Diner Reviews
  • "This is truly a great restaurant. Pasta is as it should be perfectly al dente. Sauces are all great. I had Chilean Sea Bass which is not something I would typically order at an Italian restaurant, but it was superb - on a bed of delicious shrimp rizotto. Torn between that and the Fra Diavolo - next time. Service was excellent and genuinely enthusiastic and helpful in serving us. Alcohol prices were a little crazy, but otherwise, perfect. Thank you."

  • "This dinner was very special and even more so made special with excellent service that we received. As soon as you walk in you forget that your in Florida it feels like your in Italy in a high class restaurant. The waiters we very attentive and very knowledgable with the menu and specials. Definately will be returning for another special occasion."

  • "If dining experiences were a horserace, then Christini's would be a KY Derby winner!! Absolutely the best Italian dining ever enjoyed by these two Kentuckians!! Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. Very romantic, exquisite dining. Our meals were true authentic Italian dishes prepared perfectly. The tuxedoed staff added an elegant flair to their efficient and friendly service. The decor truly beautiful. The roving musician brought tears to our eyes and joy to our hearts when he played My Old Kentucky Home on his accordion. A very memorable evening and one we intend to repeat whenever our travels lead to Orlando."

  • "i brought my girlfriend here for our anniversary and it was certainly a night to remember. the food was great, the way the tables were placed gave the place a very homey feel. the ambiance, even though there were people all around us, made it feel like we were the only two there. the restaurant is a bit expensive but completely worth it."

  • "From the time we entered, the service was superb, the decor was subdued and tasteful. We ordered and the food came in excellent service. My Caesar salad was perfect. The Pinot Grigio I had with it superb. My wife.s traditional Italian bean soup was excellent she said. Then my main-veal chop, perfectly breaded with just the right spices mixed in. Sumptuous. As fine a dining experience as we have had in Orlando. Not cheap (an understatement) but worth every penny."

  • "Great food! Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for top notch italian food in Orlando!"

  • "Food was outstanding and worth the expense. Service was great and the whole experience was what a fine dining establishment should be. Minor complaint- decor is a bit too stuffy for my taste."

  • "We were in town for NCAA B-Ball tourney and haven't been here for a few years and it's actually better than I remembered. Truly an outstanding restaurant."
    Dined on 3/21/2014
  • "The quality of the food was superb, but compared to other restaurants in Orlando, this place is overpriced. Especially the wine menu, they could easily place some high quality wines on the menu in the $40-70 range. Most wines on the menu were $99 and up. To top it off, our waiter spilled some wine when pouring and he did not apologise or offer some form of compensation. At their prices, we lost $20 of wine."

  • "Our service was attentive and lightening fast -- too fast. It was clear they wanted to turn our table and we felt rushed out of there. They were nice and the food was good, but I like a more relaxed evening."

  • ""Fabulous" is the only word to describe this restaurant. We travel to Orlando four or five times a year and have been known to have dinner there every night. The Chicken Parmigianino is the best in the United States. The shrimp and the lobster Fra diablo are incredibly good and the veal chop is to die for, I could go on and on, Some might think the prices are high, but the food is worth every penny and then some. Consistency is their mantra, after more than a dozen visits I have never had a meal that was not excellent and the service is impeccable. What's better, you are treated like family at your first visit. I have yet to find a better Italian restaurant anywhere in the US and I have tried coast to coast."

  • "This was by far the best dining experience I have ever had!! I've never been to such an outstanding (in every way) restaurant!!! The food, the service, the atmosphere, everything was over the top, down to the red rose I received at the end of the evening! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone and look forward to the day that I can return!!!"

  • "Food and service was great very over priced but great. My party of 4 reservation was at 8pm, did not seat until 8:50, left at 11pm."

  • "Our second trip here and just as good. Ask brian, the wine manager for recommendation as he always has a good one. We tried to stump the accordion player with some pink Floyd but he knew those tunes too. Another remarkable evening with great food, fabulous wine and excellent service."

  • "Great food Best service ever. Homemade pasta and sauce for appetizer. Very nice dinner. Will return soon. We are from Canada and this place was recommend by the Ritz."

  • "We were a party of 4 for a business dinner; everyone enjoyed the meal, but if you aren't a veal eater (many aren't for humanitarian reasons) there are few alternatives. Three of our group had veal and loved it. The veal chop was a big hit. The ravioli was wonderful and a great vegetarian alternative - creamy cheese filling with a really nice pink cream sauce. The appetizers were delicious, although the melon with prosciutto was served with honeydew rather than the traditional cantaloupe. The only annoyance was we ordered a $200 bottle of wine that needed decanting and the waiter kept coming over every couple minutes to try and pour despite being told we needed the wine to rest a good 20 minutes and would have it with our main course."

