  • "We had another great time at Chops Lobster Bar. In a nutshell, the food was great, of course, and the service was excellent. Having made reservations, from the moment we walked in the door until we left, we were referred to by name. Even though an error was made in my meal order, the restaurant more than compensated (even though I told them it was not necessary) by fixing my plate and leaving my existing order in place. By the time we were leaving (around 11:00 pm), we were sharing pictures with our waiter, Craig. Go. Enjoy"

  • "As usual with the Buckhead Life Group of restaurants, the service was outstanding. That said, we were a little disappointed in the steak. The first time we got the porterhouse for two, we both decided it was the best steak we'd ever tasted, so we were really looking forward to getting it again. Maybe we had built it up in our minds as being better than it really was the first time, or maybe this one just wasn't quite as tasty. It seemed smaller than the other one, also, since we didn't have any left over to bring home. It was still really good, just not quite as good as the first time. Like lots of experiences in life, I guess!"

  • "Our dinner soured at the end when our bill arrived and we discovered that our table of 7 was billed $38.50 for water even though we clearly stated that we wanted plain water. Our waiter described the grilled prawn appetizer as consisting of two prawns totalling seven ounces in weight. At least half of that was the inedible head of the creatures. When some members of our party stated their desire to put tax and tip on their gift card, they were told that it was not possible even though other restaurants allow you to do this. And, after the waiter recommended the lobster mashed potatoes, he failed to note that they were $24.95 per serving. We felt price gouged and at least mildly mistreated. We probably will not be back."

  • "Overall a great time with all the appetizers being outstanding including the raw oysters, oysters Rockefeller, steak tartar and the SA lobster tail. However only 2 of the 4 dinners hit the mark. The lamb chops were highly recommended by our waiter, but they were disappointing... too big, too tough and one person had an upset stomach from his chop. At the price we paid, they should have been outstanding. The tuna steak and the strip steak with truffle butter were very good, so only 2 out of our 4 diners were disappointed. It is a pricey meal, and we will go back, but will stick to our tried and true offerings."

  • "Went to Chops on a date with my wife. The service was top notch. I had a steak which was perfect. My wife had a seafood platter that included a lobster tail. The lobster tail was a little over cooked as it would not come out of the shell real easy, but otherwise everything was great. I recommend the lobster mac and cheese it was delicious."
