prepared and presented (two had the tenderloin and one the scallops). Waitress was attentive and friendly. All three had dessert (2 Key Lime pie...very tasty, 1 Baileys ice cream, would not recommend as it was very "grainy")."

  • "Not our first time here. Had appetizer and 2 lite fares. deconstructed seafood Cobb very tasty. Salmon blt not so good. Salmon burned on one side. Shoestring fries cold. No seasoning on slaw or calamari, sauces bland. Don't think we will be coming back."

  • "My wife and I would consider ourselves "foodies" and eat out often. We were recently in the mood for a Sunday Brunch and decided to try "Christopher Daniel" and what a good decision it was. At only $21.95/person which includes beverage (soft or Mimosa or Bloody Mary) you can't beat the value. The food was displayed and spatially arranged well. Everything was fresh and either hot or chilled appropriately. The cooked to order omelets were good but the "Culinary school" trained sous chef needs some more experience? The Prime Rib was one of the best and even better than the "Prime Rib" and just the right trim! The breakfast meats weren't greasy and the deserts were of good variety and delicious not just boxed from a commercial distributor."

  • "I have been many times and the food is consistent. Everything was good,but not over the top. I have ordered the tuna main course before,but they changed it a little and I liked the old way better. The restaurant looks tired and needs an uplift to make it more appealing. I had a groupon which made the price better, but it is not inexpensive."

  • "The interior is surprisingly nice, given it's strip mall setting. Bright but cozy. Our waitress was sweet. I mistakenly ordered the wrong salad and she replaced it graciously . Our service, overall was good, though other parties were not so lucky. One four occasions, patrons came up to the door to the kitchen to ask the staff for items (forks, their drink order). All this was not an issue to me. My salmon being overcooked was; it is a pet peeve of mine. A nice piece of fish, over delicious lobster risotto, as dry as a bone. It was a Sunday, maybe an off night, maybe not the chief cook. I would give it another try except my wife an I get to go out so infrequently, that I just can't waste the opportunity."

  • "Food was nothing special for the price you pay. While they have brunches on the weekend you can't even sit in the main restaurant to order from the menu. You have to sit in the bar area. Paying 80 dollars for 4 people to have burgers and beer (no more than 1 glass per person) was a bit too much for my budget. Now i know why don't go there often even though it is so close from my house."

  • "We received a pleasant greeting when we arrived and were promptly escorted to our tables as the receptionist hung up our coats. The food and presentation were great. The waitress was attentive to our needs and helpful in answering questions about the menu. Restaurant was relatively quiet affording us a leisurely dinner with great conversation. The variety of desserts was a good ending to a great meal."

  • "This is my third or fourth time to Christopher Daniel, and it never disappoints. I had the scallops with truffle butter, mashed potatoes, and asparagus and a glass of pinot noir. I used a Groupon. The service was great; the server was very friendly and on top of things. We went early in the evening, and it was pretty quiet. I definitely will go there again."

  • "My boyfriend and I visited Christopher Daniel for our Valentine dinner. We got there and could not decide what to get from the menu because all of the choices sounded really delicious. A friend of mine had already recommended the place so I had an idea about some of the dishes. We opted for the BBQ shrimp and cheese grits for our appetizer. It was very good. The bread the provide was really good too (ask my boyfriend he almost ate all of it by himself). For our entrees I got the roasted chicken and he got the Atlantic salmon. Not to our surprise everything was delicious. We really enjoyed our meal, our service and the environment of the restaurant. We're already planning our next visit."

  • "We frequent this restaurant several times a year. CD is in my top 5 list for special occasions. It may seem pricey, but you get what you pay for a great dining experience. My wife and I were here for Valentines day and they had a great special menu with excellent choices for everyone. We were dining with another couple and the ladies both had the crab cakes that were perfectly seasoned and loaded with plenty of lump crab meat. My friend had the salmon and I had the seared tuna dish, both to die for preparations. I highly recommend this jewel, if you haven't been here before book a table now."

The courses came at appropriate intervals. The food was very well presented and delicious. The restaurant is capacious. Our reservations were for 7 pm and the place was already quite busy.   • "My date and I dined at Christopher Daniel during Baltimore County's Restaurant Week. We entered and found a rather dated decor and an odd assortment of "art" on the walls. Hoping that this was not indicative of the experience we were seated in a very busy dining hall. It was very noisy and difficult to hold a conversation. Our waitress arrived relatively promptly but was a bit scattered. She explained the specials and the Restaurant Week menu. We both ordered from the pre fixe menu to get a sense of what the restaurant had to offer. Our salads, while full of a variety of vegetables, fruits, cheese, and nuts, lacked any noticeable flavor. The entree course was a very tough and thin cut of bison. It was very disappointing evening out."

  • "Tables packed in so tight we kept getting bumped every time someone came or left near us. The food was average and the steak had a sauce on it that should have been on the side. The broccoli was not enough for one person and was supposed to be for the table. It was literally about 20 cents worth and not the area a restaurant should go cheap. The caesar salad was very mayonnaise based and not authentic. Parking was very limited due to the large Happy Hour crowd in the Bar. Chicken Fingers and French Fries were excellent and this restaurant should stick to the lower cost food as this seems to be were they perform the best."

  • "We had never been to this place before, as we live in Harford County, but our friends had been there many times. The waitstaff and other staff were very friendly and went above and beyond for giving wine recommendations. We ordered from the Restaurant Week menu, which was outstanding. Except for one minor disappointment, each course was delicious: the pear salad, the goat cheese tortellini with duck confit, the rainbow trout, and the chocolate cake. We also tried the shrimp grits, which were wonderful. The wine recommendations were excellent. We would definitely go there again. It's good to know that the mostly dull Timonium restaurant scene has such a wonderful dining choice."

  • "We had dinner here for Winter Restaurant Week - Baltimore County. We were excited upon looking at their restaurant week menu and since we had not been here before we thought this was a great way to try out their food. The salads and appetizer courses were great and of good portion size. Our entrees were smaller than our appetizer portion size and over cooked. I feel that if the choices are what they wish to showcase then they need to offer more variety and different sides with the entree. My husband and I got different entrees but had the same sides. We each received approximately 3 oz. of meat and 3 tablespoons of mashed potatoes. I think that with a little variety & larger entree portion size we would have had a better experience."

  • "My wife and I were able to have a very enjoyable conversation because the noise level was very quiet. The service was outstanding. The entire staff move quickly and were efficient, polite, and well trained. The management obviously does a great job hiring and sorting out unsuitable waiters. The chef arranged a great four course menu with three appetizing selections in each course for celebrating Baltimore County Restaurant Week. I throughly enjoyed all of my selections. The next day I recommended Christopher Daniel to my son."