  • "Had the bone-in Veal Chop Parmigiana. It was outstanding. Dined with 3 others who loved their meals as well. Sommelier was very attentive and we enjoyed his selections very much. It is a vibrant dining scene. Only negative is that it is probably the most expensive entree (that wasn't lobster) that I have ever had. $60 for my Veal Chop...but it was a fabulous evening regardless."

  • "This is an Italian restaurant that is designed to look like someone older than 60 was taught a romantic Italian restaurant should look. Waiters in tuxedo's, maître d' with a moustache. And a man with an accordion playing at each table. And a menu that could be right out of the 1960's. Don't look for any modern touches or a modern (more authentic) Italian menu. Oh, and be ready for a plate of spaghetti that costs $28 and steak that costs $57. The people were friendly and they have free valet. So, if you want to remember what is was like to go out to eat after a Frank Sinatra concert in 1963, this is your place."

  • "One of the finest Italian restaurants on the planet. Veal parm was on the bone and amazing. Ambience amazing. Roaming accordion player plays modern hits as well as classics. Hearing an Adele tune on the accordion was amazing. Wait staff reminds of 5 star resort staff from my childhood. Rarely does a wait staff get trained this well. This restaurant shows off its AAA 4 Diamond rating, my only question is why AAA did not deliver the 5th Diamond. Great restaurant if you want a dining experience you will talk about for years!!!"

  • "This was our first time dining at Christini's and after much anticipation we were not disappointed at all. Our server (Roberto) was the most pleasant and attentive we have experienced in a very long time. The entrees and the wine were a little pricey but oh so good. My little valentine and I will certainly visit again."

  • "Without any hesitation, Chistini's is one of the best restaurants in the country. The food is beyond compare, and the service is fantastic. They staff and Chris make you feel like you are an old friend every time, and go well beyond just providing great service. Anything you want is available by simply asking. You can't get better anywhere in Orlando!! Highly recommended."

  • "Our group of six business associates were sat at a round table appropriate for the group size allowing comfortable conversation without having to raise our voices. The menu provided many wonderfully described entrees, which made choosing a main course a fun event. Four of us selected the Chilean sea bass, one had the filet mignon in Barolo sauce and the other Costata di Vittelo alla parmigiani. We were all very pleased with our food choices. The preparation was perfect as was the presentation. We accompanied our meals wth a Cakebread cabernet savignon, which never disappoints."

  • "Excellent food, excellent service. The ambiance makes you feel like you are in a little Italian town. The accordion player rotates from table to table taking requests! We moved from the restaurant to the bar for dessert and the bartender was very friendly and attentive."

  • "This will be our go to restaurant every time we are in Orlando. Food was wonderful, wine great, and above all the service. Is outstanding"

  • "We went to Christini's with a friend from out of town who is a great lover of Italian food. Our party was promptly greeted by the host (in Italian) and seated. Overall, we found the ambiance of the place very nice but the accordion was a bit loud at times. We thought food was very good but not worthy of its lofty price point. An appetizer for 3 that included 3 small plates of pasta, 3 shrimp, and a plate of fried calamari was $82.99! The drinks were even worse....$20 for a Ketel One martini is almost unheard of anywhere in Florida. Entrees we had included veal parmesan and lobster fra diavolo which were outstanding. Again, enjoyed the food and service, but would not return until the prices come down out of the stratosphere."

  • "The minute you walk into Christini's you are treated as an honored guest. Even though the restaurant is located in a modern mall, the ambience inside is old world. Beautiful, warm...inviting. Great service and attentiveness from the staff. Great food. You pay for all this though. It is expensive, but for the special occasion, it is worth it. Lynn loved the rose, and remembers them our visits in the past."

  • "It was good food and somewhat brisk but courteous service. The interior and wine list both belied its location and were pleasant surprises. Unfortunately, the price matched all these qualities, with a dinner for six going into four digits... This place is for a really special occasion."

  • "Expect to be transported to Old World Italy and be treated like nobility. Expensive, but once your consider the full experience; the combined outstanding service, food and ambience, you will feel that it was time and money well spent."

  • "My party was very surprised to find this strip mall restaurant to be so upscale! Wait staff in tuxedos, excellent accordion music available at your table and extremely delicious Italian food. A must visit in Orlando, FL."
    Dined on 1/19/2014
  • "The dinner was way over priced for the quality. We will not return. I had the lobster and shrimp special that was greasy and not worth the $75. Drinks were way expensive as well. We consider ourselves foodies, but this ranked very low on the list for value and quality"

  • "We has been told this was an amazing restaurant. While the service was wonderful, the food was just fair. My husband had the soup which was bland. The Caesar salad didn't have much flavor either. For main courses he had the cheese ravioli and I had the bass with shrimp risotto. Neither lived up to expectations leaving us wanting."
