We had the extra added attraction of my four month old twin grandchildren with us and your restaurant couldn't be more accommodating ! The food was excellent as was the service . It was our first time sitting on the patio area of the restaurant. Always incredible food! Our server was having a tough time, and seemed a bit overwhelmed. (Truth be told, all the servers looked oversat and very busy). The managers on duty stepped in to pick up the slack, which is exactly what I expect in that instance. Our meal was served at a comfortable pace, which gave us plenty of time for wine and conversation. I never feel rushed here, which is one of the reasons we keep coming back. I highly recommend the summer salad. It is the best fruit and green salad around. The lobster ravioli is exceptional. The service is tops and the atmosphere is fine. We were seated in the terrace, which had the stove going so it was toasty on a cool evening. My husband and I wish we had found it earlier as it is well worth the 40-minute drive. The food and service are exceptional and the atmosphere is cozy. Top it off by being a BYOB and you have a place we will frequent for years to come. We rarely give 5's but this place deserves it.1/26/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was our first time diningThis was our first time dining at Christine's. The Summer Salad is to die for - the perfect blend of mixed greens, mandarin oranges, and strawberries topped off by a fat-free raspberry vinaigrette. I had the mahi-mahi special. It was very good, but a tad dry. Hubby had the gnocchi and said it was cooked just right and tasted great. Our server was attentive and very patient with my questions and dietary requests. The worst part of the experience was the constantly swinging doors as servers entered and exited the kitchen. There has to be a better way. Who wants to see and hear doors swinging while dining? That is why ambiance only rated a 3. Overall, it was a very good experience and we will be back (but not near the swinging doors).12/8/2012 12:00:00 AM
