  • "Everthing about Christner's is wonderful--the food, the beverages, the atmosphere and the staff! They offer a wide range of entrees so that all in a party will easily have a good selection to choose from. Appetizers are outstanding, as are side dishes. Service is thoughtful and considerate. We were celebrating my sister's birthday and Chrisner's delightfully surprised our table with birthday cake and ice cream...yum!"

  • "Never have had a bad meal at Christner or Del Frisco. Would have prefer another name like DEL'S STEAK HOUSE. Expensive but a great place for a special occasion or just a great meal. I eat at Ruth's and Flemings often but nothing beats the del or Christners. Everything is always good."

  • "This was our second time at Christner's. We were celebrating a birthday and a visit from a relative from Amsterdam. They are classy without any false airs. The servers are friendly and helpful. They are not disingenuous as you might find at Ruth's Chris or Roy's. Everyone enjoyed their prime beef dinners and absolutely loved the side dishes. Another quality that I enjoyed was that they did not throw gift cards for future visits at you as other high-end restaurants do. They are confident in the product that they serve and the service that they provide. Personally, I appreciate that."

  • "My friends and I have been frequenting Christners (formerly known as Del Friscos) for around 20 years. The food, atmosphere and service are always great....its pricey, but the portions are generous and sharing is not frowned on. Christners is and will continue to be one of our 'go to' places."

  • "We have never had a bad experience here. We usually go for special occasions and we decided we just deserved it and didn't need a special occasion. It is such a great place to go for food, wine and just an awesome environment. Melanie was our server again and she is simply amazing. The servers make you feel like family and always accommodate anything you ask for. She was also very helpful on how to reheat our left overs. They really go above and beyond to make for a memorable dining choice. Looking forward already to our next visit."

  • "I've never been disappointed with a meal here…best steaks in town and good side items as well. Don't leave without getting the fried oysters as well ..."

  • "Christner's was exactly what we were anticipating when we researched great steak houses in Orlando. We wanted great steak cooked perfectly with awesome sides and fine wine and we got exactly that! Our server was very knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. My husband got the lobster and said it was the best he's ever had! It was huge, cooked perfectly, and so fresh tasting, it could have just been flown in. My favorite steakhouse is still Jeff Ruby's, but this is definitely second on the list. Thanks Christner's for not disappointing!"

  • "The last time we went here this place was a Del Friscos and we loved it then. Well we still love it. Our steaks may have been the best we've ever had there. With an impressive list of single malt scotch, a friendly and knowledgeable staff and brilliant food coming from the kitchen, we never have to question where we should go for any occasion. Bad weather forced us to be late for our reservation but they didn't even bat an eye - they sat us right away just like we had meant to be there. Our waiter was on top of everything all night - knowing when to let us be alone and still making sure we never wanted for anything. He even bought our dessert (Mandarin orange cake - get it!) As it was our 28th anniversary dinner. Wev love this place!"

  • "Had early reservation at piano side. Seated promptly. Scott was excellent server. We have been here many many times on on business dinners. I ordered lobster tail and 8 oz filet to go along with my wife's 6oz Carol's steak. Steaks were order pink warm center. They were like hard left over roast beef. Should have sent them back but I hate that! Someone needs to check them before they come out. Still best lobster you can find as was the spinach. The orange cake cooked on premises was the very best and complimentary for my wife's birthday. Too bad our steaks were not the same."

  • "We have eaten at Christners for many years. They are the most consistent and best steak restaurant in town. The tuna is an under appreciated gem here also....perfectly prepared w great wasabi sauce. I have not had a bad steak here in 20 years. Staff always gracious and helpful. Visit Christners. You won't be disappointed"

  • "Definitely the best food I have ever had! Crab cake with lobster sauce was delicious, as was the lobster bisque with big chunks of lobster in it. Our beef Wellington was cooked to perfection & so tender. Definitely a special occasion place & well worth the fine dining experience. Will definitely be back!"

  • "My boyfriend and I had the most enjoyable evening. We ate at delfrisco's in Vegas and loved it. We were hoping this would be the same (since it was formerly delfrisco's) but it was better. This is definitely worth it. Great experience."

