"My husband and I went to Chris Michael's to celebrate our 21st anniversary. We arrived early and sat at the bar. Their bar has a large array of top shelf liquor. We took our table right on schedule. The all-male wait staff was very attentive. My husband had sushi for an appetizer. Filet Mignon was the dinner choice for both of us. The entre is served a la carte. We ordered onion rings and mashed potatoes at $7 each, which was a little pricy. However, the onion rings are the size of large corn muffins and very tasty. My husband’s favorite part of the meal was his dessert. I can't recall the name, but it incl. shot of liquor, scoop of vanilla ice cream and cup of espresso."

"My family and I went to Chris Michael's for Easter dinner. While this wasnt my first visit to Chris Michael's, it was my first visit during a holiday. I generally choose not to go out to eat on holidays because even the best restaurants tend to fall short of my expectations when dining on those special days. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The service was still very good, as it always is. They didnt make us feel rushed at all. The food was great. Overall, great day at a great restaurant."

"Had a great time at Chris Michael's for our birthday celebration. The service was absolutely wonderful . . . our server Leo really made the dining experience above par. The menu is top notch quality and on par for the area and crowd that it attracts. We tried the duck, filet, and veal chop . . . all were incredible. The cheesecake, a specialty of Chris Michaels, was unbelievable. It almost had a custard texture . . . at first I thought that it was odd that there were not more choices for the cheesecake (like berries, etc.) but after tasting the cheesecake you can see that it needs nothing more. It was the best cheesecake I had ever tasted. We had a great time . . . a four dinner! Chris Michael's is at least four stars . ."

"i had the porter house steak it was good,my wif had the strip steak she said it was ok for a new jersey restaraunt its problaby in the top five steak houses the cream of spinach very salty, the ambiance was great, a place to impress your date you can stay all night eating, drinking and dancing great time"

"The menu was more surf and less turf. I'm not sure why they call themselves a steakhouse. It was also a little pricey. The steak was good, not great. On the bright side the service was outstanding. They have a very attentive staff."

"I have had dinner many time here as well as sushi and drinks at the bar. I was there on valentines day and very disappointed. We specifically asked the waiter what the difference was between the special bone in rib eye, and the menu Chris Michael rib eye, same price.. He said the only difference was the bernaise sauce, so my wife order the special and I order the Chris Michael. In short my steak was very good as usual, but my wifes was tough and had little taste. A very poor steak. Later we were informed that the special was a choice steak. Even at that it was still bad and at the same price as mine."

"My first time there. Overall the food and service was very good. The GF ordered a tomato soup which was only lukewarm but when I mentioned this to the waiter he immediately brought back another bowl that was very hot. The soup was excellent... and big. Mom enjoyed her porkchop. Side dishes were of good size and all were very tasty. I've been to some steak houses that give you just a few pieces of broccoli for $8. My only complaint is that I ordered a porterhouse for $49 and the size of the steak was not worth the price. It looked like half the steak was missing (I think the sirloin side was missing). I saw a filet at another table and I'd swear there was more meat on his dish. For $34 dollars the filet is a much better value."

"The food was delicious although our steak was a little on the rare side. Everything is a la carte and the prices are fair but a little on the higher side. The wine list is extensive and the dessert and after dinner drink menu is huge with many offerings. Thei homemade cheesecakes were out of this world delicious. It wad very quiet because we made a reservation for fairly early in the evening, 4:30. The other side of the restaurant seemed a little noisier as we were leaving. We celebrated our Valentine's Day here. They even gave the women a rose with the check whic h was a nice touch.Everyone was pleasant and the waiter was attentive. We will definitely return."
