There are a couple of things you needs to improve on one being lighting,it was super difficult to read your menu, the tables need candles or some sort of light over them, it would have deterred me from coming back but your food was very good, enough to bring me back. Also your waiters need to keep better attention to their customers, if they are done their food their plates need to be removed and the customer should not have to sit with them longer then they have to. Lastly I would recommend you restaurant to my friends and families. Thank you"

  • "Chop is a better than average steak house with modern menu ingenuity. The Steak Bites appetizer is a must! My wife had the Prime Rib and it was very well executed (Thick cut, perfect temperature for her order, and a very tender, yet beefy taste). Horseradish mashed were a nice touch, especially with the beef dishes. My son had the Crab and Seafood boil (Seasonal special), and the presentation and value were both spot on. My daugther and i shared the Steak and King Crab and both were very good. I chose the Liberty School Cabernet from Hope vineyards and found it a good match with both the steak and the Prime Rib. Overall, very good dining experience and i would recommend it!"

  • "ordered a smoked steak recommended by staff, looked to be about a 10 ounce, was not very tasty, and should of been 16 ounce. my girlfriends was a peppercorn steak very good but still not a high quality steak but the sauce made up for it and her steak was the right size. drinks were a little on the expensive side. I could of ate at the keg for less for better food but the ambience was nice"

  • "We reserved for lunch but the place was almost empty. As a result there was no waiting and we were taken to our table.When we ordered, the waiter pointed out a couple of things and we rethought. The lunches were excellent and we asked for the Jamaican rum dessert which was great. When we left the receptionist held the door open for us. My wife and I were amazed at the quality of the service-informative and friendly. The receptionists are always helpful (and attractive). A place to which we will return."

  • "This was my first time at Chop. Great decor - almost felt like I was in a high-end Las Vegas restaurant. Service was exceptional - waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about everything including the types of beer served - food was excellent especially the French Onion Soup, Cheese Toast, Filet (everyone in our party enjoyed their steaks), roasted vegetables. A little pricey but would definitely go back for special occasions."

We do not like to sit at a booth. You only have two tables for 4. We were a party of 5. And one other larger table which was reserved but wasn't used while we were there."

  • "We were there for an evening out with friends. We each had a steak of some sort. I chose the teryaki steak and enjoyed the taste however, when I am paying a good price for steak I expect it to be very tender. It was so extremely chewy I had to spit a portion of it out because I could not swallow it. another diner at our table had another type of steak and could not finish it because he found it very tough. The pink lemon aid drink was delicious but had way to much ice in it and not enough drink. Two sips later it was gone and I was left with a glass of ice. Don't think we will be back there."

  • "Got a gift card to this restaurant, my husband and I are both vegetarians so a steakhouse would not have been our first choice of venue but we decided to go for a date night. There is only one vegetarian option on the menu, a mushroom ravioli my husband ordered. The waitress was able to sub a veggie patty for me on the burger platter which was very nice of her. The dessert trio was decadent and delicious, and the blueberry roobios tea was an excellent accompaniment. We likely will not be returning but it looked like a nice restaurant for meat eaters."

  • "I totally loved my first experience at the Chop. Everything was perfect! The ambiance was wonderful. Our server was fantastic. We felt very relaxed, well looked after and not rushed in any way. It was a perfect night out! The only thing I would suggest is to a few more choices of seafood dishes with the sides. Rather than having the seafood as a side or extra. Something like a whole meal that would include lobster and shrimp or scallops and lobster, served with potato and started salad or soup. My husband loves going out for steak but I can make a great steak any day of the week, I like to have a nice seafood dinner when I go out. Thanks it was great! And you have stolen us from the KEG! PS Love the washrooms! Great lighting!"

  • "My first experience at CHOP was great! The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. I went back last weekend for a special occasion and was very disappointed. I ordered the steak and lobster (same as last time) and it was luke warm, and the wasabi flavor in the potatoes was very overpowering (very subtle last time). I ordered creme brulee for dessert and it was warm on the inside and was mostly comprised of warm raspberries. I did not get the creme brulee flavor at all. The server did not ask how it tasted even though I left half the dessert in my plate because I could not eat it. I am not one to complain but after spending a ridiculous amount of money for food that was done so poorly I am very disappointed."

One of the baked potatoes was black. Upon complaining another was brought but the meal was over There was no deduction on the bill."

  • "We loved the prawn coattails & prime rib was very good ... the service was really appropriate & exceptional ; when the lovely Amorey felt she had not done enough she sent a manager over who really was kind, thoughtful, and helpful. U could tell that service is a big thing a Chop & we respected that very much. One thing we liked about the service is that it was not "clingy" they were there when needed, came at appropriate times. They made sure we were comfortable, satisfied & enjoying our first dining experience at Chop. We R already planning another,& we like surely order the prawns again; & this time maybe try seafood or steak. Thank U 4 a pleasurable experience, when we had waited to go.& we R pleased we did, well worth it."

  • "I always love the service here . The servers are friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The onion ring appetizer was great. My wife's petite fillet and baked potato were excellent. My braised short rib was good but one spot was a bit charred. The wasabi infused mashed potatoes and vegetables were very good. Thank goodness they have petite versions of their desserts as there was food to take home after the entrees. The raspeberry creame brûlée and fallen chocolate soufflé cake were terrific. All in all a very good dining experience as usual."

  • "The food had nice flavour. One person in the groups steak was undercooked. A complimentary dessert was offered to make up for it. Found the restaurant a little to dark. It was hard to read the menus in that light. We were seated by an emergency door and had to ask to be moved as it was freezing. Very cold winter day! A little pricey compared to other high end steak houses but I feel the quality of the food surpasses others as well. Overall a good dining experience. I would recommend Chop to friends. Ps. The staff were very pleasant and very knowledgeable when dealing with a food allergy in our group."

  • "I had the steak and lobster. I'm sure the lobster was raw but I couldn't see it because it's very dark in there. My steak didn't have any grill marks but was acceptable at best. My baked potato was cold as was my 1/2 a roma tomato that was prepared with a topping of panko. drinks.! Even the free bread was terrible because we were only supplied enough butter for one bun not two and we needed the butter to make it acceptable. The bill came to 160.00 and all we had was two main courses, two appetizers and a total of three drinks.! Fine dining prices for sub-standard food. I'm never going back and will spread the word to anyone I know thinking about wasting their money."

  • "Greeters where prompt to greet us.. Wine selection was great. Our meals came quickly but mediocre. Our server ignored us for the most part and our drinks were empty for most of our meal.. Onece we were finished eating we were left with empty drinks and plates for 30-45 minutes.. waiter just dropped off dessert menu and were left again for another 20.. Declined dessert as we just wanted to get out and have a drink.. not as good as the keg and havent decided if we are going back..."

  • "This was my first time dining at Chop and it was a wonderful experience. My boyfriend took me there for my birthday and we will definitely be back. The appetizer we choose was cheese toast and it was absolutely delicious. We both got steak meals and they were both tasty. I loved the garlicky Caesar salad and mash potatoes as side dishes. The only negative I can say is the vegetables were not cooked enough nor did they have much flavour but the delicious steak and rest of the food made up for it. We chose the full desert option which included minis of each kind. Truly some of the best deserts I have ever tasted especially the raspberry white chocolate. Dark and romantic atmosphere"

  • "The marble walls can increase the sound level, so if you want a quiet spot, ask for the round tables as they are more out of the way and have fabric around them to absorb sound. Food was all good - we tried everything from salmon and tuna to steaks; everything arrived hot. Portions were a good size for me. Wasabi infused potatoes are fantastic."