  • "Birthday dinner with my 94 year old father and family. Service from Luigi was fabulous! Calamari appetizer was excellent. Sides, family style were great, especially the Mac n cheese. The steaks, ribeye's and a filet were just good. Too much pepper, and a smidge overdone from med rare. Overall a very good experience. If you go, ask for Luigi."

  • "The out the door price was $264, with no drinks purchased. That is way too much for the quality of food that we received. We shared the filet mignon 12 oz. and the 14 ounce lobster tail. The steak was well prepared, but not melt in your mouth, as we had hoped for. The lobster tail, @ $7 an ounce was really, really tough, with very little taste. I would never spend $98 again for the lobster tail. I was told that the smallest lobster available was 14 oz, but the couple across from us were told 12 oz. Two different servers, but the information should be the same. Also, we were charged extra for sharing the shrimp appetizer. I don't mind paying, just be upfront about it."

  • "The food is incredible, the wait staff is impeccable. The problem I have had twice is that we are at a very small table for three adults. The last time we sat at a cocktail table and it was impossible to get all of the food on the table. We asked to move, there wasn't any space available to move. On another special occasion, we were seated next to the restrooms and server area. I asked that we move because I didn't want to sit near the bathroom or server area. Again, no space available to move; I mentioned this when we were seated; the hostess was annoyed and never came back to let me know if we could be moved; I had to find her. For this kind of money, we will dine elsewhere - sorry."

  • "Nice steakhouse that needs a redo very dated and dark. Food was very good especially the creamed spinach must be the best I have ever had in a steakhouse"

  • "Went for our anniversary. The ambience, the food, and the service were all great. Each time we've been here, our entire experience has always been top-notch. Enjoyed everything: lobster bisque was delightfully thick & creamy with lots of lobster chunks; our steaks were prepared exactly the way we asked; both our fresh steamed broccoli & chunky lobster mac-n-cheese were perfect; and our orange cake dessert was a pleasant and delicious surprise; more than enough to share. Great folks delivering on their promise to provide us a first-class dining experience. Well done."

  • "While this place donned the name Del Frisco for a long time and might have gotten the odd visit from people who knew that name, those really in the know have been coming for what's inside. Our last visit was typical of what we've had each time there, over many years. Great cocktails and wine, terrific food and wonderful service. While I wish we went more often, this is our 'top shelf treat' and we celebrated our anniversary. And in addition to the great dining experience, we were wished a happy anniversary by Miss Carole and it made the night perfect."

  • "It had been a while since we dined here. When I made my reservation I forgot to request a table away from the bar. We were seated at a table by the piano but next to the doorway to the bar. A few loud guys in the bar must have been there since Happy Hour. The pianist played nice, soft background music until a couple sat at the piano bar. Another two couples walked up to the piano while waiting for their table. Then the music got loud and the piano player started singing. When the two couples sat at their table and the first couple left, the music toned down again. Great food, though. Beef Wellington was excellent as was my steak and the lobster bisque. Service was very good. A manager never stopped by our table to see if everything was OK."

  • "My wife and I went to Christner's for the first time after living in Orlando for years; we had no idea what we were missing out on! They are known for their steaks, but everything we had was delicious. Notably, the crab cakes, chateau potatoes and ahi seared tuna. Of course, the filet was to die for. The ambiance was a unique combination of upscale-without-being-stuffy and laid back. We'll be back soon!"

  • "This was a birthday dinner. The reception was not at all crisp, zero eye contact! My wife asked if they had an orange Martini and the server said she would check with the bartender, she came back and asked how she wanted it....She changed the order to a Gin and Tonic and the server then stated they had great martini's and started to rattle them off....note to management; perhaps a drink menu for your guests???? Food was good, wedge salad was OK, more bacon and blue cheese which the server said was fabulous had few if any blue cheese chunks. We stated when we ordered the steak could be sliced for us, the server brought it and asked how. Good meal Good service, a bit less than I would expect at a top end steak house! "

  • "The last time I dined here it was called Del Frisco s. I was very impressed with the remolding. The service was great, attentive but not overbearing. The steaks were done to perfection and met my high expectations for taste and quality. Great venue for out of town guests and special occasions. I would recommend Christner's. "
